    I was sold on getting one and after seeing your video I'm not so sure now. I think that most of the tones are rather cartoonish. These are rather easy to find on the used market but might be difficult to find in stores. It's in the stores that you can play them for a while to see if you like them. Nice presentation. Thanks for shooting and sharing.

      The internal out of the box tones are pretty lo fi, you could juice up some of them with a good FX Pedal you run through an aux on the backside.
      However I only use it as. MIDI Controller because it has a large keyboard.
      But even as a Midi controller, it is not touch sensitive, lacks an arpeggiator and a few other things.
      It is basically a nice toy for practice until u can afford something better or a budget midi keyboard for those who dont care about a lack of bells n whistles.
      I still have mine and use it. It still works unlike 3 other midi keyboards which failed over time.
      Best of luck!!

    I believe this is good for beginners who wants to learn piano, for practice and at the same time, it can be used by professionals who makes game songs (like Mario), kids gingle songs, cartoon tunes (like Looney Tunes). But this is not for serious music instrument used by bands or professional composers. This is used to have fun and enjoy music. I've bought one online (red one) and excited to use it.❤❤❤

      Right. Definitely not live!! Haha. I use it as a midi controller. I like that its not touch sensitive. Although an arpeggiator would be nice. For the price its hard to beat!!

    I love this archaic music tech.

    Cheap, low cost synth... It a testament to the fact you don't need the best equipment to make music.

      Not 100% sure. But in each Product listing it will say if it is Mid Capable... And have the Usb jack. I would assume most of them are.

      It looks very similar. Similar price. Not sure if has a Midi Port. Slightly cheaper though. It is better than nothing. Probably sounds ok with Good Headphones. Those cheap speakers never sound very good.

    Hi, do CT-S200 has touch response?

    • @newcastlemusicstudios
      @newcastlemusicstudios  3 года назад +1

      No.. Not like the average midi player. When you hit a key... No matter how hard or soft it only has 1 key response.

      It should pick up the usb connector for midi input preferences in the daw. It picks up mine just fine. In Bandlab.
