Already watched the VOD and let me tell ya I am excited for Witchfire. While I am against prebuying or buying early access, this game looks neat so far, let's hope the end product keeps up the quality we see now.
Combat with the right Analogstick? Its not a Soulslike. Its a classic Monster Hunter like! (Yes the first couple Monster Hunter games used the right stick for attacking and D-Pad for camera control)
Witchfire is so dope, i played everyday when it came out. I waited so long for this game to come out. They do so much work, need to hop back on since they released a lot of stuff the last time I played.
The Spirit of the Samurai does look very interesting. I´d like to see more of that. Also, Witchfire is a bit to shootery for me, but it does seem an interesting concept. A different game of this type of escape looter, Voin, would be more tempting to me. It has a demo out already and contains a lot of crazy-ass air dodging, dashing, over-the-top melee combat with lots of gore effects. It seems to make you feel pretty badass, plus the weapons look sick. I´d chance a wager and say you´d like it Prod !

That last game had decent cinematic scenes, but the gameplay looked like it was made for like early Nintendo DSs to handle, at least as far as the combat animations go.

Shovel is really freaking powerful. When i was in expedition, we used it to cut fat roots and snakes in two. It looked very easy to use in combat.

Spirit of the Samurai made me think of The Eternal Castle mixed with Sifu.
Give it some really weighty and restrictive platforming and I'm sold.
