Dude said the cops were being sketchy like he wasn't the sketchiest mofo there
It's called "projecting". All criminals and shady af people do it.
that's called "projection" because he is aware of how much of a freak he is
projection and deflection
THIS!! lol
Two things can be true at once.
“This isn’t the way to New Mexico”
“You’ve passed like a dozen gas stations”
I love this cop
Damn this cop is very sharp. He points out all the discrepancies in the suspect's claims and picks it apart so flawlessly - all while being extremely calm.
He’s damn good indeed. Impressive.
He sounds smart and even handsome.
@Platinum907 😂😂😂
@Platinum907 is he handsome cuz I didn't see him
I also think he sounds very handsome
"I don't speak English" in the most American and smooth accent possible.
Yeah!!!🤣🤣😂
He didn't say he doesn't know English, he just claimed he doesn't know what smuggling is, which is actually possible, because you don't need this word in your everyday life.
@moretell bullshit lol
😂😂😂
i am american living in germany. when i want to avoid something i also say in english..i dont speak german. i speak english. even though i do speak german lmao..not perfect but i can speak it. sometimes it works sometimes not...because most people here do speak english..but not all..
"Do I look like the smuggling type?" Yes. Yes you do.
Very pro move for the cop not to answer that softball question
*holds pic of guy as example of "smuggling type" next to the suspects face* nods
And not even necessarily a human smuggler, I imagine some substance smugglers might have a similar look lol
I’m a shady looking guy and this guy makes me feel better about myself 😅
I hope he says that to the judge too 😆
“Do I look like a smuggler” yes, more than anyone I’ve ever seen
The guy was a creep. I wouldn't get in a car with him! As an adult I can tell what a creep he is!
"yes, specifically a child smuggler"
Yeah, apparently he doesn't own a mirror.
I'm just picturing a bunch of shady characters standing in a warehouse in a circle around a table of drugs and one says "alright boys, who looks most like a smuggler?" and everyone all points to one guy in the circle and then that guy is given the drugs and sent on his way
“If I asked AI to generate a picture of a human smuggler, the collective unconscious that humanity has bestowed on a computer would draw you to 99.9999% accuracy”
Just imagine for a moment how many cars with kidnapped children are NOT pulled over every day. This is so sick.
😢😢😢
Just think how many innocent people are pulled over for nonsense like something hanging from their rear view mirror.
@Waldschrat737 a 13 year old is not a child?
@Waldschrat737 did you finish the video? She admitted she was 13.
@Waldschrat737 She’s 13. She’s a child.
People think these little traffic laws are silly but this girl was saved because he violated a tiny infraction. Thank God.
@UmmuHajar7-xz6yy we should be okay with totalitarianism because more crimes would be solved? I mean yeah technically thats true but i dont want to live in a society where im harassed by road pirates on my way to work for minor infractions.
Only fools think the laws are silly ..
When I’m pulled over I’m extreme polite and cooperative, it definitely makes a difference.
The OKC bomber was caught because he didn't have a license plate
@firstnamelastname-kf5hu having objects hanging from the mirror is a crime, and endangers everyone on the road.
Living in the freest country in the world, and you’re complaining because laws passed by elected officials which make everyone safer are somehow infringing on your rights?
What is concerning is this was just a random stop. Makes you wonder how much trafficking actually happens.
It's unbelievable how many people around us are hiding something. Cops know that, and randomly pull people over and start digging.
If he had been meticulous about the car - no hanging objects, no speeding - and had stayyed on the main road, he would not have made the cops suspicious. Or if he had claimed that this is his sister. - She was lucky.
There are still over 300,000 minors that came across the border during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration who are unaccounted for. A part of why he opened the borders was undoubtedly for the purposes of child trafficking.
@franziskani Yes he could have been much more careful with his car’s suspiciousness, but if he was ever pulled over, the sister lie wouldn’t work, any good officer with real concerns would do identity checks anyway.
Well, him saying friend gave the cop probable cause to detain
"What grade are you in?"
"8th."
As a dad, this is horrifying.
I don't have kids and it's horrifying. I can't imagine how you feel.
I promise when I heard that, I looked at my daughter sleeping next to me and just started praying.
*As a dad that cares. Not all men with offspring are concerned. Thank you for being a good one.
Chills me to my core. My own daughter is the same age. 😢
As a mother and grandmother, this is horrifying. If they hadn't of investigated this & saved her, he probably would have become her pimp!!
"I know I have a missing 13 year old runaway hiding in my backseat under a blanket, BUT this has been blown WAY out of proportion."
😂😂😂 "You guys said it was because I had a bunch of things on my, my, my (insert weird finger movements), whatchamacallit, my, the thing you look to see behind you, umm, mirror", and then this stuff. I'm not comfortable!😠
"officer you are doing too much"
Yeah, they just pulled him over for stuff hanging from his rearview mirror, how dare they harass him about what he's got going on with a 13 year old.🤦♂
@Shadow__133 14:13 she’s actually 13
'Those condoms haven't even been used yet...chill bro...chill'....
This cop needs the highest level promotion! Well done sir!
He handled that perfectly.
No they don’t they are corrupted asf if that girl don’t want no help then let her bee
he was actually deputy of the year last year in Arizona, seems deserved!
High level promotion gets him a Political Position and that's one less GOOD OFFICER to do their job
People doing their job and you come up with "give him a promotion". What a joke
His hair style alone is a Felony in all 50 states, including Puerto Rico.
😂😂😂 accurate
😂😂😂
"Style" is pushing it. Im not quite sure whats going on
But HE thinks he looks good. 😒
😭😭😭
That's just a really close friend. How long have you known her? Ughh about 2 days. 😂😂
That part 🤣
That officer must've nearly passed out from the odor of the bullshit he was hearing.
“I think she’s from New Mexico”
Moments later: “She just said she’s never been to New Mexico”
@seanpellegrino2989 the guy was acting so suspicious the whole time. I could smell it through my phone speakers
Immediately came here to say the same thing.
Give this cop a promotion. His instincts and professionalism are incredible. If only all cops were like this.
A promotion the girl was hiding under a blanket act like no person is gonna check under the blanket to make sure that they’re OK Hello this is his job Promotion smh
But the way he went about it,the investigation as smooth.
No doubt. Unbelievable professionalism and control. People who have zero idea what the job is will troll and whine and cry...
@Asgard-1 did u watch more than the intro?
@Asgard-1 😂
1. She’s 19 but she was born in 2007.
2. She’s a close friend but you met her 2 days ago.
3. She’s a close friend but you don’t know what state she lives in.
Yeah, she'd be 18 tops. And she was 13. What a horrible dude.
Wow, I can just tell off the bat this officer is a 10 out of 10. The way he is handling the situation is textbook. Awesome.
@lronbutters5688 I wouldn't have answered any of his questions 🫣
@lronbutters5688 he was using his smooth seductive bedroom voice while asking this guy questions lol really worked on him
Solid leading of conversation , fact (or lies) collection and keeps Raul not making sense. Sharp officer. Well done, Sir.
he had a nice voice too
Nice glaze bro, get yourself some kneepads the next time to you glaze.
She has NO IDEA how blessed she is that she has been found.
Is she blessed? He never touched her and authorities brought her back to her home. She escaped from her home because she said she was being abused by her brothers
We don’t actually know if he touched her. They both could be lying
He wasn't charged with that because both of them said it never happened and there was no evidence that it did. You're finding him guilty of that without evidence. The guy is weird but it doesn't mean that he abused her.
@rock07879 😮
@rock07879 did she tell you that herself?? you would you even know
“You speak *verrrry* good English”
I love smith’s tone and delivery
Yeah I ctfu when he said his first language wasn't English. He doesn't even have an accent. I'm originally from PR also n English isn't my 1st language either. I'm 38 n came to the states when I was 10. My English is perfect n I barely have an accent (other than my Jersey one😂,). There is NO WAY I would ever even consider trying to use that excuse.🤦🏻♀️
Bravo Smith. You didn't let it go until you found the truth. You may have saved her life.
Yesss
@Regular.Traffic he just doesn’t have a vocabulary besides “dude, bro”
He gave us a mini stand-up show.
Even though this situation sucks, this is probably one of the happier endings I’ve seen from what I’ve watched of this channel. I’m glad everyone is still alive.
When someone almost immediately says "a really really close friend" and then follows that up with "met her 2 days ago", that checks out.
Not to mention the whole ID response. So, she doesn't have ID because "she's never shown any to me and I've never seen any"... yet you've known her for "two days" and are therefore bound to have intimate knowledge of whether or not this person possesses ID. Yep, that checks out and all.
She’s also “from NM” and then in the next sentence “wanted to visit because she’s never been here before”
I wonder if this is real, because her name and face was released...juviniles are protected under law.
I hope this is fake, for 'her' sake.
@nicholastaake4749 to my understanding they only need to withhold that info if said juvenile is being accused of a crime
Welp, he's about to face an even tougher question when he's locked up and his celly asks to see his papers
Poor girl was 100% being groomed online… I feel terrible for her and I’m soooo glad this cop was able to tell something was wrong!
Can you imagine the grief of her parents? Your 12 y/o ran away with a 31 y/o man and did it again a year later.
something not right with those parents
@sallyssonim never havin children becuz i couldnt deal with my child makin a choice like that, id go to the mental hospital
@noneyabusness357 its all based on parenring
@noneyabusness357 You have to teach your kids the dangers of online and meeting people
Nothing but love and respect for the man who told her they'll get her in touch with her parents *if that's what she wants*. That distinction is so important in these cases.
This is excellent police work. I’m glad that cop followed his intuition and kept insisting on the child’s safety
I think violated their rights though
She's 17. Not a child.
@reggiehowze1891 did you even watch the video she's 13 lol and 17 is still a child
@reggiehowze1891she’s 13 wtf is wrong with u
Face it, the driver seems like a creep with the girl in his car, wrapped in a blanket?
Why would an adult man want to hang out with a 13 year old girl if not for less than ok reasons? Absolutely sick
Exactly. What could they possibly have in common?
@thatguysilv video games, tv, weed, alcohol and whining about the world.
@deathntacoso nothing
He began speaking with her when she was just 11.
guys like them young, no questions asked...ask Trump and friends.
A really close friend that you just met 2 days ago. Great start.
Shhhh 🤫 lol. We gotta come together and help this man out this situation. He was just trynna land him some nice 🐱. This snitching cop ruining the whole plan lol.
Did you forget the internet exists 😂, could have a close friend across the world
They played fortnite before, duh
@BlackFaithProductionwhat?
who is from New Mexico but has never been to New Mexico
What a pervert. Glad he was caught.
I love this deputy. Very professional and intelligent
"Really close friend" "I just met her" is crazy
" I met her two days ago" 😆 🤣
All he had to say is "she's my daughter" or niece.
@L_Train Look like you prepare for that.
@L_Traintf kind of advice is that? creep!
“Do I look like a smuggler?” Is such an odd question to ask when you have an unknown minor in your car that you don’t want the police to talk to you
dude is a freak
Espescially when you do indeed look like a smuggler 😂
Sounded like he was trying to flirt with the cop lol
Putting a girl on the street, brings in $250,000 , till they end from drugs or self deletion! RIP in 30s!
@j.dunlop8295 thats why i like the borderline girls 😆
I hope they investigate her home life cause why does she feel comfortable enough to trust this man I believe something much bigger is going on here investigate her family.
I agree
I know !! I wonder !! That Also!! 🤔🙏🙏🕊️
Love how calm and respectful the cop was towards daisy. Helped her let her guard down. He seems patient and genuinely concerned.
Maybe he’s a dad. Or just a normal person but yeah he did a good job with the kid.
His voice sounded so sad when he said to cancel the face recognition and finger print scanner and that she's a missing juvenile, like he was trying to keep his voice steady so it didn't break as if he's about to cry 😭 I don't think I've ever heard a cop sound so sad
I am highly suspicious that this could be the way they take girls and get them into trafficking obviously, there’s police and people that work at the police station and child protection services. all involved in child trafficking!! I hope that if that young guy is innocent that somehow he gets free because they can definitely try to set him up!
@unisemendez677 whattt I 100% believe that the system is corrupt and officials are ded involved in trafficking, especially children, but how could you think this guy is innocent?? He has the girl?? Like are we watching the same video
@Ali-z4t9t. He did not violate her! They said it! And some people are just strange he thought it was an ok idea to bring her along on his travels!!!😮
I chuckled when he said English wasn’t his first language with absolutely no accent whatsoever
@MpcJ well you can learn english with an american accent (this guy was 100% lying but i just wanted to add)
Everyone has an accent though...?
@tinaffablethats not true lol my dad came from Vietnam at 13 to the US during the war, if you didn’t know him and talked to him on the phone you would think hes a well spoken American born white dude😂😂 and speaks Vietnamese everyday to this day
Under a certain age, your primary language can be difficult to identify because you learned English at a young age.
@NickSimRacing he would have an American accent then 🤔
Everyone has an accent but many don't realise until they go to a different country. This is often seen a lot with Americans, probably because the 'neutral' accent or voice in most mainstream media is actually a standardised American accent.
Edit: btw it's not just Americans, I'm Australia and sometimes I think I have no accent but then I realised the second I talk in another country they'll quickly tell I'm not from there 😅
One of the most likeable officers I've ever seen on this channel. Doesn't even sound like a cop at all but he maintained absolute control constantly
I agree. He was very impressive. Seems like he works undercover.
AZ has good law enforcement
Yes! Sounds like a good guy with a good head on his shoulders.
Probably x- Military.
@DonLicualaYou mean of KY Jelly packets for him in jail right?
@casparfraser2336 True professional
When a girl of 13 is a multiple time runaway, there is a serious problem at home. She's signalling she needs to get out of her house and away from her parents.
She was lured away.
That's usually how grooming happens. The parents head of the household have failed and are open so then the devil can come in and steal the children basically.
this is actually false. I was young and I was fast and I remember being 13 and not caring about anything not every situation is the same sometimes there’s no problem in the home. Kids are always influenced by outside things friends, TV social media.
So true.
Or she's just headstrong and spoiled. I would normally think what you said is the case also but I personally know of a case where the 13 year old girl was just a spoiled headstrong mess. So yeah there was a problem with her parents and the problem was the mother couldn't say no and always gave in.
Can we talk about how good the officer is at his job? Guy gets a A+ calm, cool, collected
And an F for the cop who misheard him say that she was his girlfriend and and F to the cop who heard him say she was born in 2007 and 19, but even the officer didn’t notice the math mistake and correct him on the spot. They also lie about the dog altering to a drug other than weed which is interesting.
I’m all for this scumbag going to jail, but my god there was a lot of lies the cops told to make the investigation easier.
@purerubish They don't correct them so they can catch them in lies. That's a common tactic. It's entirely possible he really was that stupid but I'd doubt it considering he used it against him.
Yeah I'm not gonna praise cops, not ever. You can keep backing that blue line gang. I won't be.
@Mimmie420 Funny, I have never had a single problem with the police. They have always been helpful to me my entire life, and I am almost 70, so I don't understand the hostility towards them.
@Mimmie420call the thugs for help
When he said he felt "harassed" I HOLLERED. They were just asking him questions and not believing his answers. Dude has no idea what being harassed is.
11:47 Cops Reply: “You’re not being harassed, you’re being detained.” 👏😆
well he will find out in prison
Ah, but thats how he can pretend to be innocent and be the hero of the story in HIS mind. And I guarantee you, let him out, and he will have the girl seeing him the exact same way in a matter of days.
He plays the victim
"Come and see the violence inherent in the system!
Help! Help! I'm being repressed!"
Literally the calmest cop I’ve ever seen in my life
he should train other officers, that was great.
@colorbugoriginals4457 this. in control - but seemingly polite - attuned - questioning - living up to protect n serve
Well this is in a very calm situation though. I'd need to see him in an action scenario. He'd have to be able to turn it up to 100 when needed too, y'know?
@jamthemhloanbroker this stuff happens many times a day, cops doing good work. We often never see or hear of it because the bad stuff leads the news cycle. Not all are bad, most are good but all have the stank of the bad ones on them.
especially in a case like this, i wouldn’t be this calm when dealing with a disgusting person like this
She’s a really close friend. How long ago did you meet her? 2 days . Brilliant
What an amazing police officer!!! He was so thorough!!
@silent.sirens bro what are u talking about u make no sense. obviously this happens everyday but shes just saying this officer did a good job, some wouldn’t have been so concerned. be nicer.
@silent.sirens what's the problem with people expressing their opinions?????? tf
@alwaysdisputin9930 Dude do u hear urself right now? thats absolutely insane. yes cops have taken advantage of girls but this is in no way close to it. he was making sure she was safe and okay after a GROWN man kidnapped her for the SECOND time. there was no time to call parents he had to get her away from him. As for him saying lying is an offense she wouldn’t have told him the truth if he didn’t apply pressure. he probably saved her life. go touch grass
@Mohamed7mmm I'm not sure what that person said (although I know it must have been negative), they deleted their comment, but I appreciate you saying something!!
@raelynn4845 I'm not sure what this person said, obviously it was negative, they deleted their comment but I really appreciate you saying something back to them
That cop was EXCELLENT. This stop should be shown in police academy’s during their arrest & control portion.
No. He’s a snitch. He should’ve asked the dude for money to keep quiet and went about his business. Now you got this man in trouble for life. We should protest to free him.
@BlackFaithProduction Bait
@BlackFaithProduction 0/10 ragebait
@smol__A zero isn’t a realistic score. If you caught on, salute to you but to call it a zero is a 0/10 response on your behalf.
@dimkacrackerYeah I’m typically a 10/10 under those to catch a predator videos. This one I just did out of boredom. Not my best work but not my worst either.
I hope some investigations go into her home life. Running away twice at only 13 years old sounds like something is wrong at home.
Groomers turn kids against their parents
The report they showed on screen said there was physical abuse from her two older brothers which is why she asked the kidnapper to pick her up. I bet her home life is also a nightmare. Im glad they found her but im not sure home is where she needs to be.
abused at home, to be abused from her "very close friend". at least shes trained in it.
@BlueJeanBaby yes, but if you read the report they showed, she said her brothers abused her
@BlueJeanBaby having good parents means you ignore “groomers” in the first place
My daughter is in 8th grade. I tell her all the time not to talk to strangers online and tell them where you live. I show her these videos just to prove to her people do not have the best intentions for her. Keep you children safe. Parent controll everything
Saying “I did the math wrong” is crazyyy work
SOME FOLKS CONFUSE METH With MATH 😂
@normanbrown9225no they never do the meth wrong. Lol
It was a simple mistake that anyone could have made. You've never miscalculated a tip on a bill? It's basically the same thing
13 , officer I am dyslexic and I can't do math 😂
He gets an "F" in math!
Saved her life. She has No idea how lucky she is!
The truly sad thing is she has run off with the guy multiple times and he had already been to prison for it at least once with a separate case pending.
I have sadly seen this kind of thing before with my cousin who at 16 got pregnant from a 34 year old guy.
Mind you this was after years of people intervening and her swearing up and down "nothing happened hes just a friend".
Of course, after getting her pregnant he kicked her to the curb for another stupid teenage girl. After that she told the cops that they had been doing it and with a pregnancy it was pretty open and shut...However, the cops took so long that he simply returned to Mexico and faced zero consequences.
There's three parties at fault in these kinds of situations:
The predator who pursues young, stupid, rebellious girls.
The legal system who doesn't drop the hammer on these kinds of obvious interactions.
And the young girls themselves.
And all the trauma he’s saved her from.
Im pretty sure they'll end back up together
She's been groomed to not answer in complete honesty. That's the really depressing part that she thinks he's a good person and doesn't want to ask for help
@atanorio this exactly. This dude is definitely a groomer, sick bastard. I hope they can get this girl the right help to see that now and break the cycle, or she will continue to gravitate towards this type of relationship/dynamic. A dear friend of mine was groomed from the time she was a teenager by her future husband (now ex). She just broke free and sent his ass to prison a few years ago when she found out he'd started grooming another teenage girl.
Thank God for this officer's intuition. His alertness and quick thinking helped find a kidnapped child. Well done officer.
Well I wouldn’t say she was kidnapped
@kiya2586 I mean she was.
... yeah because it takes God and intuition to realise "this is just one of my very good best friends" and "I just met her 2 days ago" are suspicious statements to make about someone who is given the birthdate of being 17, who likely looks way younger, and is with a 32 year old man.
@kiya2586she’s not old enough to make those decisions, so yes. I’d say kidnapped. He didn’t get parents permission either.
God had nothing to do with it
Brilliant work by the cop who stopped him. Very professional and great process of investigation.
The officer that talked to her...dude..he is awesome..when he said ur 17 I'm not letting u leave with HIM..that was like a hero FR
17 years old isn't too young
Well no shit... what do you expect?
well yea thank God we found out she was 13 which IS young…
@briancannon3987 "17 years old isn't too young"
Arizona's age of consent is 18. So when she claimed that she was 17, that alone gives the cop the reason to not let her continue on with him.
@briancannon3987 Yes, 17 is to young especially in this case where the man she was traveling with had been grooming her for two years since she was 15 and he was 30 thats gross. She shouldnt have been introduced to him at all, I'd question the older brother too cause you should protect your sister and he clearly didn't.
*This man was born to be a cop! Great detective work, and his questioning to uncover this case was amazing!*
He was in dad mode as well.
No good job by girl for telling that he is family and she didn't know what he was doing that's what opened up everything... good job by girl for speaking up not the cop.
@stormshadow3650 bro, literally no one cares about u, stop talking
@stormshadow3650 if it were for the cop she wouldn’t of had that opportunity so good on the cop for doing a job well done 💯
@Mas-Skeptical Nah, that's bringing it out of proportion. Tough love is sometimes necessary in order to make sure the truth comes out. In this case she wasn't going to be in trouble to begin with, and her kidnapper definitely did not have her best interests in mind either way. it went better than it could've gone for sure
I worked on a human trafficking task force team with a local advocacy center, and it was so hard to get those young people help because those predators twisted their minds up and they were not cooperative with law enforcement and would often go back. I hope he gets at least 25 years.
Trauma bonding.
It's hard for most people, including me, to understand what grooming is. You probably know better than most.
I imagine it's like the pimps you see in movies, who have an inexplicable hold over the women he has working, and they often defend him, because he provides their basic needs and they've become his dependents, established a routine, and believe they have nowhere else to go.
Predators recognize lost girls and see them as easy to abuse
I paused the video on one of the screenshots of the police report. The young girl mentioned physical abvse in her home. She said that's why she left. 😢
I love how people jump to conclusions without evidence. This girl was being abused by her two older brothers at home. That's why she's run away multiple times. For all we know, the cops are sending her back to be traumatized further and this man was the only thing standing in the way. Is it also possible that he's grooming her and having relations with her? Sure, but there's no evidence to support that yet.
He needs life in prison without the possibility of parole. No exceptions.
I love this cop’s tone of voice and the way he approached these two.
Very True Detective
He has a beautiful voice
He's doing vocal fry to come across humble and down with the kidnapper. He sounds like he's part of The Californian's SNL sketch. 😆
Officer Smiths voice is melting me!
@lolah3838 Hey Daisy, wuwuter you doin here??
Imagine being taken to jail for kidnapping a young kid and you have the audacity to play the victim.
The thing is she probably was lying and he probably was left in the dark about a lot of details. They really do seem to just be ‘hippies’ traveling.. unfortunately for him I don’t think he knew she was 13
@justynamaria0333 Yeah, and he probably thought her teddy bear was just her friend. The guy 100% knew he was with a minor.
@justynamaria0333 he must have known. He was her brothers friend and that's how they met, I find it hard to believe he never knew she was underage.
Dude looks like the smuggliest smuggler to ever smuggled smuggles.
Raul, "I think she's from New Mexico."
Also Raul, "She said she wanted to see New Mexico. She said she's never been there."
bingo! Cop knew right then that he was lying!
@MoonFlower52798 it went over his head. He mentioned “girlfriend” instead. Great job by the Law Enforcement altogether.
@jesusisgod2742 I think it was more so that he caught him in one lie and was trying to get him to slip up again. You don't want to call him out on his lie and become confrontational while he's still talking.
lmaooo I didn't catch that
@anonemous1046 came to the comments to see if anyone else caught that! I got to the part where he said “she said she’s never been” and I was like waaaaiiittt a minute . . . had to go back to when he said “I think she’s from New Mexico” to make sure I heard him right!
I really like how straight forward the cop was. Super calm voice too just no BS.
Fr!
@tylerweatherbee9180 I agree, I have watched him in other videos. He is so good because he tells everyone he has been doing this for over 25 years.
He was already in prison for kidnapping the same kid? Lmaooo our Justice system man. Wow
He was probably ordered to stay away from her, but you can see how much he cares about the law.
Massachusetts, no bail bullshit. Now he's going to Alabama. I hope he gets an old school judge.
Bc he did not kidnapped her. She went willing. A Good lower would get kidnapping, but I Guess he has a better lawer.
@margarita9520shes a minor, hes an adult... her willingness does not matter. He had no legal right to take her across state lines without parental permission
that fool needs to go back to prison & stay there that kind of creep need NO junk area & the judge sure be told if they let that kind of creeps out that rape kids they be fired & jailed
Imagine saying your traffic stop was “out of proportion” when you had a reported missing child, an existing warrant outstanding and drugs in the car.
This officer is a class act, no ego, calm, collected and even his tone of voice was as smooth as butter. He is a credit to his force.
@davidspencer2079 i came to the comments to say the same thing! The voice of the officer is so calming and nice! I wonder if anyone knows his name. He looks like a real good cop!
Now these bodycam footage are all over RUclips we actually see what cops go through on a daily basis, they are only human the mainstream media treats them as if they are all the same, a different breed or something, they only want to show what bad cops do, in any profession theres bad people, we have bad evil doctors yet the majority are good, we don’t push the narrative that they are all bad because a few are, so many people would never be able to handle being a officer for a day, the abuse they face from the disrespect they get is insane, these videos prove it, we will always have exceptions, so many people just do not like authority, are taught the police are bad constantly, many now don’t want bodycams! If you follow orders, be respectful you won’t face issues, when I was growing up if I spoke to a cop the way so many young people do I’d be in huge trouble, if anyone doesn’t believe me just want the interactions
@Manotheginger definitely one in a million. What a cool guy.
Official vocab guidelines dictate we should call it the 'service'.. force sounds too aggresive
The officer was seriously skilled about his questions. Destined to be a detective at least.
Destined to be an asshole who infringes on people's right no matter how sick the person may be! getting pulled over for objects hanging from a review mirror is NOT RIGHT!
@jasonjaxxson in some states, including where I live, it’s a law to not have anything hanging but government issued objects. This officer was great.
@jasonjaxxson smuggler:
I’m saying! AGENT SMITH! 🤣💯🙏🇺🇸
@jasonjaxxson…but… it’s legal. 🤷🏻♂️
13:20 if she's running from a bad situation, she's running to a worse situation 😞
This is my point, why are her parents even allowing her to talk to a 30 year old????
@Julespotatoyou do know kids sneak around? Trust me you do t know EVERYTHING your child does. Nobody does. Stop sounding foolish
@Julespotato Maybe they don't know.
@Julespotato what a stupid thing to say
@KyFiGzwho pissed in your cheerios? 😂 Jokes on you, I don't have any kiddos.
This came out a while ago but had to comment that this cop is amazing. No-nonsense, transparent and smart.
Right!!
She's just a really close friend, who probably lives in NM, who he met two days ago and he's bringing her to NM because she's never been there. Makes total sense.
sybau
@M-16A182 🤣
No really this caught me up
It's flat there. How can one resist?
Makes no sense he’s caught red handed with a child so sad
How rude of the police to find drugs and a kidnapped child in his car. The audacity! 🙄
It’s just inconsiderate, is what it is.
😅
Right!? I mean, how would they like it if he went and found drugs and a kidnapped child in their car?
All because of a couple hanging trinkets! "Completely blown out of proportion", he says...
they need to federally ban that “ obstruction of view” rear view mirror law.
it’s literally made just so they can pull anyone passing through when there is no other probable cause. This is like the 5th video i’ve seen them use it. Unconstitutional af.
How dare the cops for taking him to jail on warrants. Plus for being married and traveling various states with a runaway stranger age 13 girl.
No matter how much coaching he did, kids will always end up telling the truth when approached the right way. I'm glad this sicko got caught!
Most professional cop i ever fkn heard
Incredible officer. He did a great job and so smart and calm.
he is so smart I was impressed
Not really they was both too dumb actually, it was obvious to blind person something was off about them
@ZEUS-d1i you can’t convict someone because of a gut feeling, evidence contributes to tht hence the interrogation on body cam.
Excellent officer super professional
@ZEUS-d1i yeah right Mr Couch Potato knows everything from a video he's watching where everything was told is gonna happen in the beginning
I love how calm this officer is. No escalation, no accusations, just good police work. I wish there were more like him.
He was incredible, asking the right questions, not being adversarial to get the maximum amount of information and self-incrimination nonsense out of the suspect. Just his instincts about asking questions about a passenger whose head is under a blanket.. what a great cop. Saved a child and with this incident, will put a predatory child molestor -trafficer away for years. Imagine the relief of her parents. This guy staulked her in an online game at 11 years old. Served jail time for kidnapping her once and then re-commits the same crime. Just odious.
And most of them wish there were enough of them to cover the populations of their precincts to take this kind of time and patience. Never judge them until you have walked in their shoes. We have two police officers in the family, down in Florida and they are always short staffed to cover their cities.
@aprilroston3608 There are loads of great cops but unfortunately RUclips is awash with set up situations specifically designed to make law enforcement look bad.
A great deputy 😊
There isn’t just one in the whole country or world trust me. They’re just not all on social media incl YT. Hard to believe but true. ; )
Everyone talking about how this dude is terrible but nobody is talking about the fact that something is seriously wrong with this little girls parent situation.
I had the same thought
This.
who cares that’s a whole other situation, that doesn’t take away from him being a complete scumbag
@__Talia__i care because it’s not a “whole other situation”. this girl has ran away from home TWICE with a 32 year old because something is going at home & it’s bad. justice for her.
Maybe she’s just a kid that doesn’t respect authority. The fact she met the perv through her brother and kept contact through playing online games tells you that she might have problems with following parents rules. It’s not always the parent’s fault. Hopefully family seek family counseling to help girl to understand parents care about her and her safety.
Cops like these men show that not all are bad people.
She’s one of the blessed ones. Many aren’t this lucky.
My first thought as well
She's been running away for years now...she'll be back with him in no time.
I'm trying to understand "WHY" human trafficking is such a thing. So many sick people. Mostly men. This is so Sad.
Whats making a 13 year old leave home first of all. Investigate the parents.
Unfortunatley I see the pair of them staying in contact with each other & as soon as he's out of jail she'll more than likely "run away" with him or another predator, again! Silly, silly girl, BUT
surely the parents knew when she went missing that she'd more than likely be with him again, & it's not as if the parents didn't know his name already, all the adults in this 13 yr old's life need to be "looked" asap!
This cop has the most soothing, therapeutic voice I've ever heard from a cop.
i'm high as hell and i was lowkey just thinkin that LOL
felt like I'm hearing asmr cop roleplay when he sat down in his car to question her 😂
I had no idea that a voice could heal anyone. That's some real crazy talk, man... you have to be high as a kite
@Travelling..Bottle..Digger if you don't understand frequency and vibration then I suggest you look it up.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Casually, lie, after lie, what a sneaky individual. Dangerous character.
Thank you police officer. As a father, this is my worst nightmare. I’m so glad there are cops like him out there!!
It's your worst nightmare yet you never know where your children are. Make that make sense father 🤨
@constantinvaldor3742 what an odd response.
When she said she was in 8th grade , as a parent this makes me feel sick 😢
@constantinvaldor3742your mother should not ingest things while you were in her belly but here we are
It may have been in this case to save the girl but these officers were shit. They completely faked a car search and they kept questioning him after he asked for a lawyer. I would never trust a cop that say''s "it'll go so much easier if you tell me the truth".
The girl was smarter with her answers than he was. Why would you say 2 days ago??
"The whole situation got completely blown out of proportion... I don't feel safe with you all" OMG. Raul you perv.
They have phone now in jail i hope they watch ewu from time to time 😅
Thats the way to handle it police aren't your friends.
@theglizz5797 they got everything in jail but their freedom lmao
Tan Trash - despicable
No sir, this got blown completely into proportion 😂
He already went to prison for it?? Lock him up 10x as long this time
For what? All he did was give her a ride. And not the metaphorical one. I mean, he's a fool for sure, but what's the actual crime here? Driving underage girl around on her own free will?
There is an obsessive quality about this.
@ФеофанЭтополедолжнобытьзаполне Let's be real, he did more than just transport her. Sadly, he wasn't charged for Pedo crimes.
@ФеофанЭтополедолжнобытьзаполне he’s not her guardian. He can’t just take her out of state and across the country
She is a minor, and is not able to legally consent to it.
It’s kinda weird you don’t seem to have an issue with a grown man taking a child around on vacations
@shaneh7519 I clearly stated that it's nothing to be proud of, you just decided to ignore it. My point, however, is that I don't see what the actual crime is. What, murican state border are like country borders, you can't cross them or something? Are there checkpoints, maybe, when he was force to hide the teen? Explain in in terms of codex if you could.
Proud of how our AZ Officers handled this stop!
@alwaysdisputin9930 right? She obviously didn’t want to go back home. People always assume the worst lmao these cops and cop lovers are psychos. Pulling someone over for dangling things on their headlight? He just wanted a reason lmao
@alwaysdisputin9930 gaslighting her? She could have been charged with obstruction of justice (and failure to carry identification) if she would have continued lying to a police officer about who she is while he's working on a case.
Did I just read genuine griping about police on this video?
Please tell me the replies are parodies.
@Boomhauersdad You should be stopped. Are you serious?
"This is the kind of story that restores your faith in justice. It's terrifying to think how many missing children are out there, and a simple traffic stop can change everything. The relief the parents must have felt is unimaginable. This officer deserves a medal! 🎖 So glad this had a happy ending. Clicking immediately to see how it unfolded."
That cop’s demeanor was unbelievably chill. His voice was even soothing.

@Travelling..Bottle..Diggerbot finder 🎁
@rachellevel8982 No thanks, I don't accept gifts from strangers
Came here to say the same thing! His voice!
Cops are trained to keep their cool. They have to.
You can tell her age in her voice, she sounds like a little girl. Kudos to the alert officer/deputy for doing a good job.
I thought so too!
Sounds like a 12 year old boy.
Her voice was low pitched and therefore not like your average 13 year old girl's voice.
Amazing cop, he was so calm and handled this well. How truly blessed this child is; he saved her.
@marygreen1994 Absolutely. Saved her.
Imagine disgusting criminals actual knew how to speak to cops. This would be so much worse and harder to figure out.
Gosh, I LOVE the way the officer handled this dude from the beginning. He was calm as a cucumber and chose his words and progression in a way that was VERY well planned out.
He sounded cute, too. Loved his voice 😂😊
Cool, cool as a cucumber
I don't think it was well planned out he's just such a good cop he handled it off pure instinct. He seems well-trained and experienced.
This is incredibly disturbing. 8th grader girl with a 32 year old grown man in a middle of nowhere … 🤦♀️ wth
There’s no way there wasn’t sexual contact. They need to have her see a therapist
definitely statutory rape ….but not charged with it !!?!
She all ready saw therapist. He was the driver😳
@thiniceyellowhouse9 theres no evidence yet. You can be charged with a suspicion.
Exactly. Just like he coached her to lie about her real name.
pretty sure there wasnt
Some cops are really smart, intuitive and got flair, i love this cop's work !!! Thank you Officer for your service . May God bless you and Protect you and your family for the rest of your life . 🙏
This creep has a nerve.” I am not comfortable to talk to you”
Parents PLEASE watch what your kids are doing online. This is so incredibly common
This isnt the first time she ran away, something is going on at her home...
When a 13yrs old trust a friend of 2yrs more than their own parents and brothers. That means the parents needs to be looked into
@luishernandezzzzI work with kids who are like this in a psychiatric facility… kids are dumb. Sometimes it’s a bad family. Sometimes it’s not. These kids don’t realize how bad the internet can be. Sometimes when this happens parents are to blame for letting their kids untethered access to the internet. Kids do dumb shit. We know this. Watch your kids. Keep them safe.
@samlung2724 I agree. There's something going on for this child to keep wanting to leave home with strangers.
@Weasel27 she's from mass i think that says enough, the living conditions are horrific in most parts.
The cop who made the stop saved her life but has an impressive demeanor.. We need more cops like you! Thank you 🙏
Not sure if I'd say he saved her life however he put a stop to a pedophile messing with a child in a way no adult should mess with a child! I'd be willing to bet this isn't the only child he has groomed and been involved with!
Glad this didnt happen in California because the DAs would likely cut him loose and drop all charges and claim he was racially profiled!
Saved her life? lol )) 13yrs girl decided to have adventures and found a friend who is 32yrs old and has same 13yrs old mind. They were travelling together 8 MONTHS. Don't you think this is a bit too long time for a life threat. :)
Saved her life lmao
idk why but this feels racist
@INSANELLYx and im glad you're powerless, the world doesnt run on "Feelings"
"She's a close friend" "i don't know, I just met her 2 days ago". Got a genius here
This cop is cool and smooth AF. Great interrogatior
Probably one of the most calm , cool, and collected cops ever
Absolutely love this cop! He deserves an award for his service and dedication to doing such honorable work. God bless him and his team ❤ He had no ego. Much thanks❤
@hopesings4544 You know we're all cooked when officers doing their job how they're supposed to is getting them endless back pats and when they're celebrated to this extent...for just doing their job.
bot
@LonelyMuse-i4z what I'm saying💔
Agreed. I really loved how his voice went soft when he realized that she was lying and that she would not stop until he put on some pressure. I mean I could tell he didn't want to do it but did what he had to do. He let her know that he was so much on her side that he was even willing to arrest her to keep her safe. Real fatherly instincts in that guy.
Great job to the officers observation and saving of this child
Videos like this actually make me really have some newfound respect for the police.. It's comforting to know that cops like this exist. Beautiful handling.
Life changing save.
Kudos for the cops that made the discovery during this traffic stop.
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Yes! Finally, a happy story.
Definitely was not a routine traffic stop… they’re not just stopping people for stuff hanging from the mirror like that. Someone tipped this off.
@seffbones5655 they absolutely will in states where it's illegal. Leads to stuff like this. That's the good thing about those type of laws.
Dead right. Excellent police work there. Thing is, if you see people who don’t have respect basic laws, look a little closer and it’s amazing what you will find.
@paul227-u1pfacts🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those smart cops saved her life. I wish her a happier childhood.
She better be glad he didn't murder her.
So he met her when she was 11😳
@Shadow__133
You dolt, she is 13. Watch the whole video next time.
@sillypinkeweI did now, it's misleading.
Ew. 😢 He looks like a predator too.
@sillypinkewe No, he met her online through her older brother---two years prior to this incident, when she was only 11. Met through a couple of games, and they were communicating back then.
YOU are the dolt for not LISTENING to the whole video.
@jb6712 you responded to a guy who was responding to someone who didn't understand and then deleted their comment. You in fact are the "dolt"
extremely impressed with the officer
