The meme of Cimo being incredibly lucky and impossible to beat still lives on and even overshadows the "singles guy" image he had before In 2Prog2Series there's some banning, there's chance to pull things from reprints, but in Prog 1 there was only TERROR. People never fully understood the power Raigeki, Heavy Storm, and Snatch Steal had on the series. I have to give it to Gage; I would've been bitching about banning those cards after 5 episodes if Cimo had them and I didn't. Absolutely busted and shaped the entire series. Ironically, in the sequel, Gage is the one who, if there were no bans, is set up for insane success. His Raigeki is gone after 3 episodes whereas Cimo maindecked it for 81... The bans will keep things closer and more interesting, but it's insane how imbalanced the original series was and how everyone pretended their luck evened out because Gage got 2 CED and DAD, which aren't even that good of cards given the ruleset they were using and the context those cards were used in.

Did Cimoo really win the first 12 episodes of the series ? Like did we really sit through 3 months of him clapping Gage over and over on the back of getting better staples in the first 3 ep's ? God how did we enjoy this series ?
I feel like Gren Maju should have atleast been mentioned as well since it was technically the only deck (we know of at least) that went 4-0 in one week of prog

I feel so bad for Gage honestly. Cimo probably approached him with this super cool new idea and he was probably really excited for it. Then he proceeds to get absolutely dunked on for a year and a half and becomes a giant meme in the community.

Let's just hope cimoo doesn't pull amplifier in ancient sanctuary and skill drain in dark crisis so he can turn off literally the entire game.
