see, I would say that if it's going to have 390 alpha, give it better DPM comparable the Tortoise or the Badger, that's the only complaint I have with the vehicle to be honest
I'd prefer giving it a stronger front hull but actually modeling the machine gun port so that it has a real weak spot on the superstructure. That way you can be more aggressive with it instead of relying on positions where a tank with only 5.5 degrees gun depression can go hull down, but at the same time players with good aim can punish your weak spots without needing to press 2.
If this tank was just the k91 with all the great gun features, the shell velocity, same alpha and everything, just at tier 9 minus a turret. (Maybe better dpm) I would be pretty hype for it but yea it kinda look bad
This review summed up: QB discovers that TDs do, for the most part, have to play passively and wait for opponents to fall into traps. Of course a unicorn player with amazing experence, mechanical and tactical knwledge/skill as well as a strong ability to turn games in their favor cannot stand a tank that's incapable of doing that.... welcome to slow tansk and most TDs^^ Slight joke aside, I feel the main drawback is the aim circle bloom during even the slightest movements. It looks like he's palying with a damaged gun even though he maxed the thing out with equipment and crew. All the other compalints simply boil down to "This tank has a very passive playstyle, which QB really hates"
The one thing that's really annoying (although I actually quite like the tank overall and have had a number of 3k+ dmg games in it already) is that the gun traverse is actually slower than the tank traverse, so you your aiming circle won't stay centered in sniper mode if you're turning.
It was really interesting watching this game live. Once you started to click with the tank, you stopped talking and could really see the change in focus and effort in your face, along with a shift in play style. Could tell you weren't having fun though. Glad you got the ace so you can set it aside and play tanks you enjoy. Thanks for the review!
If it had better shell velocity and accuracy kinda like the K91 this would be a good vehicle that’s more flexible. This looks like exactly the kind of tank I’d enjoy to push into weird positions and flank with close range and distance, but those 2 things really bring down its usability for me.
There arent many guys like QB, well mannered, well spoken, family friendly, passionate, funny in a goofy kind of way and very professional. I dont understand how people can have anything against him. I know for a fact that my WoT journey would have been seriously lacking in so many ways if not for him. Cheers to you QB and hope all is well!
Seeing as gun depression is a good thing in WoTs, I like the idea of it being a happy tank saying "I've got Depression!" but I think people will definitely take it the wrong way
Just such a good review. Thank you for these. I like the K-91, however, this K-91-PT doesn't have the accuracy or gun angles to be able to side scrape. Its shell velocity is also very lack-luster. Poor penetration. WoT should have tried to make this into a tier 9 medium right in between the Obj. 416 and the K-91.
They could make it better just by slightly buffing the armor so that it could side-scrape. Or they could buff the aim time a bit so that it could snipe.
Maybe going all in with a camo net would make it shine. With 50+ camo rating sitting and 10+ after shooting it could shoot in some very aggressive positions from behind a bush and not get spotted.

It would call it a assault scout. The gun won't hit a barn from the inside. The gun is great for shooting pigeons, ducks, if they hold still. But Mobilty is fun and vision is good.
As far as I see, its actually 9 tokens for non-paying customers en 9 additional for those willing to pay 3x2500 gold, so none will receive both Kunze and K-91-PT. A bit of a shame this one has more big let downs than just the low potential damage. Any chance any of the 2 will be buffed before being released? Already have the AE and Object, Char, Kunze and K-91-PT are all not really giving me the Me Wants fibe, K-91-PT most likely should I spend gold (yes I know the Char Futur is a good tank, but it would become are dusty good tank in my garage, don't like it)

It doesn't matter, as he's using bounty equipment in the other slots. Bounty (or improved) equipments don't benefit from the first slot enhancements. The first slot only matters with standard stuff.
The fact I feel like the gun can be compared to the Su-122-44s gun is a real concern for the tank (ignoring better pen obviously), it has slightly better gun handling but 30% better on Turret traverse, worse reload time/fire rate, worse DPM, less potentional damage, 12% better aim time. It just doesn't seem right for a tier 9 tank. I also feel like I've a better chance to bounce in my SU-122-44 being top tier in a game vs the K-91 in the same scenario
Accuracy and aim time wants you to brawl but everything else tells you to stay back and use your strenghts. IMO it's a bad compromise with these stats.

Encounter one of these yesterday while driving my SU 122 44. He hit me unspotted then came in for the kill. He bounced the next 3 shots and I killed him. I think I would rather have the SU 122 44. Same gun, and DPM, though half the hit points and not so great armor...

i have that tank (skipped battle pass), and i aced it with 5.1k dmg by being agressive and in your face, the tank can suprise people cause they don't think it can go that fast or for that matter turn that fast.
This is another tank that is so hard to get wins in. Not sure what WG has against some tanks but no matter how well you play in this tank, it seems the teammates suck. My Ace in this one was with about 6k combined damage (most of it direct). 5 kills. 3k blocked. And yet it is a loss. Happens again and again in this tank. There are some others that way too. Crazy how that works. Oh and I actually have a ram kill in this thing. lol Yes, it is a tank that teaches patience.
It's not op. It's not flashy. It's good. We need more avarage tanks that can't do everything at once but are good enough to compete against normal tech tree tanks. The powercreep with the Russian tanks is allready bad enough as it is.

This is another tank that is so hard to get wins in. Not sure what WG has against some tanks but no matter how well you play in this tank, it seems the teammates suck. My Ace in this one was with about 6k combined damage (most of it direct). 5 kills. 3k blocked. And yet it is a loss. Happens again and again in this tank. There are some others that way too. Crazy how that works.
Oh and I actually have a ram kill in this thing. lol

We need more avarage tanks that can't do everything at once but are good enough to compete against normal tech tree tanks. The powercreep with the Russian tanks is allready bad enough as it is.
