Every time she brings tears in my eyes cause it is so beautiful. Angelina Jordan ASTAR (the name says it all), this young norwegian genius is imo the best singer on the planet! I am 69 y old and have never heard a singer like her in my whole life.

A child prodigy, Her first time in studio was when she was 6 and she won Norway's Got Talent when she was 7 & turning 8 yrs old. The youngest Got Talent winner of all time. She sang Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' and 'I'm a Fool to Want You' acapella, 'Bang, Bang' as done by Nancy Sinatra (Sony & Cher) original, and 'Summertime" by George Gershwin which I consider her first Masterpiece performance. Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman.
Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on RUclips. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz. Mery Zamani is Iranian and was considered a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran.
Angelina speaks Norwegian, Farsi, English, Japanese and Swedish.
Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. Angelina plays the piano and guitar and also paints. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.

At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true.
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East.
Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old.
At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried.
Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience.
In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them.
In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists.
Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on RUclips went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old.
In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration.
Angelina’s family took her to United States, Brazil, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Singapore among other corners of Earth, to perform for heads of state and to help raise money for charity. All before Angelina turned 14.
A 9 years old, Angelina recorded a music video covering the 1956 Jay Hawkin’s classic, “I Put a Spell On You”. The video begins by showing Angelina writing her “wishes” for how she wants to perform the song. Angelina has always created her own arrangements for her cover songs.
At age 10 and just a week before her 11th birthday, Angelina recorded a demo of “I’m Still Holding Out for You”. Her family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a RUclips video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances.
When Angelina was 11, she performed a number of concerts in Norway with a jazz/rock band. Those concerts included up to 14 songs, each remarkably performed. Angelina seems to be at her best when on stage, never nervous, only 100% confident.
On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year.
During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each.
In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT.
Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on RUclips. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. On RUclips, search on The Complete Works of Angelina Jordan as Rusty Shackleford has put all songs in one file and has a complete playlist in the description of that video.
The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Her family agreed to a contract with Republic Records in August 2020. Republic Records declared Angelina Jordan their highest priority new artist. Reportedly her family requested Republic to allow her as normal a childhood as possible and therefore have yet to fully promote her.
In November 2020, Angelina released “Million Miles” which she wrote after the passing of her beloved maternal grandfather. She dedicated the song to anyone who has ever lost a loved one.
Angelina had previously released, 3 other original songs: “What is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield”
In April 2021, her original “7th Heaven” was released. A jazzy, danceable, inspiring song.
Angelina has posted numerous short performances on Tik Tok and Instagram.
Angelina has concerts scheduled in Norway in July 2022.
Personally, Angelina as a great human being and her music came into my life when I needed it most. Her music has improved the quality of my life more than I can express. I now introduce her to as many people as I can, with the hope her music will do the same for others. We know once her family believes the time is right and allows Republic Records to fully promote her, she will become the superstar she has always dreamt and believed she would be.

I've been following this young lady for 6 years now, and at my 67 years of age, I have never heard anyone that sings with such feeling and emotion. If you want to learn more about this young prodigy, I am posting a list of what "I" feel are must see Angelina videos. They start at her first time in a studio (6 years old) up to her present age of 16 (as of Jan. 10). They also show how she can sing any genre. This was one of the ones on my list. She has about 170 or so videos on RUclips (5 originals, 2 written for her, and one demo that was leaked before the "original" was released) if you want to go down this amazing rabbit hole. @@devon7008 Thanks! I think it shows a good indication of her low range and high range, different genres and from her first time in a studio until her present age. I agree with you, it is VERY difficult to make a small list, and I suppose it has a lot to do with personal preferences. This list could easily contain 100 songs and they would all be impressive, but I did my best to keep it short. Others will recommend their favorites if he continues this journey, and I've posted this list many times with never a reference by any of the reactors, but I offer it for them and others that may be new and interested in exploring a bit. 🙏

As Devon said, there are many that are stellar performances, and I feel it is safe to say that any of them would leave the normal person in awe, but so as to not post her entire catalog of songs, I did my best to pare it down. I have 3 playlists dedicated to her on my RUclips page. One with all her videos, one with interviews & clips, thoughts and random articles, and another with just videos posted after she signed with Republic Records. I seem to be finding things that I haven't seen before and adding them as I go. I do listen to other artists now and then, but I only watch Angelina reactions to see the wonder and excitement that they show when discovering how amazing she is. As I've seen others say, it makes me feel like a proud parent (or grandparent in my case) as people discover what a talent she has.

You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (145+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse (and many others in between) and do them all justice!
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40 piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come.

Thank you for your reaction. I know you haven't hear anything like this before but you must realize you listened to the best singer of all time. Just watch her performances at NGT when she was 7 and won when she was 8. There are 4 songs and the second song she did acapella.
I don't know whether you realise it at the moment, but you have just discovered the most talented and versatile singer in the world, in my opinion and many thousands of other fans who have followed her for years.
It is impossible to choose a song for your next reaction, as there are over 168 uploaded on RUclips and not one of them is bad. However, I will stick my neck out and suggest two. The first is in a school recording studio at the age of 7 - just before she sang on Norway's Got Talent in 2014, and the second her most recent uploaded on 14 February 2022. She was 16 in this performance (born in Oslo, Norway on 10 Jan 2016). This will show you that Angelina is no "nine-day wonder, but has been performing for over 10 years. It is my firm belief that she will become the most significant artist of all time.

Commenting upon this performance, there are so many things I get from it that I feel compelled to mention them.
(1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice.
(2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move.
(3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus.
(4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance.
(5) That wonderful crescendo at the end.
(6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance
(7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand.
(8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 3.27 min in your reaction video.
(9) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child, who curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause.
Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different

Despite the fame Angelina earned winning NGT 2014, her parents were insistent that she have a normal childhood. They turned down record labels and performance requests, limiting her appearances to about 10% of the requests. This is the reason why she flew under the radar for many of us. Yet she did perform around the globe, including on "The View" at 8 years old in the US. As an international "Got Talent" winner, 13 year old Angelina was invited to audition for America's Got Talent, The Champions (AGTC) Season 2020. She owned the audience with her first few lines. She sang her own stunning arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody", earning both a golden buzzer and a congratulatory tweet from Queen for her performance. This is a must see performance (link below).
Despite not winning AGTC in 2020, Angelina was the golden goose everyone wanted. Although many record labels, including those most associated with AGT, and even Disney were knocking on her door, she said no. Yet, at 14 she chose to sign with Republic Records, as they shared a common vision of her music, giving her complete artistic and timing control. RR made a sound decision as while Angelina is still a child, she will become a significant voice to the world. Angelina has appeared on television shows and at music festivals, all while she was still a single digit midget. Although her parents still insisted that Angelina should have a normal childhood, teenaged Angelina is sings with the voice of someone decades older. The largest live audience she sang for (while a preteen) was 40,000, and the more she grows, the more her voice grows, exponentially. Angelina’s received over 1 billion views on RUclips and almost 2.5 billion views on Facebook. She has been featured in TIME, CNN, BBC, and People while also performing on the U.S. network TV shows Little Big Shots and The View. At 8 years old, she performed in the Nobel Peace Prize Concert - Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration, for Peace Prize Laureates Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi. She has sung for Quincy Jones, Barak Obama, Whoopi Goldberg, Forrest Withaker, and numerous dignitaries in Europe.
Angelina turned 16 in January 2022, and lives with her parents, grandmother, and her little sister Juliette in LA. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, was an Iranian born child prodigy in her own right, but in poetry and art. Mery is Angelina's mentor, and they have an incredibly close relationship. Mery films and designs most of her performance attire. Mery and Angelina also worked together to create the artwork for her original release, “Million Miles” (lyrics version). This was written while she grieved over the loss of her grandfather. Angelina (14 y/o) sings from her heart, and offers up her performance to others that grieve the loss of friends and family. “Million Miles” was also released as a studio version, and later as a music video, featuring Angelina and her little sister Juliette, (15 and 8 years old respectively). Juliette performs as a ‘young Angelina’ in the video. I imagine it was a cathartic experience that both sisters could share in.

Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz". She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio recording. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at age 6, Angelina came across an orphaned girl weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. She said to herself "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina loved her shoes as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them, but she saw the little girl’s need for them outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them.
Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle but the ruins next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true you have to remember the poor children without shoes, and I will pray for you Angelina.” Angelina wrote in her diary that day "The world is very strange. Right then and there I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.”
From that point on, Angelina never performs or makes a studio recording without first taking off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone asked why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, a child prodigy in her own right, but in poetry and art, created the artwork in the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina performed alongside other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars.

As for Angelina reactions, a "MUST SEE" is her cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I Put a Spell on You" (1956). Although it's a jazz staple and hundreds have performed it (including Nina Simone, CCR, Bette Midler), none have taken on Jay's original performance as it's truly out in a field of it's own. Little 9 year-old Angelina arranged the music and lyrics for this piece (as she does with all her covers) creating a black and white studio performance that many consider as the masterpiece cover of Jay's original. This comment is very lengthy, but it's worth getting to know the world of Angelina Jordan. Our Angelina performs in such a way as to open a window into her world, and it’s breathtaking.
Angelina is a Norwegian born child prodigy, who began singing at 16 months old. Her mother came home from shopping one day and heard her baby/toddler singing lyrics from a Whitney Houston song (there's even a partial home video). As a musical prodigy, Angelina taught/teaches herself how to sing. She’s had formal training in guitar and piano, but not for her voice. At most, she is critiqued on her lines. The biggest constant with Angelina Jordan is that her performances are always amazing to listen to. She visualizes how she thinks the piece should sound, and works it out until it’s exactly what she wants. Although she’s been called a vocal chameleon or the girl of a 1,000 voices, Angelina does not parrot other performer’s music. Between 2 and 3, Angelina gravitated towards teaching herself to sing jazz and the blues, listening to records and RUclips. She’s a great consumer of the jazz and blues masters (Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Etta James, Billie Holiday, and later with Adele and Amy Winehouse). Growing up with RUclips at her fingertips, she could listen again and again to her favorites, and work out in her head how she would sing them. At 3 years old, Angelina set her sights on performing for Simon Cowell, a dream that came true 10 years later as 13 year old Angelina auditioned for America's Got Talent, The Champions (AGTC).
By 5 her parents finally relented to Angelina's wanting to singing talent shows. At 7, they again relented, and let Angelina follow her dreams onto the stage of Norway’s Got Talent auditions for Season 2014. The last audition of the day was a barefoot, snaggle-toothed, bushy haired, Angelina, who chose to sing of all things, Billie Holiday's "Gloomy Sunday" (link below). This is a song that's beyond many adult singers (link below). Omer Bhatti, one of the judges, said of 7 year old Angelina in a later interview “We were in shock when she started to sing…it was a discussion whether it was an impression of that kind of music or the real deal…and the next time we saw her, she owned the stage, when she rehearsed, she told the bassist what she wanted and had full control. And we were like…ok…you are a star…we have something special here…”. She made a masterful performance of Gershwin’s “Summertime” for her final performance, with the people of Norway voting her the winner; a must see performance (see link below).
Prodigies, by their nature, aren't limited to the rules everyone else has to follow. Vocal coaches reacting to her have said that she just knows instinctually control her body to sing the music the way she wants to, even at low registers. They can identify everything she's doing; they just can't say how she's able to do it. By 15, Angelina has performed over 160 covers and has 5 originals. Regardless of the genre she sings, you may be able to pick up the dulcet tones of Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and many other artists hidden in her voice or phrasing. Angelina also doesn't approach singing as the vast majority of very talented child singers do; belting the heck out of a song from start to finish. Her songs sneak up behind and capture you with kindness, often within the first few lines. Her runs are insane but totally organic. When she wants to belt, she belts.

Singing from the time she was born? Well ........ almost! There is a short YT video of her attempt at singing "I Will Always Love You" at EIGHTEEN MONTHS OLD! MIND-BLOWING! You should check out her studio rendition of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "I PUT A SPELL ON YOU" (black & white video) at the ripe old age of NINE YEARS & TWO MONTHS OLD, a year before this performance. It will leave you speechless!

This was around the time she left her "child voice" behind for good. (Yes, really 10 here - although, to be fair, she was very nearly 11.) But even going back to shortly after she turned 8, she could sometimes sound almost this mature, depending on the song she was singing (the particular example I'm thinking of is her live rendition of "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" in the semfinals of _Norway's Got Talent_ [Norske Talenter], 3 months after she turned 8, where she sounds much more mature than in the first two rounds sung just months before).
She has always sung in a more mature way than her chronological age, even when she started singing at 1½ (there is Actual Video Evidence of this, which you will see eventually if you keep reacting to her). Of course, back then she sounded like a very, very young child, but even at that young of an age, she actually seems (to me… even if only briefly) to be "connecting" to the song at an emotional level (or, to put it more simply, "singing it with feeling"). The next time we get to witness her singing (based on videos that are currently publicly available - there's gotta be a ton of others we haven't seen yet), she was reportedly 5 (although I strongly suspect she was already 6, for reasons I won't go into right now) and giving another "command performance" at home for the video camera. This time, though, she has been asked to perform with a little toy guitar that she doesn't want to use because, as she says, "It's not so good" (just plastic strings, not tuned at all). As a result, her a cappella performance of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is a bit rushed and "perfunctory" (done merely to satisfy the person behind the camera, and clearly not "committed to" by Angelina). At the end, she declares, "And that's finished," as she quickly moves to put the guitar away, as if to prevent any possible "encores". The performance reveals she could carry a tune, but not much else about her singing.
Then we have a bunch of videos from when she was 6 or 7 (again, I say the later age, and others say the earlier one), where she is recording vocals in a modest studio. The most popular one of these shows that she was almost "ready for prime time", but I think that's because it was one of the last ones she did (while others believe it was her first [sigh…]). Basically all of the other videos recorded in the same location reveal that she still had significant limitations (in particular, she didn't have great breath control and was often "pitchy", especially when she got louder - in short, she was still singing like a child). But she was clearly "fully invested" in trying to sing the songs as well as she could. This was after she had declared her intention to become a "superstar" who could "sing for the whole world", and I think that intention - that determination - can be seen in every video, no matter what she sounds like. I've said that she looks like a "girl on a mission". Others have said (perhaps not in relation to these exact videos I'm referring to) that it's as if the soul of some legendary singer from the past has been reincarnated as a little girl from Oslo, and is now impatient to continue what was started in that previous life.
And then she went on _Norway's Got Talent_ and everything just "came together". She absolutely _slayed_ every performance. No pitch problems, even when singing her 2½-minute second-round song a cappella. Far from "singing like a child", she was able to "sing like" Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Ella Fitzgerald (although in that last song ["Summertime" in the finals] it sounds to me like she was mixing in a generous helping of Dinah Washington [whom she would cover just weeks later]). Now, granted, her voice in her audition was still clearly that of a child, but that was mainly because of how high (pitch-wise) she had to sing the song. This revealed a certain "hoarse" quality to her voice - also known as "rasp" and some other things. (I could go into a lot more detail about this, but this is already way too long of a comment. So, we'll just move on.) The second song was pitched lower, and the third one lower still (and not as stylistically complex as the other two), so she was able to sing with more and more "power" in each performance (even though the songs themselves were surprisingly "subdued", given that she was trying to win a talent competition - no belting, for example).
To wrap up this "story" as quickly as possible, I'll just say that after NGT she continued to develop vocally, in terms of both the sound of her voice, per se, and what she could do with it. In terms of the former (the sound of her voice), there was a big "leveling up" when she was 10 (when, like I was saying before, she lost the last vestiges of that certain "childlike" quality in her voice), and again just recently (last year). She now (at 16) _really_ sounds like a grown woman. (Of course, people were saying that when she was 12, so that's kind of a scary thought… What the hell is going to happen in the next few years?) In terms of the latter (what she could do with her voice), there was also a kind of "explosion" of different styles/techniques at 10, then again at 12 (and 13), and finally again just recently (last year, when she started doing lots of TikTok covers, some of which are very different from anything she's done before).
There's so much about her I haven't even hinted at, but a lot of it will be addressed by others. So I'll just stop there.

She's an old soul for real.
Some young talents eventually flame out, for a number of reasons: they tire of the business; they have one voice that listeners eventually tire of; life and teen angst take their toll; they are exploited relentlessly and have little control over their lives. This will not happen to Angelina. Her approach to vocal music is viscerally different. She is first attracted to lyrics and melody by what she feels for them, not what is likely to sell. Secondly, she reimagines the melody and lyrics to best suit each other, and rearranges it all, then chooses which of her myriad voices she will best use to tell the story of the song, not just in words, but in feelings for her that she can, as a natural empath, embody for others. Thirdly, she has no need for money, no need for dance movement or body exposure to sell a song. Her maturity and control over her life and music are evident from quite young age, say 6, and she will allow no one to corrupt any of that, not the public, not a record company. She is the ultimate Singer's Singer. As a most unmusical 83 year old, I have watched her daily for 10 years, my geezer tonic so to speak.
Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to jazz at early age. Mery is somewhat famous Iranian contemporary writer, poet and painter who was also child prodigy herself being on Radio Iran's Children program at age 4 and began writing poetry and painting by age of 9. Later Mery was trained in art at Tokyo Academy in Japan where she met her husband, who was Japanese, during her master degree's training in Japan. You are almost correct about singing from birth. She was able to sing at 18 months. Before that she hummed songs starting I think at eight months. She has not been forced to do any of this. Her mom has said she is in charge and if she wanted to stop tomorrow, that would be it. Angelina is 16 now and is going to be a global Icon. She is not a self-centered person as many in the west become when showered with praise. Angelina sings for benefits and causes all around the world. Until she is through with school Angelina has a limited schedule. This includes three originals song: “What Is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” Since then she has done many new covers and now her new singles "Million Miles" and “7th Heaven”, along with her movie soundtrack "Mercy" from the motion picture “The Hating Game”.
