- MBE or Mite Break Everything is a mod based on Chinas hardest mod, Mite. The aim is to make the existing gameplay harder while also adding in new things like tiered crafting, smelting, and new mobs to try and kill you even faster. Your goal is to enter multiple dimensions, kill multiple bosses, obtain an end game item and finally unlock the end to win. Most of the information about this mod is in chinese and the translations arent always accurate so you need to figure a lot of stuff out yourself.

i mean, i know the reason is that terraria and minecraft are fundementally different movement wise. crazy bosses in minecraft would need to be like the old school raid bosses, but its also pretty cool what people have accomplished in minecraft with the limited tools miencraft offers being a voxel game. terraria and minecraft mod devs have always been built diff, but recently they have really been stepping it up a notch.

@Zilla1God climb Mount Everest but it's actually pretty easy once you get climbing gear the caviat is just that if you fall 5 feet you die instantly and get teleported to the bottom of the mountain if you get unlucky
honestly, this mod actually seems like a huge improvement over regular MITE. yeah it's a bit more difficult, but the spawnable structures, new mobs, sleeping on the ground, sieve, an actual english patch and so much more... this seems kinda fun ngl :D

it's a bit unfortunate they decided to leave "sit in the crafting window and wait" as a mechanic but at least the auto table kinda makes up for it
if you look frame by frame at 3:40:14 with the egg, the egg doesnt destroy the torch, the water destroyed the torch right before the egg landed on it, so you should be able to get the egg normally no issue, you just had bad timing
I find it funny how the game spawns you further from home each time you use a portal, probably just to force you to use those waystones you totally forgot about lol
Placing a portal above bedrock will teleport you to a Raider Camp, which is a fixed process.
One trick is to place a portal above non-bedrock in the main world (including underground) to teleport you to the world spawn point. There is also an in-game item that can change the world spawn point. After using it, you can set the spawn point to your home, so that you can teleport directly to your home. Therefore, when you are too far from home, you can bring obsidian to create a portal anytime, anywhere, and teleport directly back home.
The element Obsidian is responsible for inter-dimensional teleportation.

What i remember from my MITE attempt, and something to keep in mind if you ever do ANOTHER version of this, is that dandelions are really good food source early on. Make a few bowl, grab as many dandelions as you can, and make salad. It is easy to get, and for that it is a good source of plant nutrients.

As someone who lives basically surrounded by desert, I'd like to mention that it typically does get cold at night even during warmer months due to lack of humidity to hold temperature. Also at times of year besides the summer it can get kinda cold even during the day, though it's somewhat unpredictable. One day it'll be a high of 70 next it'll be 50. It doesn't really ever get below freezing at least where I live, not very often anyway.

You build a portal to go to the underworld, you have to build another portal NOT on nether bedrock just to get back, you make a portal on nether bedrock just to get to the nether, you build another portal in the nether to get you back to the overworld in some random location nowhere even close to where you've been before.. THEN lastly you make ANOTHER portal from there just to get back to your spawn. Crazy overcomplication just for the sake of overcomplicating lmao
No, no, no, there's actually an easier way, but he didn't find it and chose the hardest way to play. If he had learned about this mod in advance, the gameplay wouldn't have been so boring.

Bit of an observation but I think that "hint" book you found in the desert temple was just a weird poem or something about the ender dragon, just weirdly translated. I'm guessing based on the whole idea of serpents and climbing towers it's referring to the end pillars

@reenabalasarangi9331 Silica is what most (maybe all idk?) glass is made of, and obsidian is made when lava has silica in it. It changes the structure when it cools- making glass instead of rock! (though, it's still classified as an igneous rock) It's also very sharp (like glass lol) and reflective
@reenabalasarangi9331 Corrections to the gentleman above - obsidian forms with a lot of stuff in it. Trick is in rapid cooling of certain types of lava. IRL obsidian is actually very brittle but very hard, I mean back in the good old times multiple primitive cultures were foraging for the stuff and making very sharp and deadly tools just by bashing it with another stone or an antler. It is harder than iron, but it tends to crack easily which is perfect for cavemen to knap some spears from it, much like flint or some other silicate rocks. Even now there are some artisans making some neat knives and blades from it. Minecrafts version of obsidian is ve-e-e-ery far from accurate.
Long story short, obsidiand isn't a regular see-through glass, but it is a volcanic glass. Brittle but hard.

Obsidian being some super-duper-hard material that is near impossible to mine/work with, is total and utter bullshit entirely made up by Minecraft.
It makes good material for primitive tools because shards of it are naturally very sharp, but its not easy to work with, since it cracks and breaks if you do as much as look at it the wrong way.
So yes, it does absolutely make sense that it takes shorter to mine than cobblestone

Unlike zombies, skeletons actually have a sense of self-preservation. They will actively seek out shade or water to avoid burning to death, unlike zombies who just let it happen (or maybe take cover by accident when wandering around).
and will walk backwards away from the player when attacking if the player gets closer!
Zombies do have that ai too, at least in current versions of the game
But for both mobs, hunting the player takes priority over staying safe - it's just that a skeleton can shoot from a safe location while a zombie has to fight with fisticuffs
