Dad, I miss you. And...I'd like to urge everyone to please take care of yourselves for the sake of your loved ones and friends, because sometimes you don't realize how much your wellbeing matters to those who treasure you. Thank you all.
I can’t say that I have words of comfort that are truly meaningful. I just wish you the best. And I hope you can perform the grieving process how you want to do it. (And I get the impression that you’ve started the process, given the lovely reminiscence you gave us of your dad) Take care of yourself, man.
Im... sorry for your loss. And hope you get better. Im sure your dad lived his best - i wish, i could have such a son as you. Both of you are the best, take rest from public.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Take all the time you need your mental well-being and your family is all that matter right now. I'll support you no matter what you do.
I hope I never have to feel the loss of my dad but I know it’s gonna happen someday (hopefully later) but I don’t know what id do losing my dad would crush me, I hope I don’t lose anyone soon, it would break me to no end
Embrace the feeling. Just want you to know that you're going to be stronger than before. Life is mystery. You will learn and learn, every day. Stay strong and keep moving forward. Make your own journey and cherish every moment. But don't forget to be happy and stay true to yourself! I know you'll be fine.
My condolences to you and your family. I don't know if this means much, but if you feel depressed and want to find a bit of peace of mind, please check out a movie called The Wind Robot. It's a heartfelt story about family and a parent's love and sacrifices for their children. I hope it can soothe your soul.
My deepest condolences to you, your family, and your relatives. It's really hard to lose a parent. My mom passed away due to covid in 2021. It's been 3 years, the pain doesn't go away, and I think it never will. However, time does lessen the pain. I think of good memories with my mom to keep going, and I think my mom would be so disappointed if I gave up haha. So I'm now living my life on her behalf too. Thank you for sharing. Please be strong. Take all the time you need.
We each process this sort of loss differently and you need not feel like you take a longer or shorter amount than others to come to terms with his passing - take each day as it comes and smile or cry as you need to but keep moving forward, not running away from it, but not letting it stop you from evolving. I was 12 when my mom passed and it took me several years to fully understand how to process how it impacted me, but more-so how she impacted me while she was still here. Now at almost 30 I find myself remembering the small things, the small moments - us playing Uno at midnight, her teaching me to swim in my aunts pool, her borderline obsession with 80s romcom movies - those little things are the things that I remember the most now and it means that whenever I think of her the tears have faded away and I get to smile at the memories.
Don't have any words... yet I'd like to share In 2019 my dad passed away in November... at the age of 52... lol how coincidence works it's surprising. Though I was much younger, I was 17 at the time & now 22. I have an elder sister & was the person who tackled most of it. But, Just so you could feel at ease... know that, life just goes on & you'll go on with his memories in mind.❤
Daniel, I am really sorry for your loss.. even I paused for a moment when I saw the title and cried after wathing the full video. I can barely imagine what the last two weeks have been like for you. Thank you for sharing with us, I am so grateful to be here, to hear your feelings and to have a chance to tell you that everything is okay for us. well, at least for me. Take as much time as you need. We are always here for you even though we see each other less than ever. May he rest in peace.
My dad also passed away in 2012 and i know very well how it felt to lose a parent. Me and my family took almost 2 years to get used to our home after he gone since he was someone who always talked loudly.

No words are ever enough to comfort a grieving person, at least from my experience. Still, sending hugs and prayers your way Daniel. Hopefully, whatever path this experience leads you to, will be a fulfilling one~ ❤️
Oh, I can't even put into words how much pain this feels. But it's really nice hearing you talk about his personality and you even laugh at times. It seems he still was and IS a good dad/person overall and that's at least great. Sending hugs again, man. 🫂🫂🫂
