Ishikawa finished the tournament as the best attacker and best scorer of the finals and the whole tournament, best server from japan team, best receiver from japan team, second best blocker ofJapan behind onadera. And was awarded the as best OH. And everybody knows Ishikawa setting skills is far from Ran because Ishikawa can also set the middles. Ran can't.
He's good because he's young and teams havent studied him well enough. One bad season doesnt mean the player is bad. I can same the same also when a player does have one good season. It will took years and consistency to tell if a player is already good.
Sooner or later I think he's gonna fade as he gets scouted. He flopped in the finals and that's a sign he is being scouted already by teams. Quite overrated but not as overrated as nishida. Ran's defense is good though
Not just Ran few other player also flopped due to physical fatigue rather than scouted, is a given outcome with tight schedule like that, some even suffer injury.
fade at 21 yrs old? LMFAO. He knows how to adjust even during mid-games, he's immune to that with padova in superlega. And have you seen his vnl performance prior to his finger injury? He was the most consistent with 4 Match MVP. And for the record, Nishida isn't overrated, try watching world championship 2022 & Tokyo Olympics. Calling these players overrated is so embrassing when they're both exceeding expectations with their age at 21 (Ran) and (23) Yuji. One bad season/game doesn't define an athlete's career.
Ishikawa and Takahashi are the most complete package players of Japan.
Not only second ace, he's 2nd setter and 2nd libero as well
also don't forget blocker
@@steadfast3607everyone on that team blocks except the libero
I also think he’s the 3rd setter because ishikawa is a little better at setting in my opinion but rans passing is better
@@kyroshi_ you're right but what i meant was that he is such a great blocker as well...

As always, an incredible game by the Japanese national team!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🏐🇯🇵
o homem saca, recebe, passa, defende, bloqueia, ataca, levanta e busca a bola, fazendo tudo de forma espetacular… completo mesmo

ok people can hate all they want but ran’s defense is undeniably incredible
