Danny, you should separate your darks from your whites. For your whites put bleach and detergent and fabric softener with every white wash. It works to keep the whites white. For your darks use detergent and fabric softener. If you are worried about bed bugs put a plastic casing around your mattress. You can get it at Walmart 😊😊😊
It might be the water that makes the white sheets yellowish. Apartments community laundry rooms don't filter the water. I remember when my white Tshirts would get yellowish. Take your laundry to a local laundry center and the sheets (and other whites) will stay whiter longer.
I'm really enjoying watching your videos the part about the pet hair really cracked me up. You are a very funny guy. Maybe you missed your calling? Stand-up comedian? I think you could Master it. I copied the segment about pet hair and sending it to a friend who breeds chihuahuas I just happened to be an appliance repair technician and I'm constantly repairing their washing machines which have large hairballs in them from time to time. You'd really enjoy that😅
You are too funny, my son is 56and he washes his sheets once a month, I am a paranoid bug fanatic and use white on my bedding also, I wash the sheets every two weeks, my husbands side is always a dingy color while my side is nice and white, I change my pillowcase twice a week but not my husband’s, I have a separate shelf for his bedding so I don’t mix it up with mine, you can’t use bleach because it breaks down the fiber in the sheets, in the old day you would bleach the sheets but with these newer sheets you can’t, I’ve come to the conclusion my husband sweats and I don’t that’s why his side gets discolored while my side is pristine. I enjoy your videos you make me smile, keep doing what you do.❤️
: ) THANKS for sharing ! I have problems with bedding too, I sweat too much as I sleep, and scratch :( Plus its a pain to change bedding to wash it all, let alone the pet hair you are battling ! :( Hang in there and ALL the BEST ! ! Cheers : )
Hi Danny, sounds like you're buying inexpensive bed sheets! and studying feng shui don't be head-faced against your bathroom, creates nightmares, lack of sleep, even gapping it or having a headboard or sleep opposite direction would help~ Have a wonderful winter season , take care ~
Roaches can be controlled relatively easily. Most large farm stores carry low odor residual pesticides meant to combat roaches. Apply it where pipes enter and exit the walls, around the perimeters of windows and doors too. Avoid bringing paper bags and cardboard boxes into your apartment as they can harbor roaches and their eggs. I know these things.
That apartment or room is about $850 a month. For a decent apartment there in Las Vegas you need to spend at least $1500 a month. And first, last, and security deposit should run about $5,000 up front to move in. You also have to have a decent credit score of at least 650, no evictions, and make around 3 times the rent in income.
How many guests or cocktail parties do you host there in your room Danny? If you are the only one who sees your sheets then it probably doesn't matter, does it? 😂
I detest dirty washers, we live in a resort but can't have our own washer. I bought what looks like a portable dishwasher and only use their dryers. I buy a light gray sheets because we have spiders, scorpions and roaches here. I also set off bug fumigators once a month to combat them.
That’s why they cross poodle with other bread. As poodles do not shed. Many of the dog crossed with poodle do not shed as well. Sorry Danny someone beat you to it
I Sleep In A Blanket and Jammes lol on My Chaise Lounge Most of the Time Anyway!! Then I Just Toss The Blanket in the Wash After a Couple Days..❤ Dewi in the Desert 🏜
Only wash white with white, you might want to spurge on some white PJ's or white underwear and wash it all at once. You can use bleach or some kind of white booster. ❤ I think it's time to find a rich wife!
Hilarious. Do you by any chance have gas dryers? I think they have a tendency to yellow whites after time. Also, don't be a cheap bastard... buy some good quality sheets.
You may only wash your sheets once a month, but who are the viewers to judge? We are here watching a video about you washing your sheets . So I think the viewers and you are all even. Thanks for the laugh tonight.

You need to use "blueing" to maintain a blue/white

Could never live in an apartment with roach problems

Use teaspoon of liquid blueing in the rinse cycle.
Maybe you should purchase a taupe or dark beige color. Check home goods or Marshall’s. Prices are much better
Light gray sheets are nice

I have one set of gray sheets. I wash, dry and back on the bed.

I know these things.
I think The Dude Handbook says washing sheets only once a month is necessary, and the Shroud of Turin look gives you extra dude credits. ❤
You shouldn’t trust anybody. Especially nowadays.
Hey DTM. We use Borax added with our regular detergent and they stay white and smell great. You need a lady in your life they know these things.
For a bachelor, a month is good 👍

Danny-you need to buy baby blue sheets. You can still see roaches, they don’t turn yellow, and they look good.No bleach required. So enjoy your videos.
Try mixing fabric with hot water and Oxy. Let soak 60 minutes then rinse.
I saw roaches crawling on your wall behind you. 3 of them.
musta been VIP.

Not sure you could handle Hawai’i with the B-57 size roaches flying around. 😂
There are many apts in Vegas where you can have your own washing machine
Start washing sheets and whites separately use a quarter cup of bleech in your laundry bleech costs like 1 dollar
You should change your sheets once a week, especially in the summer when it’s so hot out and you perspire
That’s why they cross poodle with other bread. As poodles do not shed. Many of the dog crossed with poodle do not shed as well. Sorry Danny someone beat you to it
I think you are having "one of those days", and a possible cold/flu coming on...hope you feel better DTM.
update: no cold flu!
How good is that oil. What else do you use it for other then light headaches ?
Doesn't make a good lube. 😂
There is a laundry product called blueing that will make it whiter. Bleach and blueing. My great grandmother swears by it.
What detergent do you use ?
A day in the life of DTM.
I wash my white bed sheets every two weeks and never had any problem with my white bed sheets turning yellow.
oxi clean laundry detergent.
I have tie dyed bed sheets and can never see any stains. Or roaches. 😂
Dude, I sleep on my sofa.
I Sleep In A Blanket and Jammes lol on My Chaise Lounge Most of the Time Anyway!! Then I Just Toss The Blanket in the Wash After a Couple Days..❤ Dewi in the Desert 🏜

Could it be that your dryer is too hot?
You are really digging the hole......... Karla in Cali.
And a kitchen in the new apartment?
get 4 bed sheets, change once a week. Wash once a month.
You can start out by buying beige color bed sheets, or use bleach in your wash for just the bed sheets.
or mabny YELLOW!
You may only wash your sheets once a month, but who are the viewers to judge? We are here watching a video about you washing your sheets . So I think the viewers and you are all even. Thanks for the laugh tonight.
BLEACH in the wash
I forgot to say in the video, bleach and me dont go well together, I used to use it, but it destroys the fabric way sooner than without...
8:38 "Private washer"!? I thought this was a food and travel channel show.
Night sweats...
Wok grease
I think DTM's medic experiences has taught him too much about stain colors!
😂
Going chronic over fur
No lady will sleep on your sheets😳😳😳
I will need to find lady with thick thick glasses.. then take off glasses!
No roaches back in New York? Is it because it is too cold? How about rats? Tell the truth. I can handle it.
no roaches becase I was in a new building that was built better than old ones, no way for roaches to get in
Cutie lol
Poodles and any crossbreed (w/ poodles) don’t shed. Only drawback is that they need haircuts….
is THAT why they make poodles have strange puffy balls of hair?
@ haha! Yeah, it’s exactly why they have puffy balls…
Hard water maybe.
211 apartments are way too small! u need a condo or a house ! course that cost u 500k in vegas?
Maybe I should watch the whole video before commenting
The answer is bleach
Just put a little Clorox and detergent it will smells really good
Just get yellow sheets then
You eat too much grease from wok!
that may be
Or maybe you should wash it weekly?
Made me laugh when you started commenting on pet hair. I know what you are talking about. I have a pet and his hair is everywhere.
You seem to becoming a drama queen
