You really feel Papyrus briefly snap back to reality with that sentence before he completely loses it. Like, he's aware of how much HP he's lost by making Sans fight back and how fighting is hurting them both in different ways.

i was NOT expecting this oh my god. this is genuinely terrifying, especially because it's Papyrus of all monsters ..
I like to think that every Time you die as sans the timeline keeps the same for the papyrus dust route, and then the human kill him and reset, then you return to this fight once again.. until sans kill papyrus

WHY IT'S SO HARD 😭
it's a neat mechanic and all but it kind of ruins the fight, some of the attacks you have to memorize where to go, and it's unfair trying to learn them with only 1hp
@@BestBoi8 I mean the fight is pretty much just 3 minutes long if you know what to do and where to go.
@@Zero001LP that's the main problem, learning where to go and when, then memorizing it all while only having 1hp is kind of unfair, technically you COULD memorize everything tho

@@user-vp9ry3km2c the attacks themself are decently well thought out, the problem is that a lot of them are based on remembering what to do next, which usually takes a huge amount of trial and error since one mistake instantly kills you

Everyone keeps their og stats but the role change happens
Seems like a canon underswap kind of deal. The jacket gives that away with the text on it, since canon underswap Papyrus is supposed to have jackets with stupid text on them, like "I shed my skin to become immortal". So yeah, it's accurate that Sans has 1 hp.
Is the canon underswap they only swap they roles and KINDA change their personality nothing more than that and swap Papyrus being able to use blasters while swap sans can't

@@Zero001LP refont, I would change the sprite like making papyrus looking like dustswap paps, put sans and papyrus canon stats, giving him gaster blaster but not making him abuse with it, just using them on some attack, add more turn, but I surely would keep the flashback idea and the song they are dope

- Refont is definitely a good start, Papyrus is meant to be whispering, Sans is supposed to be screaming (If we're going by underswap canon, which this seems to do mostly)
- technically SwapDust should be the correct term but who really gives a flying duck
- also it might be his first kill (that being sans) so it wouldn't make sense to have him look all dusty and crap
- they are canon. maybe not papyrus's health which seems too low for a papyrus but who knows, balancing reasons.
- this is really meant to be a quick prologue so giving too many turns seems kinda meh, also you have 1 health, so a short fight is better
@@Zero001LP this is weird, all dust characters are supposed to start their genocide in the ruins, you could say that since he's in Snowdin why not start in Snowdin first, but well actually if you start in Snowdin you let the time to the human to clear the ruins, but I guess in that version he started in snowdin because the human already cleared the ruins and papyrus saw him on snowdin and became crazy like that which make not that much sense, unlike basic dust version where the Sans/Papyrus become crazy by the amount of genocide run that the human do, I think I would use the basic dust origine since it make more sense for papyrus to become crazy because of all genocide timeline than just him going sicko mode because he saw the human covered in dust one time, (edit : when I think about it their version is just the basic genocide lore, so he just should react like classic sans in genocide and be a judge Instead of a executioner)
