I’ve gotten into altercations over people wanting to eat crabs but didn’t put up … it gets serious in town … had a altercation myself with a family friend over this … this is a common issue that people don’t even think about it as being serious but if u from Baltimore … you know it’s real 💯💯💯💯

Jealousy can lie dormant for _years_ in people you least expect. I guarantee this guy has been jealous for years. This was just an opportunity for him to do what he’s been wanting to do for years. This is why as soon as a see the jealously and red flags, I’m cutting the “friend” off and I’m moving different. When people start secretly trying to compete with you, following you on social media and taking everything you say personal, spreading lies and gossiping, time to move on. Not saying this is what happened in this situation, but I guarantee there were red flags. Men can be just as jealous and overly emotional as some females. It’s sad. People like this will ruin their entire lives just to destroy you. They will plot, scheme, plan for your downfall. For us men, this jealousy is usually displayed in jest. A red flag you’ll see in a lot of guys is going to be done in jest. They’ll play things off in a playoff way, but as soon as you joke back, they turn it into something serious. They’ll start secretly competing with you, fighting imaginary ghost, they’ll jokingly tear you down in front of others and when you call it out, it’s “your being sensitive.” And please don’t let it be around a beautiful woman. They’ll crash out quick and make it their mission to _try_ to embarrass you in front of a lady. When that doesn’t work, they’ll sow seeds of discord and try to talk down about everything you like. Again, is this the case _all_ the time? No. Can homeboys joke without it being all this? Absolutely, but for some guys, this is the norm and it is a red flag. Stay alert. Keep that circle tight and those in it, make sure they’re solid. Job promotions, new relationships, taking trips, or just being low key humble, some people you have to let go of. You can’t share everything with everybody and you can’t let everyone in. Be cordial, be respectfully, but be wise.
