Your animation and explaination about elastic steel is wrong. You made steel strecth like a rubber, not elastic. Eleastic steel just bend, then it return to its original form once release. This kind of steel was use on vehicles, its make the ride comfortable. Same as the elastic steel use for leg amputated athletes. Does elastic steel stretch even 0.1 cm? No.
