I’m gobsmacked 😶 by his taste… which I expected to be eclectic but I did not expect to be as refined as it is. 🤩 I must have a bit of a flair to get transfixed by certain artists of various fields, because after a while, I always discover that them and I, we have some preference in common for something…whatever that is…and in GD’s case is that my favourite Romanian artist and my favourite Korean artist intersected their paths…🤩 Yay!! The fact that he has an Adrian Ghenie painting is the biggest joy to me because this artist is Romanian (like myself) and he was born and raised in my hometown in Romania and attended the same art-school as myself, only years later… because I’m older; unlike me, he was lucky enough to become an artist after the country toppled the communist regime…the world was open to him, no more censorship or exhibition restrictions. ❤️ Kudos to GDragon and his fabulous house - he deserves it because talent should be rewarded by all means … I’m so happy he did not disappoint me…🥰🙏
I don't know about that "Ali" painting but the tiger painting has to either have been comissioned or given to him as a gift because It has 1. his peaceminusone flower on it, 2. it has his birth year on it (1988) , and 3. It has the korean flag on it.
As a long-time fan of BB / GD, I knew he had an affinity for art (and expensive taste) but I personally knew next to nothing abt art. This video was VERY well done and incredibly informative! It makes me, as a fan, feel like I understand him a little more. Hope you do more in the future!
