Covering the attempt to oust Mike Johnson as Speaker without once mentioning the fact that he was saved by Democrats is a truly collosal and somewhat mind-boggling oversight. While yes the vast majority of Republicans also voted to save him, enough didn't that he would have lost the Speakership had the majority of Democrats not also voted to save him. That's a significant change in posture since last October when every House Democrat voted to oust Kevin McCarthy, so only covering the Republicans' defiance of Trump, and not Democrats voting to save the Speaker of another party is quite incomplete coverage.

It should also be noted that more Democrats than Republicans voted with Green, and they were from the far left of the Democratic party. This may or may not have been planned, but it seriously weakens Green that it was the "far left" that voted with her, while centrist Dems voted against the measure.

    • @ayskaaetheri3991

This is likely due to Johnson finally cooperating/compromising on the aid deal that trigger MTG's challenge in the first place, where McCarthy had just screwed the democrats over and snubbed them a few hours before his vote. It's democrats signalling that if republican leaders are willing to work with them, they'll at least play ball enough to keep some degree of function going in congress.

Just a small correction at 0:29 both the presidential and parliamentary election (2nd round) were held yesterday (08.05.2024) while the presidential victory was sort of already decided 2 weeks ago with the VMRO-DPMNE candidate leading in the polls it was not certain if she would win in the 2nd round because the Albanian party told their voters to boycott the vote and only vote for the parliamentary election and not in the presidential one (its a bit confusing because both the election happened at the same time but you had a choice if u wanted to vote for one or both of the elections) and if there was not a turn out rate of 40% for the presidential election there would have been new presidential elections

@@liamgellAbsolutely nothing? Anything up to and including the design and the choice of who manufactures the wheels plays a role in that sort of thing, both of which are obviously dictated by Boeing. If it's a design issue, or a QA issue, then it is absolutely Boeing's responsibility, because they either designed it wrong, or cheaped out on the wheel manufacturer.
We've already heard how the door plug was actually faulty when it arrived at Boeing's facilities, and that they unsuccessfully tried to fix the issue, then put the door plug in despite it still being unfixed, so don't say that the manufacturers Boeing chooses aren't an issue.
And as for design, the previous 737 MAX, the MAX 8, had a flaw with its MCAS, which would absolutely count as a design flaw, and caused 2 deadly plane crashes. There could be anything from a serious design flaw here, to a minor one that increases the wear and tear the wheel experiences.

A bit of context since you label a party nationalist. The EU promised to beginn the accession talks as soon as Maceodonia change its name, as Greece demanded. Once it was done, instead of opening the accession talks, a new veto arrived by France. This time the EU changed the way a country can join it in a way so that it is basically impossible (240+ possibilites to veto a candidate). And finally, Bulgaria put last nail on the coffin by firstly openly negating the lanugage and identity, only to later on reiterate from that possition and say that new constitutional changes are needed for them to lift the veto.
Basically, the "good guys" are the ones accepting everything Europe throws at us, and the "bad guys" are the ones saying "NO". It lines up pretty well with what the vast majority of actual sex workers want, so I'd call it good news. When an issue is polarised but a clear majority of the people most directly affected by it support a specific way to handle it, that's probably the right way to handle it.
