So good to see more information now available on the net about this era of flight refueling development - my father was stationed at RAF Marham and was involved in the original RAF trials. He was the Navigator/Plotter in the receiver Valiant XD812 in this demonstration film.
I'd heard there was a period when RAF Tech's had their separate rank structure from the rest of the RAF wearing their chevrons pointing upwards but never seen any films of that period till now.
You would think that the tanker aircraft would be stationed where they had underground fuel tanks rather than take road fuel tankers to fill it up. I’m not 100% sure if this was a red hearing.

It so sad the RAF of today is only 20% the size as it was when this film was made.
