When the iPhone 12 Pro Max was released it was my first phone with a telephoto lens. It’s only in very recent experience that I am potentially thinking about getting an external telephoto to get optical bokeh. The portrait mode in the phone has limitations. You have to be close to a subject so full body shots don’t work nor does photos with more than 2 people. Also the subject has to be still as there is shutter lag in portrait mode so no good for taking photos of people doing a talk on stage. Other than those scenarios using an external lens is a hassle especially for event photography.
Question. How do these lenses affect the amount of light going into the sensor? If you were to use a manual camera app, does it increase the light going in because of the larger lens area?
I have a question. Can the 75mm be used just as tele 60mm? I know it’s a macro lens, but it’s also a tele lens. I have found 0 videos or posts about it, people shoot only macro with, but I need longer range than 60mm, and looking to buy just for the longer range if it acts as good as 60mm.
I didn’t test this actually, as it’s macro. I think it has a maximum focus distance of macro range so wouldn’t work long range. I don’t have the lens with me atm but I’ll test it in the next couple of days for you!
@@ItsTomRich thank you very much Tom! I am really interested in this because 60mm is not enough for me :/ I just want something better than f2.8 77mm on original lens
I'm still waiting for my product and have just been told (after several emails) there are 'delays' and they won't be shipped now till November. I've asked for a refund. Sadly, I think this might be a scam operation. Take care, folks!
Thank you for supporting us and we want to extend our apologies for your experience, and we understand your frustration. We are currently facing some unforeseen challenges with our suppliers, which causes some delays to our customers. As of now, we have shipped 74% of the orders and we're actively expediting the rest. Our team is committed to resolving this situation. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Why didn;t you show the animorphic lenses. :( imo those would make more sense than the standard ones. Also what happend to the Google Pixel giveway? did i miss it
I’m thinking about a part 2 with the anamorphic, the reason I didn’t show is I genuinely don’t use or care about anamorphic really but if lots of people ask about it I will make a follow up! The giveaway winner was announced :)
All backers be carefull! for the company shiftcam On the webshop they offer free shipping from a certain amount but they will charge you enormous amounts if you back them here. I did the biggest pledge and they now change me $275,00 dollars just for shipping. This is a scam that they are running. So you do not get the discount they offer here. They just charge you a lot extra after they completed in the form of shipping cost.
So are the content creaters the only ones who have these lenses? Ordered 3 lens combo beginning of August, was told sept deliveries, and now into October with lenses not available yet. They bill you immediately so lenses are already paid for.

I think totally depends on preference to be honest - I would certainly never recommend to buy these INSTEAD of a camera if you’re interested in shooting photos/videos and taking it quite seriously. This is just a great additional tool to improve the quality of the camera already in many peoples pocket I think it’s great
Been really watching a lot of these on the reels, seems worth buying.
smartphone photograph sure came a long way, now adays you can even do some pro photography with them.
Definitely

What about lens caps ... these apparently wont ship with them
Not to be critical but the apexel 60mm will run riots against this 60mm. Not to mention apexel 60mm costs like 1/3 rd
You might have either received money from shiftcam, or got to keep the lenses.
Force shiftcam to send us our pledges.
Great video and I love this place Brighton 😍
Very good comparison! Well done
I wish they had a case for the S22 Ultra.

These lenses act as adapters, so there is no light loss or light gain
is there a set for samsung s23 ultra?
Not yet, but think it might come!
How do they compare to moment lenses?
isn't the 75mm more versatile than the 60???

Did you find an answer in the end? I'm also curious to know if these macro telephoto lenses work on the telephoto end too?

nice video. I want so badly to know if the 60mm lens works well with insta360 flow.. will you test the insta360 little gimbal?
It will work with a small counterweight, they can be picked up cheaply on Amazon or from makers like Ulanzi
You are Amazing 🤩
Thanks for the support man
Do they make one for S23 Ultra?
Yes they have a universal adapter! And also they’re making a case for S23 soon
ooh that's nice!

Hmmm i see
They give color shift and the original photos on left look
Better to me. Would never buy.
Whole kit is like 1200 euro

Please compare the Sandmarc 58 mm and the LensUltra 60 mm.
Can you use the portrait mode with the lens attached on iPhone?
It is better to buy an old used camera, the quality will be many times better. And most importantly, it's more convenient.
