I just found your channel this morning and also watched part one on this topic. Many of the ideas you presented have been used for over 100 years. My parents told me their families practiced many of them and I have practiced them for decades. Glad young people still practice repurposing items.

That’s awesome! I don’t know if people are “still” repurposing, or if some of us are just now learning to do what what used to be the norm (It’s been a transition for me personally). But regardless, I get happy when I see others implementing sustainable habits into their lives. 💕

I've been using a water bucket for about 2 years. I told my parents and Sister and now they all do it too. That clean water shouldn't just go down the drain.
Edit: we do buy most of our fruit from the ugly section too.

That is so awesome! I love that you got your family members on board with the water bucket! It is such a precious resource. YESSS keep snagging that ugly fruit! It’s a shame how much the stores and farmers toss because it’s not pretty looking, even though it’s totally edible.

love these much easier to follow that the aesthetic. I don't have a lot money so I find it hard to follow those but I can defiantly follow yours.

Super interested in the banana tea idea! Do you only use it on outdoor plants?

    • @BeccaDoesStuffYT

Hello and thanks for watching! Great question. So far I’ve only used the banana tea for my outdoor plants, but I’ve heard you can use it as a leaf spray for indoor plants about every two weeks. If you try this, keep in mind that it has to be pretty diluted, and should not be used as a daily watering method. We use the tea - very diluted - once every few weeks. There can be too much of a good thing for your plants. 😉
