I think it is because Momo is singing in her natural vocal range. If she is an mezzo soprano, or even a contralto like me, it would catch listeners' ears because lower timbres in women singing pop is rare. Especially if she's a contralto. Having to sing her parts in Twice songs constantly in the soprano range would come off nasally at best and shrill at worst. Hopefully she'll get more chances to show off her natural singing more often.

Also, cover songs are a bit tricky and though the members did a good job I don't think a cover release would go over will with many Shawols since many are protective of Taemin and his music.

She definitely is talented and continues to improve. When she competed in Hit The Stage, she was too young and didn't have enough experience. If they ever bring the show back I would love to see her compete again because I think she would do a lot better

I'm not really a Once, but credit must be given where due! Momo in my opinion is one of the best if not the best female dancers in Kpop. This is not to put down other main girl dancers. People like Seulgi and SinB are for sure talented, but what makes them shine more is actually their charisma. If you look at Momos moves, they're controlled, passionate, and fluid.
