Excellent video, I’m going to look at the price of the Ascend 133, now. Thanks for keeping the background music low so I can hear you. Looking forward to the rest of your videos.
That front deck looks like it is going to flex way to much once you have under power - just lifting + lowering motor it deflects like crazy. You should make a plate shaped like deck that goes right back to where the deck takes a 90 degree down / install under deck to sandwich things together
There is another video on RUclips somewhere where a guy makes one out of aluminum. I’m actually getting mine set up tomorrow and I took a 18x24x3/4” cutting board and cut it to shape then I took my router and cut 3/8” deep around the mounting area so the board would set flat all around the front. Then I’ll drill it and bolt it in place. I’m thinking 3 bolts on the back edge, 2 midway up towards the front and 4 through the mounting plate. Might do all 6 through the mounting plate.
Great job keep up the great work
Thank you!

Thanks!
thanks for the video. how deep should shaft goes when deployed?
A good rule of thumb is at lease 12" below the water. From there you can adjust to your liking and the underwater obstructions.
@@BayAreaFPV thanks! I was watching ur other video while u replied me! 👋

@@jonathonhayes4990 great idea -that should work !
Quick question. Did you need the plate on there to drill the holes? Does it use the holes that are threaded
