the best thing about Vixx is that the aesthetics are never just aesthetics, there's usually deeper meaning in them tied into their concepts! with this MV, there's a lot of symbolism behind the imagery, and since Shangri-La is said to be a paradise of nature and vibrant beauty, the aesthetics and colors used here actually tie in with each member’s birthstones/birth flowers :)

I'm glad you liked it! VIXX are concept-dols which basically means that each and every comeback fits a certain style from MV to visuals to dance all to tell a whole story. A lot of their videos are contained stories and while some are very abstract - like this one is lost paradise with a traditional bent - some are a lot easier to guess. As for suggestions: Error, Voodoo Doll (original version), Chained Up, Hyde (there is a companion piece called G.R.8.U), and last year's trilogy of Dynamite, Fantasy and The Closer.

Glad that you liked the m/v and slowly liking VIXX. I love me some VIXX too they always have the best kinds of concept. And they're especially great with dark concepts, which is why I call them the dark lords of Kpop music lol.

Awh man I'm soooo glad you liked it! VIXX does have a little bit of a different music style and doesn't just follow the music trends and such which is a thing I really appreciate. If you wanna get a feel for and see the scope and range of concepts they can pull off, you should go from this to a Voodoo Doll ;) (and NOT the clean version!) thanks so much for this video dear, your facial expressions were amazing xD
