one small correction. What we use in here is Gajalakshmi deepa .Lakshmi with both side elephants. But Actual kamakshi deepa is kamakshi devi( lalitha parameshwari , Rajarajeshwari) with Ankusha , pasa, in upper hand. lower hand 5 flower arrows and sugar cane. She is universal mother from her left eye born mahalakshmi and from right eye born saraswati devi .by worshipping her we get get both wealth and knowledge. You can see in lalitha tripurasunderi pictures Lakshmi and saraswati both fans and serve this kamakshi lalitha tripurasunderi amma. It's more auspicious keeping kamakshi lalitha tripurasunderi deepam than gajalakshmi deepam..
Very good explanation but I would like to say something When you said abt laabha naasta your counting is a little incorrect You should count only the pointed tips " "laaabha nasta " dont count the prabhavali It should start at laabha and end at laabha on both sides but dont count the prabhavali
