Question: I feel very strong attractions to Sheykh Effendi and I will like to visit you at Osmanli Dergahi but I’m afraid that my mursyid will stop me from going and will be hurt by my actions. What should I do?

Shaykh, what if there are many tariqas by us are we okay to give bayah to multiple shaykhs and join different sufi orders ? They are all sunni and accept each other and have same teachings at core just maybe do different zikr. E.g. Qadri and Naqshbandi

mad khan No. This is disrespectful to your Shaykh. Once you give bayat to your Shaykh your Spiritual Rizq is prescribed by that Shaykh. If you receive something from another Shaykh, even that is from your Shaykh. So while it is ok to have Aqeedat with as many Shuyookh, remain bayat with your Shaykh. If you are to receive Fayz from the other Shaykh you want to give bayat to, you will get it Insha’ALLAH.
