My first car was a 2005 C240 and I loved it. Sadly a guy ran a red light and T-boned me on my way to class, I didn't have a scratch on me but both cars were totaled and the other drivers left in ambulances. Since that day I only trust Mercedes to keep me safe on the road. Best cars ever built. ❤️

Amazing video. The amount of precision / robotics / sheer number of parts etc etc and etc is mind numbing. I can just imagine the incredible amount of hard work and brains over the past more than 120 years would have gone to make the process look like that.
And one of the best parts..how easily the staff fit that iconic mercedes benz logo. A small part for them..but in the outside world people plan their entire life and career around it..just to get that. No wonder he smiled. Could see the pride in their eyes. 😊

3:28 carefully checks the paint than fills up the paperwork right on the car
I don't think the worker hurt the paint with his pen or paper. Factory paint is hardened (baked on in an oven - we didn't see that) fully cured within an hour(s). Factory (no interior upholstery inside) paint is not like body shop paint that has to air dry and cure for one month.
Without scratch or dent ! ;-)
Yeah too bad most nice colors only come as 1K paint. (And most factory paints are 1K, only the primer is 2K and the clear coat is 2K, MOST of the time) But still look how the factory paint has major orange peel issues...
That's so you have is signature engraved on every boot of every latest Mercedes. Just check carefully on any recent mercedes

OldLien1 I agree. The current C class is the best looking sedan Mercedes makes. The E class does not have the right proportions.
For some reason, the grill looks slightly dated to me. It doesn't look as modern and futuristic like BMW's and Audi's. It's still a beautiful car though and I want one.

That was me when i bkught my A45.... got home washed a couple of days later and foubd out they had scratched the front spoiler lip and just filled it with polish. Never let the dealer detail your car. They are all hopeless

Bought an 02' c240 150k + and still an amazing car.
I own this model in lunar blue metallic color with black interiors... it simply looks elite & vibrant in that color.. good to see the process behind assembling a C class sedan.

Md Zaman i work for fords you don’t need no degree I work on the production line it’s all in house training don’t need nothing more really simple we make the engine and not the body of the car fords stopped doing body for the car years ago
