Storytime with Sophie & Sparky, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 | Sophie's World

Hi y'all! It's "One and Only You Wednesday". Today Sparky and I want to celebrate all the unique individuals that make up our amazing world. Big thank you to Delilah and Jayce for lending me these fabulous books from their personal library. I'll be starting with, "my beard" from Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk Ends", followed by "Wild About Us" by Karen Beaumont with illustrations by Caldecott Honor winner Janet Stevens. This will be followed by "There's Only One You" by Kathryn Heling and Deborah Hembrook with illustrations by Rosie Butcher. Finally a little poem from "Now We Are Six" by A.A. Milne with decorations by Ernest H. Shepard, entitled, "independence".
