There are unfortunately only a few hybrids I'm interested in, but this one is very nice, especially tuned if you do lots of miles and charge it regularily for daily driving
Would love for them to do an M550i as a hybrid, much more discreet than an M5 (which have gotten somewhat embarrassing considering what people drive them) and better as a daily.
I have a 545e and love it. I don't really want to give it a stage 1, as this will void the warranty. BMW will look for any excuse not to do a repair, if needed, under warranty.
As a G12 7series owner and had 5 series as loaner car for few times ,I can tell you the difference between the two. 1. For highway cursing, 7 series is much more stable at high-speed and isolated compare to the 5, with the air suspension set to comfort plus, you hardly feel the bumps. 2. Gearbox, the 5 series has a more aggressive and sporty gear change. I can hardly feel gaer change from first to second on mine. Personal preference. 3. Specs. You can spec a 5 series with full leather, soft closing door or air suspension, but most of them comes standard on 7, fully loaded 5 is getting close to a 730 price. 4. Backseat. No need to explain too much, some 7 series are brought as company car for CEOs or picking up business partners. You don't see many CEOs sitting in the back of a 5.
