All that talent and he was so young. He is a musical genius. Love your reactions! I enjoy watching you appreciate good music! Stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
They'll be talking about him as long as they talk about music. Someone mentioned The SteelDrivers. Check out Can You Run, which is in the bluegrass tradition of Civil War slavery songs -- a fabulous song written by Stapleton and Mike Henderson.
You need to check out the PBS Tiny Desk Concert series. Stapleton and his wife did several songs, all acoustic. My favorite “Whiskey and You” was one of them.
It's a THING by country singers to get together and sing like this. Actually it is a countrified thing. My grandmothers family still do this in the 2000s bringing instruments and taking turns singing..
This was done on a songwriter cruise in 2006. I think he sang 3 songs, he was fabulous back then, so suprised he was overlooked. He is so talented as a singer and songwriter, no one compares to his emotion and soul that he brings to his audience.
Definitely has that Ray Charles feel to it. But, when he breaks down the word “use” that is a classic Jorge Jones style. That’s the great thing about him. So many gifted artist he has pulled from that bleeds into his music and he still wraps the song up leaving no doubt that it’s a Chris Stapleton song. Incredible talent.
He also was in a bluegrass band named The Steeldrivers. So many good songs with them. Please react too Sticks That Made Thunder or Either Way a chris solo release. Or any! No bad songs
Damn right! Love CHRIS STAPLETON!!! You would really appreciate his song "BARELY ALIVE" its under his band name at the time was (JOMPSON BROTHERS), more of a Country Rock Twang one hell of a vocal performance on the Barely Alive track. Make sure you do the studio session you will love it
As many of your reactions as I've seen, we really should be listening to someone else reacting to You singing as well. Many people can react, very few can do it themselves... That's why I enjoy your reactions so much.

Thanks for uploading! If you have a minute, I've been recording some original acoustic songs. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on my page. Hope you enjoy.
All that power and he is just chillin' in a deck chair. No problem.
One of the few people in the world that could accomplish that
I have got chills all over me!!!! His voice is just from another damn world!!!! It’s unreal!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
Amen!!
I love how he belts it out but sitting there like it’s Sunday breakfast
That man can sing any of my blues away!!!!!!
All that talent and he was so young. He is a musical genius. Love your reactions! I enjoy watching you appreciate good music! Stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
Keep reacting to Chris. I’ve saved every one of your reactions to Chris. Love him so much and seeing your reaction to that live makes my day!

Chris is timeless. Be like Chris.
Chris is his own genre....
He said his influences were Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Freddie King. This is the most country sounding song I’ve heard him do.
It's awesome that he just sits there chillin and killing that song that way, great reaction.
It's a THING by country singers to get together and sing like this. Actually it is a countrified thing. My grandmothers family still do this in the 2000s bringing instruments and taking turns singing..
Oh my God! That was soooooo good!!! Thanks
my favorite song of his.
This was done on a songwriter cruise in 2006. I think he sang 3 songs, he was fabulous back then, so suprised he was overlooked. He is so talented as a singer and songwriter, no one compares to his emotion and soul that he brings to his audience.
Back when he was a diamond in the rough. I heard Ray Charles in this performance.

They all sit and stare in astonishment! Only Chris Stapleton can do that!
The guy you see initially is Al Anderson who wrote the song.
"Is that Chris Stapleton?! He look like my co-worker" 😂
He also was in a bluegrass band named The Steeldrivers. So many good songs with them. Please react too Sticks That Made Thunder or Either Way a chris solo release. Or any! No bad songs
This is from a bluegrass cruise. I believe Chris was singing with The Steeldrivers at the time and they are having one epic jam.
This was done in early 2011 before he blew up, he is just so good he just stands in one spot in concert and sangs! His concerts are insane!!
This was in 2006.
Chris Stapleton from Sandy beaches cruise 12 is fire !!! Look at it
Really good reaction. I agree with everything.
Can't stay still or quiet either. Feeling that music!
hi singer, just want to bring a group you never heard of to your attention! St Paul and the broken Bones!! right up your alley!!!
Did anyone catch that George Jones rif he did? I love it.
Yes I did, did you know back in the early 80’s George Jones sang Tennessee whiskey!
@@sheiladaniel633 Yep sure did! Chris's is far better to me anyway. Different time.
Soul man Chris

THAT'S HOW YOU SING THAT ONE!!!!!
Love this !
This was a songwriters conference
This was a songwriter’s cruise. Long time ago.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Check out "Surrender" by Elvis.... Great vocals!
Chris stapleton is ray Charles reincarnated
From the other room I could have sworn I heard Ray Charles. But naw.... It was a young Chris Stapleton. WTH!!!
He sounds a bit like old Willy Nelson in this one. Nice.
Check out Marc Broussard. Seriously. In the same realm as Chris as a singer.
👆this!
If that woman don't fool him again after that throw the whole woman away!!!!
Wish I could like your comment a thousand times!

Hold me is good too
I would love for you to react to this song: ruclips.net/video/gj1yxZw2O3E/видео.html
I think you will enjoy it. I love watching your reactions.
Helpful tip people don’t like reactors that copy what the singer sings every 3 or 4 lines. It’s annoying and has no point
