Despite the movie's overall cheesy quality, I can't help but love this scene. From the way the music soars on the soundtrack, to repeating the shot of Noah going in for the kiss, to sparks literally flying out of the kissing booth, it's impossible not to love it!
I don't think the romantic type of love is special, and I think that the romantic type of love isn't real. More than half of romantic relationships end in a breakup/divorce I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it.

IMO he looks like the dam that's been holding his feelings about her at a safe distance, broke with the first kiss and it was a flood of emotions for him and her both from there. I also feel like they wanted it to appear as if they had forgotten they were surrounded by people and they appeared to do just that.
