I will keep watching the Sniper series as long as Berrenger is in them. I don't care if he is 90 and sniping people from the window of a retirement home, I love how he plays that character.

this was actually pretty good it exceeded the low expectations i had for it...but I wish I didn't watch the trailer i prefer no to know Berenger was going to be in it...It was cool to see him rise from the dead though ;)
I wish there was an FX, AMC, or HBO sniper series. through a mission for every season. you never know what's going to happen.

Guys this actually was a good movie trust me. I saw this trailer thought it was going to be cheesy, but the action scenes were great and entertaining. Hollywood sucks at shootouts these days

I love all the Sniper films. So of course, I will see this one too. This one has Dennis Haysbert in it too. He was awesome in The Unit.
The first one is still the best, these other ones will never be as good.
Anyone else notice that they are using a synthetic piece of crap ghilliesuite from a airsoft store at 0:37. No Sniper trained in the stalk would use a synthetic ghilli it is to shiny especially without vegetation tied in.

It's a cheesy movie, just like the first one. I'm sure there are plenty of inaccuracies far more serious than ghillie suit material.

Not to throw out too much history as the men lacking historIcal knowledge are beating their chests. WOMEN were some of the most deadly snipers in Russia. You wanna know how the powerful woman villian got it's start before movies? It was a woman looking out from behind the business end of a rifle in Russia. Granted this portrayal looks cheesy and I'm sure,knowing hollyweird, does no justice to those efficient female snipers that actually lived
It actually does show the female sniper justice. She does have a purpose, unlike most Hollywood movies these days, and is displayed to be very competent and skilled. The movie does have a low budget, but i liked it quite a bit. The first one is still by far my favorite though with the way they nailed the technical part of everything.

Female soldiers are actually very common, aswell as female snipers in many countries.
But i guess what Hollywood tells you in movies is more important than reality.
Many foreign militaries have woman in combat roles. The U.S. is one of the few that doesn't allow it. Just take Israel for example or the Kurdish women fighting ISIS.

Regarding US female snipers and teams, every year women from the USAF AND the Guard graduate from the Air Force Countersniper School at Camp Joseph T. Robinson in Arkansas.
And this is OLD news, as Senior Airman Jennifer Donaldson -USAF was the first female to graduate
from Camp Joseph on April 14, 2001.
However, as far as Army/Marine scout sniper school? No. As women are still not allowed to be in direct combat roles.
Also, the Swiss army and the IDF graduate female snipers directly to combat all the time.
Yeah Air Force Base Defenders. They're camp security with scoped rifles NOT snipers.
I think 0.50 Barrett is too difficult for a woman. Only if it is with some man who carries it for her. In WW2 were women - snipers, but Mosin - Nagant is not as heavy as Barrett82, or some similar rifles.

wow, for a movie about snipers they show terrible tactics, @ 0:35, the rifles barrel is out of the window. Sniper tactics dictate to shoot from within the building, not to have the barrel sticking out.
SGT Barnes is the only reason am watching this :)

When the hell did sniping become a man thing? Vietnam showcased a lot of elite sniping on both sides and half of them were from Vietnamese women, some even teenagers trained by Soviet Spetznaz. Just because there's a lot of documentation on Marine sniper kills doesnt mean the other side didnt have their fair share. The Apache butcher gained infamy by being placed at the very top of the CIA/Marine hit list. She was a ruthless sniper that specialized in maiming rather than the one shot one kill motto. Having a sadistic pleasure for watching a man bleed, she believed injuring one brings others into the line of fire and she maximized her kill count by immobilizing anyone that came to assist the fallen soldier as one hit turns into 2, and 2 into 4, and so on. She was eventually hunted down by the legendary Marine sniper Carlos Hathcock, who had a personal vendetta against the young lady for the deaths and torture of fellow Marines.
I read about that girl in a novel about Carlos Hathcock.

Yeah its low budget and yeah its got a female sniper...truth be told females make excellent snipers...they have steadier calmer hands then males so suck it up and enjoy the action

Got out of Hollywood for starters, bought a ranch, raised a family from the movie royalty cheques and did odd cameos and adverts over the years, occasionally doing (like here) a movie to get off the Golf Course and away from watching day time TV. After the success of just 5 movies, he did practically retire :-D

Women make great snipers. Get one of the best shooters out of the MP's and put one on your team and you'll find out. Anyway this movie is hmm. The first one was great than it nose dived like the "Behind Enemy lines" franchise. No spiderman, silver surfer, hulk or ironman as said before.
