Trond Becker It’s really funny to me how much the INTP diagnosis for Domingo makes sense. He sings and performs like such an alpha but when he isn’t onstage he is so incredibly thoughtful and deep.
Loved the video Chase! Your typing of Frank James helped me reassure I was an NFP because of your functional analysis. Brilliant work good sir, keep at it!
Upon further investigation I would say I am STJ/NFP axis with cognitive transitioning being frequent. I'm not sure what my ego is but nonetheless this content is extremely educational
How can you type people so quickly while looking at so little footage? People aren’t always showing the dominant functions in the footage, esp when you’re looking at famous people who’s job is to be perceived in a certain light. I want to better understand your version of typing, but you present system requires me to rewatch your free form videos. Hows bout you create a document that explains chart and defines the different parts and terms as a system? PPLEASE! Pretty please? If his request has already been fulfilled and I just missed it, forgive me please and lead me to said information.
C.S. Joseph thanks. I’ve seen and used this chart and it is helpful. To make it complete it needs definitions of starter, finisher, etc and descriptions/definitions of the interaction styles-an overview of the information that you provide in the lectures so that it’s easy to refer back to when watching you type or typing on our own.
Gail I’ve checked out his site, the grid, videos... am I missing something? Unless you listen to his semi impromptu video lectures (which how I’ve done), I don’t see a summary of the core points and definitions. If I had the time I would go through the lectures and create a document. That’d probably be the best why for me to learn his theory. Unfortunately I don’t. Not to compare, but I’m looking for some semblance of what Objective personality provides in there initial typing videos. Mind, I pay $19/month for it and if I spent more time there it would be worth it. Right now it’s more like a donation.. huh. I should cancel that. Anyway. Theirs aren’t actually as clear as they could be either, but they give enough guidance that I don’t feel like I to create decipher vocabulary and technique. Again, sometimes it’s like I’m blind. If this information exists, a link pretty please?
100 percent agree that Frank James is an INFP!! Chase you didn't even leave a shadow of a doubt other wise. I wish that guy would admit his error now than later down the road. But he likely has that Fi pride that seeks to feel good rather than discovering the truth by having to admit he is wrong about something.
You should all watch his first videos. Talking about his feeling, no matter how it was edited, it's really hard to hide that when the whole video is about that. Even his appearance was more infp in the beginning, now he adopted a less emo look.
Jared Vaughan yup the typical INFP, it’ll hurt his Fi so much to admit it that’s why he’s not doing that. I guess we gotta do a little bit of “social engineering” in order to get him to do that haha 🤣.
You are confusing me here. Isn't Fi all about authenticity? We value truth over feel-good lies unless we are deeply embarrassed and can't deal with the truth.
@@shahrazade26 Fi is about authentic feeling. Nothing to do with truth. Like if you don't feel good about something, you are not gonna waste time on it or don't care what others feel about it. You'll go with your inner authentic feeling.
CS Joseph you really nailed with Frank James here. There is no way he is an actual INFJ at all. Just look the way he talks with the other guy on camera. He barely looks directly to the camera, he is always keeping his eyes on the surroundings while talking, avoiding eye contact most of the time (I know he was not talking directly in person face to face, but still). This is way more INFP style of communication than INFJ.
You can't type people with a high level of accuracy by dissecting segments of interviews and other RUclips videos; the accepted standard is to take an MBTI assessment administered by a professional. There may be elements of the truth here, but I don't fully trust C. S. Joseph's conclusions
@@Smetherkitten I agree with your analysis. It would seem that C. S. Joseph is indeed very well versed in MBTI, but at the same time, he seems very biased toward proving Frank James wrong, which causes everything he analyses to be what he wants it to be. I also noticed he takes the sarcastic comments that Frank James makes and uses them as proof that Frank James is a fraud. Almost like he isn't detecting the sarcasm. Could be just me, though, maybe I'm missing something.
@@Smetherkitten Yes, I noticed that too. Having watched other videos of his, he is not always as agitated. Perhaps he sees Frank James as more of an obstacle, a problem that needs to be put right. I feel like there may be some more personal history and/or ideas. But I don't know. I think some people also fall on lines that can be very difficult to type, even for the most versed experts in the world. FJ might be one.
PART 1 of 2 Several INFJ's point out how they "never clicked with" Frank James and things of the sort. I also felt the same away after I first watched his videos. I had a slight hunch that he was not an INFJ, which is what led me to watch this video a couple weeks ago. Just as I was about to post a comment last week, I paused, reflected, and thought about it some more. I decided not to comment, so I took notes and pondered the situation further. It seems unreliable to type someone based on a single interview, but to attempt doing so on someone who could be an INFJ seems a little absurd. Franks speech, manners, countenance, body movement, etc., are all very different than many of the solo videos of him on his channel. Having lived 39 years as an INFJ, I am aware of how easy it is to adjust my persona based on environment. In the past, when I wasn't sure how to act in a particular social setting, I would act very similar to how Frank behaved during this video. Then again, that was prior to my epiphany and there are also several complex factors in my past that contributed to the person I am today (various forms of abuse that stunted my personality growth and prevented me from developing the coping skills that most people add to their toolkit at a young age, etc.) There is very little doubt in my mind as to whether I am an INFJ. Let’s pause for a moment. I do not say that in a defensive manner, and I do not seek to engage in a debate with anyone as to whether I am/am not an INFJ. I say I am because it’s relevant, true, and provides context for what I am attempting to convey. I've taken the test on numerous sites across of 20+ year time frame and it's the same results virtually every time. I try not to box myself in with the MBTI, because there is more to us than the letters that show our MBTI type. It's a useful tool, especially if crafting a precise approach to self-awareness/analysis/transformation/transcendence, etc. is of high priority. I was my own worst enemy until just a couple years prior to my epiphany, which meant that I intentionally placed myself in the worst scenarios to avoid being anyone other than the authentic version of myself. I realized at a young age that being myself resulted in very negative consequences from my father. Being the stereotypical male in a rural town in the late 80's/early 90's was the closest I could get to feeling normal, but it's not like it felt good. I was just pretending the entire time. I’m sure if someone attempted to type me during that time, they could’ve concluded an array of types. For nearly 10 years, I took on the persona of a closed-minded, Christian, chauvinistic Latino man. I married a Mexican woman, had children, and I did whatever I could to feel the love of her family. I made it my life's goal to be accepted by them, and they fell in love with me for it. With enough effort and awareness of the effect of mannerisms/behavior on others, I came about as close as I could to appearing legitimate. I would compare the way different Latino men would react in situations and I was hypersensitive to cultural norms, even the more obscure ones. The thing I probably hated doing the most was pretending to be homophobic. Unfortunately, during that time, the culture I was immersed into tended to veer strongly in that direction. I'm also a 4w5 on the Enneagram, and I'll admit that I haven't taken enough time to research that thoroughly enough, but I'll just say that I've never regarded the social construct of gender roles, and that view just doesn’t jive well with most of the Latino’s I befriended. For the most part, I experienced a very structured, narrow view that prized things like tradition, family, and being proud. Pride was a big one, and boy can that get annoying because the moment someone demonstrates it you know the hope of an honest conversation has all but left the building. That is not to say that I have concluded anything, however. I rarely, if ever, arrive at a firm conclusion on any topic. I regularly feel people's emotions very deeply and my heart does desire to see an ideal society. In order to achieve this, however, everyone on planet earth would require an ego death. Oh, I should probably skip talking about that for now because 1) not everyone enjoys talking about deep topics pertaining to self-transcendence (INFJ’s usually love it), 2) not everyone understands it (those who do recognize there is virtually nothing more important). I can be nearly whatever personality I want to be, but only temporarily. Of course, a well-trained person who is given ample time would eventually detect my inauthenticity during those times. However, if you watched a 10-minute video clip of me at one point, then another 10-minute video clip a decade earlier or later, you would likely misinterpret my type.
@@thepanthar Yes. He is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to MBTI and there are few people I am aware of who can rival his understanding of the cognitive functions. C.S. has a clear preference for thinking over feeling and instead of taking the time to notice and become more deeply aware of that, he sometimes chooses to cling to it. Of course it is only natural that he would do this, being an ENTP. However, any time we show preference for one thing over another, we often do so to the exclusion of the opposing pole. Personality type is only interesting to a point, and we have to move beyond it. As people, we have far more in common than not, and unfortunately our society is far too concerned with pointing out all the ways in which we differ. We need to move beyond that as well.
Honestly, as an INFJ, I personally never clicked with Frank's thoughts. Even my INFJ sis-in-law agreed. There are many INFP feeling they're an INFJ and watching those videos only further cements their belief they're INFJs.
The problem is... not only Frank James who is an INFP claimed himself as INFJ, but there's many, for example Vase Face, Erik Thor, Molly the person, INFJ Instinct, all of them is actually INFP not INFJ. Imagine lots of INFPs trying to verify themselves by watching to those fake INFJs they will believe that they are INFJ.
@@Irina-gi3xw Exactly. It's funny because slot of people ask why are there so many INFJs on MBTI places? Besides for the most part INFJs tend to be interested in it, half of them are probably INFP
I already knew I was an INFP before watching his videos but I started watching his videos recently and I love them but some of them almost make me question if I’m actually an INFJ like him and then I’m always like no, I think I’m just relating to him because I’m an enneagram 9 and INFJs are usually 9s. I also look up the functions of each type again and compare them and think I’m definitely an INFP
Chase please don't let up. In 5 years from now you will have far more viewers than Frank James and all the other inferior typists out there. Why? Because you speak the truth. And "you shall know the truth for the truth shall set you free." And you have set me and countless others free. You are gradually making Jungian Personality typology the science and not mere opinions. I use your science daily, and hourly in my life's relationships. Thank you.
I knew Frank James was INFP!! This satisfies me so much because he's got this charming magical girl dreamy aura that tells fairy tales and glows under the sunlight. I knew there was a reason I couldn't relate to him. I (INFJ) feel an inferiority complex towards INFPs because they are so cute and we are just not that cute. If anything, we reject that kind of cute lol
@theinquirer13 Se trickster maybe. INTPs & INFPs appear clumsy, shy & a bit akward in everything they are doing. People naturally relate these characteristics to children, something that needs care & protection. And everything that needs care & protection is deemed as "cute". That's also why INxP are often not taken seriously :')
Thaaaaank you! I'm an infj and FJ has really confused me. I looked up which enneagram type he's considered to be and also started contemplating if he just has an unhealthy surrounding and is forced to be an introverted sensor or had to develop introverted sensing really hard but it still didn't make sense. An infj usually doesn't talk about themselves in such a matter of fact way... And mannerisms and all... Would be a very self-absorbed infj so... It makes sense now. Aaaaand watch Kurt Cobain talk about the world and stuff and he sounds like FJ.
I don’t think he knows he’s an INFJ. I think he just types as an INFJ instead of INFP because he’s a male and INFP is a more feminine sensitive type. INFPs are all about authenticity and wouldn’t purposely mislead others
@Ayana Taylor very well put. It was hard for me, as an INFJ, to understand why my INFP best friend always insisted I was more "feminine". She finally was able to explain it to me in similar words to what you used. I still don't consider that more feminine, but I am viewing things more from an energetic standpoint than a functions standpoint, or societal expectation. In fact the societal expectation of it made me view my Fe a forced slavery I couldn't free myself from, for years.
Ugh there's no way Frank James was an INFJ. He just talks about himself soooo much. I would know, since I'm an INFP who also LOVES talking about themselves lol
Emily's Cat good point. I haven’t paid attention to what type he is though he overtly calls himself an INFP. Hm. Now I have to go look. Is something said about him in this video? Does Chase agree that he’s an INFJ?
@ Yep. Se users are more comfortable talking about places or people. I have this ENFJ boss and the only thing she ever mentions in her past is the places she's seen and the people she met.
All the INFPs I know are like that. Usually it's charming and they're just recounting experiences using Si or talking about their feelings (Fi). Put him in a room with an actual INFJ, and the difference would be readily apparent. I still find him and his videos very funny and charming, but he's definitely no INFJ.
PART 2 of 2 Initially, the progress I made in my journey was due largely to a willingness to confront the unknown. Only by going deep into the abyss to face the painful memories, fear, etc. can we separate ourselves from our own idea of who we believe we are (ego). I told myself I was something awful, because I was taught that repeatedly since I could think, and I didn’t unlearn it until I was 35. It was a painful thing to wake up at 35 to realize I had spent a life living at a fraction of my potential. I still did relatively okay for myself, despite selling myself short and seizing every opportunity to self-sabotage. It would have been a lot easier if I didn’t have to go through the things I did though. Then again, I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I didn’t. Okay, in true INFJ fashion, I have turned this into a ramble, but I think I made somewhat of an effort to remain linear with the logic and flow of my speech. I tend to jump around between seemingly unrelated ideas, but most of the time the ideas are related but it’s just not instantly obvious how they are (Ni). Even as I type this comment, I realize how long it is and that most people won’t take the time to read this far. If you have taken the time, then I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means so much to me that you would take the time from your life to spend with me. Thank you. I find myself making subtle adjustments on the fly based on how I believe I will be perceived. There's nothing wrong with that, and it comes from a place of truly desiring to establish a rapport. I want nothing more than to be able to leave a comment, be understood and seen for the person I truly am. It took me until I was 35 to believe I was worthy of being taken seriously. Claiming that one does not care about what others think of them and truly not caring, but in a way that strives towards the golden mean between caring too much or too little, are nowhere near being the same. Sometimes I allow myself to care, but only when I feel convinced that the time/energy investment is worth it. I have spent several years in deep study over this, but my research has extended far beyond the field of psychology. Having watched numerous videos from C.S. Joseph and Frank James, I respect both as people and find them both to be entertaining and pleasant as individuals. Can we please plan an event so that some of us can meet up? I’m tired of watching all these videos. I mean, they are fun and all, but I really need to find an outlet for my Fe, else I become captive to my own thoughts. Hey, give me a break, I never said I was perfect okay…lol. I refer to my experiences as epiphany and ego death because it’s a way to take the experience, box it up, and provide others a term to research, but if I had to put everything in layman’s terms, I would say that anyone can experience the same thing I did if they do as follows: 1) Pay very close attention to every detail of your life 2) Create a value system that is embedded entirely in virtue a. Seek the golden mean between vice and virtue b. Place all time/energy into being aware of your surroundings 3) Study other people to learn their motives/intents, but NEVER conclude anything a. Pick up on the subtleties, note them, then store that information in your mind’s web of information. b. Form a presupposition but be humble to leave some doubt to avoid closing the door on other possibilities. 4) Research the hero’s journey, find a mentor, and begin proceeding into the unknown 5) As you live your life deliberately, establish healthy boundaries that are based on the concept of respect and appreciation for yourself as a unique person a. You’ll encounter plenty of resistance but stay strong because it’s going to get much harder. The people you have known your entire life will see the positive changes, but not everyone is going to feel happy for you. If you have struggled setting boundaries in the past due to people pleasing and placating/appeasing, etc., the very idea of you having a boundary is going to confuse those people. In my specific case, it upset certain people, and that is usually a sign that something toxic exists. Not always, but usually. You know what, this is getting too long and it was a lot of work to induce an epiphany, work on my EQ, experience ego death, etc. I sacrificed my shredded body to invest several hours daily for 3 years because that’s how much time my psyche required to fully heal. Now that I think about it, I’m not sure it is. In fact, I know still have plenty to work on, but I’m in a much better place than I started, and I can accept that. There was a point when I took up to 6 prescription medications (anti-psychotics, benzodiazepines, anti-depressants, etc.) but now I take zero. That’s been the case for a couple years now, and I’ve never been more psychologically healthy. I was prescribed medication for diseases and disorders I never had, simply because the doctors concluded they knew what the problem was. Maybe they were all leading with a judging function? We live in a world of people who are quick to provide answers - people who are 100% certain of things yet fail to consider the possibility of being wrong. As an INFJ, I can pick up very quickly when someone is not interested in being honest. Authenticity, honesty, deeper meaning, and substance are very important to me. I would rather be alone than to force myself to be fake ever again. Anyways, I like your videos and I think you have a great personality, but I also think it’s possible you could be missing something. I could be wrong, but it almost appears as though you have a confirmation bias going into this. As if your mind was made up and you were seeking to prove something from an existing presupposition. The tone of your voice, your reaction, and the language you use are come off somewhat contemptuous (not sure if that’s the correct word but it seems at least partially appropriate) towards Frank. As if your sole mission in life is to reveal him as an imposter of sorts. Someone in the comments even thanked you for “validating” their suspicion because they identified as an INFJ and had trouble relating to Frank James. Well, all INFJ’s are not the same and there may be times you don’t always relate to every INFJ you meet. Is that not worthy of consideration? Post-epiphany, I tend to come across as an INFP or an INTJ. INFP’s are very in tune with their own emotions (Fi), which is something I learned to do well through the ego death. In fact, learning how to wield all the cognitive functions is the whole point, right? Whether Frank is or is not an INFJ is not really of great concern to me. I can personally relate to a lot of his videos (not all, but definitely several) and I find that he does possess many of the qualities of an INFJ. I think it would be wise to consider what I am saying, C.S., but it’s entirely up to you and I won’t be the least bit offended if you decide to toss all my advice out the window. I hope you do not do that, and something tells me you won’t, but it’s beyond my control. However, if you do feel that I am wrong in any way, please explain so I can understand. Winning an argument with anyone is the last thing on my mind. I just want to believe the truth so I can align thoughts/actions accordingly. If you’ve made it this far, Thank You for your time. Yes, I know I already said that a few paragraphs ago, but I’m saying it again. Use these tests as tools but please take more than one of them. Take the Big 5, Enneagram, MBTI(on more than 1 site), etc. I would encourage everyone not to take the tests to gain membership to a club, because doing stands to exacerbate the groupthink and tribal behavior that already seems to be infesting many people in society. Ask thoughtful questions that are creative and seek to understand without any influence of the ego. I can assure you that there will be people reading this who simply won’t be able to grasp the depth of what it means to pursue such a state of existence. I view it as an all or nothing approach, because to do anything less will skew your view because the ego’s job is to protect us from that which scares us. Unfortunately, however, and I always refer to this quote, when Carl Jung said “that which you need most is where you least want to look”, he was not talking about finding out what your MBTI digits are, but rather he was talking about facing one’s demons and fears in the unconscious realms of the psyche. Only by doing this can we truly be at our best, and it’s very easy to spot when someone is in their ego. I should know, it was the only thing I knew for 35 years. In other words, I’m not passing judgement on anyone here. I say everything with sincere humility because failure to do so would ultimately lead to ego inflation, and that’s the last thing I would want. So, we can box ourselves in with a 4-digit identifier and share how unique we feel we are with all your friends, or we can use these tools to understand and hone in on those areas requiring the most development, based on the order of the functions for our personality type. It’s even possible to associate EQ with each function. We are all wired differently with an inborn personality, and that helps make the world a more interesting place to live. I’ve been posting a lot of long comments like this because it serves as an outlet to express my thoughts, but it’s also nice because less people read RUclips comments than the ones on Quora. In a way it feels safer because less people read them, but the people who do are usually my intended audience anyways. I am tired and must get going now. Let me copy/paste this into my journal now before I forget. Man am I glad my computer didn’t crash because I’d hate to have to retype all of this again…not that I would… Take care everyone. Much love. Cheers, Ricky
Have you written a book man? I've had to scroll to find this part 2 after reading part 1, and boy did you have a load of perseverance to lay all of this in this way. This is a FLOOD of feelings and experiences... And not sure how i really wanna react to it but at least i have this comment
Hello, Ricky. I read through both of your comments, and I agree with you that people are multifaceted. We must consider all variables. Your 'waking up' experience is similar to my own. I started this journey a few years ago now, also in my thirties, and it has been the singlemost harrowing endeavor I've ever ventured to take on. I truly appreciate your willingness to expose your thoughts and processing for those of us reading. I hope you are able to continue the journey, as you find those hidden glimpses of yourself that have been locked away. So many of us live our lives obscured from our true selves because the work is so painstaking, and as you said, it is liken to a death. The beautiful discovery is that we can experience many deaths, and yet, we rise. It is a poignant allegory woven into every beloved story, and we get to live it. This is life's most precious secret. I'd love to speak to you sometime, should you ever happen upon this comment. My email is on my channel info (in business inquiries). It would be a pleasure. Kind Regards- Lore
I am not drawn to FJ due to his claims of being an INFJ. I don't relate to his videos about being an INFJ as much, but I do find them interesting. He has a lot of charisma and charm, and this is what draws people to him. He is self-deprecating at times, and tends to show vulnerability, which in my opinion is lacking on RUclips in general. So, it is not surprising that he is drawing in a lot of subscribers (and yes, I am one of them). He didn't start doing INFJ videos until his first INFJ video blew up (he titled them other names than they are now--and he's deleted a few since his channel has grown), and I think it became an obsession to see how many views his channel could get by creating this INFJ focused channel. It was a smart move, but I don't know if he knows how to back away from it without alienating all of the people who follow him. He did a video about his greatest fear being other people's judgement, so I can understand why he isn't willing to consider that he is mistyped, and chance receiving judgement from everyone or backlash in general. Having to eat your words can be painful, even if it is the right thing to do.
OMG I'm shook! I'm an infj and I admire doctor Mike and his videos. I also want to be a doctor and spread optimism like Simon Sinek. Thank you for making me realize this. Love this channel!
I honestly think Frank James is likely INTJ, not INFP. If you look at more of his interviews (for example, Type-writers: INFJ) its even more obvious that he has Ni. He hesitates constantly (his eyes moving to one side when he does so) while he is speaking, and thinks about what he is going to say before he says it, not as he says it, as an Ne user would. You do draw a lot of conclusions based on things you believe indicate Si, however, certain statements he made such as "I made a youtube channel to talk about things going on in my life" could be an Fi statement just as easily. If not more than an Si statement. It just means he is focused inwardly, and things in his life could be day to day--it doesn't automatically mean Si long term memory thinking back on past experience. Furthermore, even if a statement did sound purely Si, are we going to ignore the clear Ni? I agree he has Fi, but I think his Te was used more when trying to make decisions and gather information. He started taking classes, looked for authority on the subject, and you even mention how much he cares about achievement. He seems more concerned with how the system works as a whole, and learning that information, more so than he does his identity or anything like that. I'm sorry, I'm just not seeing Ne over Ni, and its just as common for INTJs to be mistyped as INFJs as it is for INFPs to be mistyped as INFJs.
I dated an INFJ and his sister was INFP, and I definately think Frank James is more like an INFP, INFJs are super humble whereas you can tell INFPs love themselves
It frustrates me when someone like frank james sharing false and BS information to people and also a lot of people believe him. As you’ve said before you used to think that you are an INTJ and made a lot of problems due to lack of proper input. What has to be done for preventing this problem? And how do you get along with it?
C.S. Joseph yeah sure I have put about 6,7 month into watching all your videos and understanding this psychology but what meant was how to prevent someone like frank james from leaking false information?
I've been watching these videos for a little bit now, so I still get very confused but I was hoping you could clarify. I noticed the pattern that when people mention others in their interviews they're automatically categorized under Se however when Frank James mentioned other he was placed under Si. What's the difference between his and everyone else's answer? For Placido Domingo, he was using both Se and Si almost simultaneously. How does one type in that instance? Would you just consider the one that's used most often? Lastly, since we can't talk to these people directly all we have are interviews, do you think that their comfort level and type of questions asked end up skewing the type of answer we hear or do you think it has little to no effect on the outcome? Thank you.
i agree with u, he is infp. well i dont realize that when i saw his skit videos, but when he talk about infjs i can't really relate to him like, i dont think infj like that... his collab yt with lijo (intj) proof that he is clearly not infj
Do you have any videos on INTPs & the theories of them being more susceptible to personality disorder? I’ve discovered to a scary degree that I’ve patternized switching among 4 different personalities throughout the year, them being: INTP, INFP, ISFP, ISTP I’ve gotten diagnosed with a bunch of stuff over the course of time from depression, bipolar, anxiety, bpd which all falls under cyclothymia. So I’m just curious what your thoughts could be on the parallels that some of us INTPs are drawn into with disorders.
Upon getting into MBTI and especially the functions, I was really confused about Frank James too. As an INFJ myself I could not at all resonate with him. You are really nailing down how the presence of the different functions manifest themselves. Like initiating vs responding...got ya. I will invest time into understanding what you`re saying fully, it will be alot of material from you to go thru but I will get there I think. It takes time to digest. When starting to actually comprehend this, I don`t think it takes alot of time and effort to at least narrow down the range of types quickly. ...Oh boy there are alot if mistyping going around for sure. I am not sure why its so popular to supposedly be an INFJ. There are alot of dark spots, and in order to get out of them spots, there will be some irreversal casualties. As young its really difficult, as it takes alot of years (with me anyway) to get the secondary, child functions devloped enough to increase quality of life. Keep up the honest and great work.
Frank James has the calm of Sherman of Geek Psychology, and he doesn't seem to have the willpower of Ni Hero at all... I've been wondering if he's really an INFJ for a while now, and interestingly he did a test in a video called "Mistyped?" wherein he got the result of ISTJ... probably a mix of his INFP ego and his ESTJ subconscious...
ISTJ has the same cognitive functoins as his INFP ego. Think about that, also watch season 17 playlist if you havent and if you can stomach it. It is not for the feint of heart.
As an INFP I disagree that Frank James is INFP. He's just not. He doesn't have Fi. People may be confusing his 4 enneagram, which many INFPs are, for being INFP.
I am wondering why you think he doesn't have Fi? Fi is hard to express for many infps, myself included but it doesnt mean its not there. Also if he uses Te then he would have to have Fi within his ego and it is pretty obvious hes a Te user. Maybe he isnt an infp but I feel he is definetly a Si/Ne Fi/Te user. Also he seems to have Se trickster so I dont think hed be istj otherwise hed have Se nemesis
I think the "bed" comment by Rihanna is her avoiding giving specifics and downplaying money and who she's dating but still trying to give Ellen something. She's very clever. She is an 8 on the enneagram with a seeming 7 wing. . But do agree with what you are saying about her comments around the time of Chris.
Second question: at 51:18 you suggest "bringing plans into reality is a struggle" indicates Se trickster, but doesn't Se inferior/performance anxiety also lead to inability to do things/failure to launch? I'm not asking in order to defend FJ's type, but rather to determine my own. Thanks! Also I kind of think it makes sense for him to be talking about himself and his past experiences if that's what the interviewer is asking about, rather than being solely a result of Si. But I haven't yet watched the other typing clips so maybe I can answer my own question there.
Ever noticed that Fe and Fi Users Smile different.. I wouldn‘t type by that but it is funny that most of the time FI Users pull their upper lip upwards to smile while FE Users pull their mouth corners outwards (Dr Mike has a very FE Smile)
Chase, I love when you look into the camera like Jim from the office when you’re watching an interview and typing someone. Pretty sure Jim is also an ENTP btw, but I’d be interested to hear if you think he is too.
Sometime you should try to type Mary Lou Henner (that actress from Taxi). She's one of the few people who have hyperthymesia -- a condition that allows people to have total recall memory. Because she has this condition, I'm particularly curious which slot her Si would be in.
I don't know what Frank James is as I feel typing is something that is for the individual to understand themselves better , accept themselves , leverage strengths manage weakness and have better understanding to how they deal with others. But had I been Frank James and answering this interview , I would no way answer everything with 100 percent complete facts , I would give 50 to 60 percent or even less of information which might not be dominant reasons or drivers as answer to the questions in real life events. On this basis , I doubt can anyone be typed based on their interview answers !
@@CSJoseph why would he even answer the interview honestly with complete facts ?! It's not about him , but I have observed many don't. In interviews they answer more like what they choose to show. How they want to be perceived.
Now an MBTI youtuber I think is an INFJ is Michael Pierce... his overall presentation & demeanor in his videos remind me SOOO much of my Mom when she did informative podcasts & videos back in her youth (in college, before having children).... their aruas are just too similar... Like, if I could describe their auras of their vids as genres of music, at least one of them would be Georgian Chants lol...
The problem with op is they classify FJ as an infj or double decider because hes asking for an opinion. They say IPs dont do that which is fuckin bull shit because we do. We have Te inferior and it still wants an opinion
I wish it wasn't true. I spend so much time and energy trying to make sure I'm always in shape, looking decent, looking better than I used to, etc. I realize that it is a HUGE waste of precious time, but I can't stop. (It definitely doesn't mean *everything* though, and in a sense, it means nothing. It comes from a huge insecurity, not materialism. Obviously I also care about a ton of other things) Are you an infj? Do you feel the same?
Jasmine Marie I am, that's why I asked this bc I don't really care about clothes and look, I have a rather poor sense of fashion and I'm ok with that bc I don't think it's something we should spend energy, time and money on. As long as I am comfortable it's ok. I know that's more an INFP thing, so I was curious...
@@vsml333 Have you watched CS Joseph's INFJ video? He goes into depth on infj vanity.. The infp women I know (my sister, my aunt) are both rather unfashionable, overweight (no offense to them, they are body positive) & don't really care about their appearance...but they are my favorite people ever! I love infps and wish I was one sometimes haha...& like the above commenter, Richard said, personality type doesn't mean we share all traits/values, and I think it's awesome that the need for "perfectionism" hasn't infected you with the constant need to present well to others in the form of an unhealthy obsession. ✌
It depends on the values of those around them. If they are mirroring a type that places value in appearance, then they will emulate that value. I innately gravitate towards quality/longevity. Those that know me, say that I have expensive taste; however, that is only the byproduct of caring about craftmanship, quality materials, or things which bring comfort or ease. It just so happens that those things come at a cost, and fulfill my desire for quality and longevity. So, while I do not place a high value on appearance, I also know that the world is motivated/driven by it. I neglect my body frequently (Se inferior), but I know that if I want to help others to the best of my ability (quality), then I must also be at my best to do so longterm (longevity). The note from another commenter about longing to give a good experience to others, is also true. It is a huge motivation for me.
Ti users would never say "Made me think". Nobody and nothing makes a Ti user think. Ti users think for themselves. Frank James reminds me of Keanu Reeves.
I think that INFJs potentially aren't the rarest type, since INFJs and INFPs mistake themselves for each other. Perhaps INFP is rarer? It's quite insightful learning how to type people; thank you for this wealth of knowledge good sir. -INFJ who's tested as INFP (on the 16personalities test)
Fretboard Lab good point. But this could also differ in other parts of the world. Personally I’ve NEVER typed anyone but myself as INFJ. But i type INFPs all the time. (Not as much as SJs tho) 💎
Anyone interested in typing me can comment on this post. I'll pay you. I just need an identity so that I can act like one lol. I can relate to every personality type at some point in my life. So confused right now maybe because I don't want to spend much time on MBTI stuff. I've got better things to do. But at the rock bottom, you take anything that can make some sense. At least cs joseph's approach is more scientific and structured
@@ShadowQuik ShadowQuik that's where the problem arises. I could be te/fi but i care sometimes way too much about what other people feel. I can sense their emotions quite well. Whether they are genuinely happy or just pretending to be nice I can spot that easily while I have really hard time knowing what am I exactly feeling inside. I know I'm feeling discomfort or anxious but I don't exactly know what it is or why it is. Sometimes I don't even know what to feel. In a social setting I'm constantly worried about if I making them uncomfortable. That prevents me from saying the truth or sometimes lie. But I genuinely want to fix their problem. But I feel worthless as all those evidences keep telling me I'm not pleasant to be around.I keep them comfortable in expense of my comfort. But when I'm online with strangers I can finally say the harsh truth that make them uncomfortable but it's necessary to solve the problem. About "Te" I don't really give a shit about what other people think. I care about the truth. I only care about their opinion just to get enough data to build a logical framework. I don't care if they think I'm right or wrong as long as I know I'm right after I analyze the things from all possible angle as possible which points to the same outcome. That's why mbti is so confusing. The model is not concrete. I can relate to so many cognitive function I shouldn't relate to according to theory. I go to different forums and their opinions collide and that makes me confused as I don't know much about mbti don't wanna spend much time studying it and so I have to rely on others opinion
Sunset Jesus Interesting, yeah I really wouldn’t be able to type you just from what you wrote here but if you agree with the type grid method I would recommend taking note of the dichotomies that you’re most sure about. For example, if you’re sure that you’re responding over initiating, or if you’re sure that your affiliative over pragmatic. If you gather only a couple of these things, you can actually type yourself off of that. For example: abstract, responding, affiliative, and Fi/Te would narrow someone down to INFP immediately, allowing you to skip interaction style in this case. Personally I think the abstract/concrete, responding/initiating, and pragmatic/affiliative dichotomies to be usually pretty easy to identify in yourself once you know what they are.
@@sunsetjesus4719 i think you might be an infj, Fe parent(harmony=guilt all the time)+Ti child(correcting people)+Se inferior(wanting to give good experience to people around you) + feeling worthless and useless
@@mounachabou9964 I actually leaned a lot in the meantime with the help of cs Joseph's videos and discovered that I'm very informative and control oriented. Which eleminates the possibility for infj..I think I'm more likely an isfp although not so sure because I can relate a lot to istp and infj too..may be I'm cognitive transitioning which I'm not aware of lol
Very interesting and fun. I found out my MBTI by taking the tests.. about 5 times, I'd say. Most of them gave me back INFJ, and 2 of them said I was either an INFJ or an INFP, I believe. I think I would have had to pay to find out which one. I've found, though, that my Enneagram Test (the Giver/Helper, the Investigator/Observer, the Peacemaker) was far superior to my MBTI, so I embrace that one a lot better. What I also like about the Enneagram is that it recognizes gender (male and female) differences and that is scientific. My opinion on MBTI, is that it puts you in this little box with no room to breathe.. But any test isn't going to capture a person's soul, so I don't make it my religion. They are helpful tools.
Chase is close. Great analysis of the functions. Frank James is ENFP. They often mistype themselves as INFJ. INFPs are much less confrontational and much more subtle and nuanced in their general approach ENFPs. Frank James’s acting style and misinterpretation of the types is also characteristic of an ENFP. Nothing against them btw! They are great.
He's more outcome than movement. and enfp's are triple movement, while INFPs are triple outcome so that characteristic is pretty well expressed through each, even if cognitively transitioned.
I've watched all of these "how to type" videos but it still baffles me how you can come to their type so quickly and also when identifying the cognitive functions they are using. I'm not saying you are wrong though, but I've studied the cognitive functions for about a year including watching your videos, and still have no idea how you actually identify it in these people. For example the first guy, I didn't really understand how he was using Si. I have to rely on the vibes people give off pretty much.
Idk if Frank James is an INFJ or not, but this typing was a pure case of confirmation bias. The interviewer literally primed Frank James to reflect on his personal experiences (Si) and the ends he was trying to achieve in starting the channel (Te). Thus, FJ and anyone in his position would likely be using more Si and Te than typical due to the nature of the interview. As a qualitative researcher myself, this is a clear instance as to why framing is everything and how it can be misleading.
This is inaccurate. When interviewers ask people for their personal experiences, Se users actually talk about others and not themselves when speaking about their memories.
@@CSJoseph The point is that depending how a question is asked, the person is primed more or less to respond in a certain kind of way. Thus if asked for a personal account, they will try to center the story around themselves and in a narrative format. It's not impossible for Se/Ni types to do that; it's just not their default mode of doing it. They may even make things up to fill the holes. Certain kinds of questioning might avoid this issue; but really there are also numerous confounds involved in typing videos that I'm sure you've considered. Again, I'm not debating your conclusion about FJ,. As an INFJ myself, I don't see myself in him (but that could be for many reasons); I just think there's a chance you might be right for the wrong reasons and throwing that out there.
Came for FJ's type, and I have several doubts: 1. You seem to have a general suspicion about FJ, thinking that he's manipulative or that he's too proud to admit his mistake due to his branding, but generally when someone claims to be one thing or the other, I have no reason to believe he says anything other than what he thinks is true, especially when it's something innocuous like MBTI, even when money is involved. He almost certainly believes he's INFJ, even though he has had doubts about it in the past. 2. A lot of things you attribute to certain functions can be attributed to other functions. You attribute a lot of things to Te that can also be interpreted as Fe, such as seeking outside approval from authority figures. From my understanding, they are very similar functions from the outside, but have very different motives, which causes a lot of confusion (although I could be wrong). You also chalk up to Si a lot of things that could be Se, and to Ne a lot of things that could be Ni (such as making connections between things). 3. 10 minutes of an interview is a fairly small sample size, and not enough to conclude what someone's type is. Unless there's a miscommunication on what each of the cognitive functions means, there's no reason your analysis to be more accurate than FJ's 30+ years of experience as himself. I, myself, am typed INFJ and am fairly confident of my typing's accuracy (with 1% wiggle room), and while I also "never clicked" with FJ on a personal level, I find his sketches entertaining and many of the struggles he mentions to be true to heart and resonate mine. He always striked me as someone with very developed inferior functions, which come from years of self-improvement with MBTI, and when watching his older videos it becomes clear to me how much he developed and grew since then (these videos in particular resonate heavily with me, since his demeanor in them reminds me a lot of myself). I do believe he's most likely an INFJ, but he's so good at masking certain aspects of himself to fit the situation it can often seem as if he's a completely different type. My main problem isn't with that, though, and more about how you jump to conclusions and seem to fall into conformation bias, but again, that's just my perspective.
Really appreciate your effort, these are my thoughts as well. I recommend Joyce Meng's recent interview with Frank. They're both INFJ but Joyce is a jumper type in Objective Personality's terms. Once one knows this detail, it all clicks together. Very insightful
I took a look at your list for the first time in a while, and I can't find Frank James on it. I also saw a few that I could have sworn you had typed differently before. Have you changed your mind on some people recently?
ARGH! : People believing "authorities" over the person telling the actual truth. Bane (one of them, prob top 5) of my existence. Also, I'm glad that you mocked Rhianna's dress. Years ago my coworker showed me something online where a high school student recreated for prom a dress that Rhianna had worn and Rhianna saw the dress and made fun of the teenage girl's attempt at recreating the dress. I've disliked Rhianna ever since...it triggers the fuck out of me when people in positions of power/role models (Michael Vick, Bill Cosby, corrupt politicians/racist police officers anyone?) abuse their power, set a shitty example or mock the people looking up to them. Can't fucking stand it.
I'm here only for FJ's typing and I gotta say it's pretty accurate until now! Haven't finished the video yet but as a male INFJ I never related to FJ. He's funny I guess, but he shows no emotions on his face when talking. He keeps the same voice level even when impersonating other mbti types (quite monotonous), while I have no problem "getting out" of myself and putting other types' masks. My friends always laugh at the accuracy of my impersonations 😅 Anyway I'm talking so much about myself and I don't want to be typed as INFP too so I'll stop here.
You literally nailed the reason why I'm now afraid to comment 😂 Years of therapy has trained me to use "I" or "I feel" statements to create positive communication with others ... which indeed does help people feel more comfortable. And now I'm like "oh no, the CSJ community is going to think I'm INFP!!" (because everyone is on a fake INFJ witch hunt) Agree with what you said on his monotone voice. My INTJ partner always accuses me of going too up and down with my voice when I'm passionate about something and he can't handle it, lol. But I can't help it!! Also noticed while I'm entertained by FJ's sketch videos, I can hardly watch his monologue videos ... it is chaotic in my brain. He's fuzzy, not clear. And that was confusing to me because as an INFJ I would never put out something that was so incoherent. Who would even understand it?? Live is one thing (I'm sure I'm a bit chaotic in a real time situation) but pre-recorded stuff that you edit?? I will say this, he seems to at least have a decent understanding of Se inferior, that was his one monologuing video I related to, even if delivery was a bit cringey.
@@Nerdy-By-Nature You tell me about INTJs. One of my best friends is an INTJ and he doesn't like emotions (even though I don't consider myself very emotional). He's a robot or something.

i think it's funny how ppl in the chat keep saying "INFJ!" in chat during the frank james typing session, and even AFTER you proved he is NOT AT ALL. LMAO what's wrong with ppl xD
It seems to me that you are talking like somebody is constantly telling you you are wrong, you look somewhat angry at some points in the video. Why is that? (I don't mean, why am I seeing that, but what is the reason you are doing that that made me see that way?)

Could you consider typing Nathan Glass (Love Who channel) iv tried to figure out what his type is but well, im not that experienced in typing and i dont even get all of my typings right, i just usually get it somewhat close. ANYWAY please consider typing him somewhere in the future, could u?
I'm an admin of the main INFJ group on Facebook, the colatteral from Frank saying he is an INFJ is enormous, so many mistypes and the group has been in utter confusion since. I also was equally annoyed at similar points you were in the video. The admin/mod team has always pegged him as a NP so it was an interesting analysis for sure. Overall very refreshing haha. I sent you a fb request C.S. loved this video! I may even post this to the INFJ group. Get people triggered in a good way.

If his request has already been fulfilled and I just missed it, forgive me please and lead me to said information.
go to csjoseph.life and wait for 30 seconds then do the pop up
C.S. Joseph oh and how the cognitive functions relate to the interaction types.
Alt An he's already defined all of this. He's been at it for a long time. The content is on his website and this you've channel. Happy learning.
CSJ sounds a bit salty that FJ got over that 100k sub mark lol shots fired!!! Ps: I'm INFJ but gotta say, I never saw the INFJness in FJ
I love me some salt. Nice to see you are still around.

The Frank James typing was fun. The guy has like Zero Ti.
Exactly
You can't type people with a high level of accuracy by dissecting segments of interviews and other RUclips videos; the accepted standard is to take an MBTI assessment administered by a professional. There may be elements of the truth here, but I don't fully trust C. S. Joseph's conclusions
@@Smetherkitten I agree with your analysis. It would seem that C. S. Joseph is indeed very well versed in MBTI, but at the same time, he seems very biased toward proving Frank James wrong, which causes everything he analyses to be what he wants it to be. PART 1 of 2
Several INFJ's point out how they "never clicked with" Frank James and things of the sort.
Then again, that was prior to my epiphany and there are also several complex factors in my past that contributed to the person I am today (various forms of abuse that stunted my personality growth and prevented me from developing the coping skills that most people add to their toolkit at a young age, etc.)
There is very little doubt in my mind as to whether I am an INFJ.
I like this response. I appreciate the time and thought you put into it.
You are right .
Do you agree with C.S. Joseph on most stuff? I'm curios.

@@sunsetjesus4719 I'm an INFP and I never seem to get an INFP vibe from him.
Thank you.
It's gonna be much sooner than in 5 years man.
ESFP superego mocking frank james. I'm loving it.
Excited to hear what Frank James has to say about this.. sitting on my couch eating a popcorn
Did he ever say anything or did CS Joseph never get the satisfaction 🤣
I’ve been typing FJ as INFP as well!!! I couldn’t stand following him anymore as a true INFJ lol! Thank you for the validation?! 🌹
Jamaca Nichols by vultology standpoints (typing thru eyes and face expression) he definitely NFPs not an NFJs
I stopped watching him as well for similar reasons. Most of his videos are just recycled MBTI info from online anyhow.
Yep, I'm another INFJ here that unsubscribed from FJ. The INFPs in the comments can keep enjoying his videos
Why are y'all so defensive if he's Infj or not?
I feel ya. It's almost too easy to instantly notice FJ is an Fi-user, but his followers keep saying INFJ.
It’s very fun listening to you type Frank James
Frank James seems more like an actor who is just using mbti as a platform.
he is very talented
I don’t think he knows he’s an INFJ. I think he just types as an INFJ instead of INFP because he’s a male and INFP is a more feminine sensitive type. INFPs are all about authenticity and wouldn’t purposely mislead others
@@Lilysnflwr INFP males are still masculine.
There’s going to be SOOOOO much butthurt with Frank James! HA!
INFJ = I'm not Frank James
The comparitive analysis of Rihanna's inferior and aspirational Te was the highlight of the video.
@@junior10199 You got it mixed. Frank James thinks he's an INFJ when he's actually an INFP
Emily's Cat oops. Maybe I subconsciously knew he wasn’t an INFJ thought he was INFP? 😁
FJ's quadra is the reason he typed ISTJ when he took the test again on one of his videos. This was the funniest live chat ever.
Very nice analytical way of approaching ppls self-proclaimed personality type! You just got yourself a INTJ sub!
“gUUUysss” im dead lmao
Chase are you going for a rooster look?

PART 2 of 2
Initially, the progress I made in my journey was due largely to a willingness to confront the unknown.
I refer to my experiences as epiphany and ego death because it’s a way to take the experience, box it up, and provide others a term to research, but if I had to put everything in layman’s terms, I would say that anyone can experience the same thing I did if they do as follows:
1) Pay very close attention to every detail of your life
2) Create a value system that is embedded entirely in virtue
a. Seek the golden mean between vice and virtue
b. Place all time/energy into being aware of your surroundings
3) Study other people to learn their motives/intents, but NEVER conclude anything
a. Pick up on the subtleties, note them, then store that information in your mind’s web of information.
b. Form a presupposition but be humble to leave some doubt to avoid closing the door on other possibilities.
4) Research the hero’s journey, find a mentor, and begin proceeding into the unknown
5) As you live your life deliberately, establish healthy boundaries that are based on the concept of respect and appreciation for yourself as a unique person
Man am I glad my computer didn’t crash because I’d hate to have to retype all of this again…not that I would…
Take care everyone. Much love.
Cheers,
Ricky
Have you written a book man? I've had to scroll to find this part 2 after reading part 1, and boy did you have a load of perseverance to lay all of this in this way. This is a FLOOD of feelings and experiences... And not sure how i really wanna react to it but at least i have this comment
@@haroldbaluyottan ruclips.net/video/tFF3RlO5u34/видео.html
Well this has confirmed to me that i'm INFP b/c my thought process is lots like Frank James's. Type Dave Chapelle, he's having a pop culture moment!!
Yes to Chapelle!
If control is output, and movement is efficiency, and being efficient generates a higher output, then wouldnt movement and control the same thing?
“Do I really need to keep driving this point home. I think I actually do” gotta love Te critic and Se demon
Asia LaPlante I agree
Fi is not one's own experiences, Fi is about decision making based on what one values.
And how do you get along with it?
use and understand the type grid
Thank you.
omg you're funny, loved the frank james typing

52:13 Frank James - INFP
AGREED FRANK JAMES .......(INFP) !! As a intj
Please tell him
Ooooh now it’s kinda makes since how Frank James keep getting istj from online tests
Do you have any videos on INTPs & the theories of them being more susceptible to personality disorder? I’ve discovered to a scary degree that I’ve patternized switching among 4 different personalities throughout the year, them being:
INTP, INFP, ISFP, ISTP
I’ve gotten diagnosed with a bunch of stuff over the course of time from depression, bipolar, anxiety, bpd which all falls under cyclothymia.
He might not be an INFP...but he is definitely not an INFJ.
He has tons of Fi clearly
I think the "bed" comment by Rihanna is her avoiding giving specifics and downplaying money and who she's dating but still trying to give Ellen something. She's very clever. She is an 8 on the enneagram with a seeming 7 wing. . But do agree with what you are saying about her comments around the time of Chris.
I remember in one INFJ video you lamented INFJs caring about credentials. Is this different from Te users caring about authorities on subjects?
Second question: at 51:18 you suggest "bringing plans into reality is a struggle" indicates Se trickster, but doesn't Se inferior/performance anxiety also lead to inability to do things/failure to launch? I'm not asking in order to defend FJ's type, but rather to determine my own. Thanks!
Also I kind of think it makes sense for him to be talking about himself and his past experiences if that's what the interviewer is asking about, rather than being solely a result of Si. But I haven't yet watched the other typing clips so maybe I can answer my own question there.
i’ve heard that unhealthy infjs tend to act like infps and the same the other way around.
ahavah basya they can also act like the unhealthy ESTP (which is the INFJ subconscious). This has happened to me from time to time.
INFJs in crisis tend to look like they're having an Fi explosion--but it's usually just an Fe/Se meltdown lol.
@@a.r.8954 Yes.
I bet if C.S Joseph typed me he'd say I was ISFJ or some off type like someone once persisted I was. xD
Where's that type grid you can follow along on the show? How do I access this?
Because she has this condition, I'm particularly curious which slot her Si would be in.
hi can I have a link to the Bobby Fischer typing, regards
I don't know what Frank James is as I feel typing is something that is for the individual to understand themselves better , accept themselves , leverage strengths manage weakness and have better understanding to how they deal with others. But had I been Frank James and answering this interview , I would no way answer everything with 100 percent complete facts , I would give 50 to 60 percent or even less of information which might not be dominant reasons or drivers as answer to the questions in real life events. On this basis , I doubt can anyone be typed based on their interview answers !
That is an incorrect point of view. Most people are walking around mistyped.
Is it true that INFJs are so concerned with their physical appeareance, that it means everything for them?
Maybe if they are immature or unhealthy. Not all INFJ's are the same nor do they all share the same values.
(Not as much as SJs tho) 💎

i think infjs are actually one of the most popular types. it seems like everyone and their mothers is infj lmao.
Likely Te/Fi but not enough evidence lol
Chase has an INFJ radar apparently 😂 Where do I get one?
I have to rely on the vibes people give off pretty much.
use cognitive axes
use cognitive axes
You mean that you work out that they use e.g. Ti if you see Fe? If so I was meaning how you identify the more subtle cues that you do not explain.
I guess that once you understand cognitive functions well enough, then everything looks pretty obvious for an ENTP like C.S.
Frank James seems too comedic and funny to be INFJ.
And yeah I can say that because I am INFJ😂
Do you agree that INFJ's seem quite serious in nature, typically?
P O W E R - R E D - B U L L yes actually. Especially when they are more immature. It was literally the thing that defined me for so many years.
@@chevonnenaude661 I find INFJ's typically do like it a lot when others make some jokes, problably to get them out of their serieus mode a bit.
P O W E R - R E D - B U L L ugh yes😂 i love it when people are humorous
do you consider pewDiepie funny? because he's an INFJ
This guy dave superpowers claims he is intj and i never believed it. Can someone tell me if my intuition is right on that?
What do you think he is?
never heard of dave superpowers but me and my intj friend both believe he's intj. extreme and obvious Ni in my opinion, but backed up with Te and Fi
He's a narcissistic INTJ with extremely critical Ti to the point he refuses to Ti his own crap or let others do it
Came for FJ's type, and I have several doubts:
Do you only type adults I am only asking cause one of the people who I want to see typed is very famous but young
How can you tell so quickly he is responding? He is in an interview situation, surely this would make him responding?
I've typed a loooot of people, so my Ne hero can spot the patterns pretty quick. I wasn't always this fast, I had to learn it and get the reps in.
I took a look at your list for the first time in a while, and I can't find Frank James on it.
I also saw a few that I could have sworn you had typed differently before. Have you changed your mind on some people recently?
There have been retypes, yes. The most updated list is maintained at csjoseph.life/famous
42:50 uhhhhhh! He knows about masons!
As an INFP, I relate to everything you said about Frank James. Funny thing is, I used to be the INFP who thinks i was the INFJ because of his videos
Good points.
You literally nailed the reason why I'm now afraid to comment 😂 Years of therapy has trained me to use "I" or "I feel" statements to create positive communication with others ... which indeed does help people feel more comfortable. And now I'm like "oh no, the CSJ community is going to think I'm INFP!!" (because everyone is on a fake INFJ witch hunt)
Agree with what you said on his monotone voice.
@@joelbedulla4 lol, they're an interesting type, that's for sure! Mine can definitely get emotional, but it's far different from the way I do, and it's the Fe/Fi difference. And sometimes our Te/Ti will start battling, haha! The social awareness, the empathy ... all very very different. He actually was mistyped by an MBTI test administrator as an INFJ.
Usually ESTP is more my type but Frank James definitely does it for me 😉 (what ever type he is)
he is INFP
i think it's funny how ppl in the chat keep saying "INFJ!" in chat during the frank james typing session, and even AFTER you proved he is NOT AT ALL. LMAO what's wrong with ppl xD
Typing myself while watching this. Nc
how about a $5 Typegrid app for a smart phone?
it will be free
It seems to me that you are talking like somebody is constantly telling you you are wrong, you look somewhat angry at some points in the video. Why is that? (I don't mean, why am I seeing that, but what is the reason you are doing that that made me see that way?)
You are not the only one who is seeing that.
I’m happy for CS cuz he’s right but also sad for Frank cuz he’s wrong. 😯
Frank is still cool in my book.
The way he said oBvIoUsLy when typing FJ reminds me of Louis Tomlinson. 😂
I totally typed Graham an ENTJ too. Why don’t people see that it’s so obvious lol
As an ISFP Rihanna’s my spirit animal. Like she’s just unbothered and does whatever
So how does si mimicry differ from se mirror (also do what others do)?
Si keep the habits, Se loses them easily.
Really missed how to type
Loved that one , you were specified on a lot of areas and I took notes ! Thank you !
But there is a question I got confused between se ni and mimicry which is ne si because I knew se ni is looking at people's experience to know what you want , why you said it's mimicry with frank james
I hope q and a will be sooner : )
8:26 in and noticing that the typing videos were at their peak when Mello and Raka (the ENFP guy) were your wingmen. Recommend bringing them back.
Great video!!!... I was wondering these days: do you provide these types of services to individuals? (that is, doing an interview on skype -or similar- and typifying a person). If so, what should I do if I am interested? Thanks a lot!!!
Yep, at csjoseph.life/coaching
@@CSJoseph Great! ;-)
@@CSJoseph The prices are higher than I expected; right now. I'll think about it. Thanks! ;-)
Could you consider typing Nathan Glass (Love Who channel) iv tried to figure out what his type is but well, im not that experienced in typing and i dont even get all of my typings right, i just usually get it somewhat close. ANYWAY please consider typing him somewhere in the future, could u?
ENTP afaik
Hi Chase, can you tell me your top 3 favourite MBTI types you prefer to have as friends?
The point of this is to understand everyone so type is no longer a limiting factor.
Thanks bro.
Also, Chase, I ALSO have a 64 oz. Kleen Kanteen. And I also drink three of them a day.
preach it, #goglia
Jez, if you could just STOOOOP screaming at us for a second (in every video!!), that would be amazing. But ofc that would be impossible.
Truth Revealed by the one and only C.S. Joseph ! I'm truly embarrassed for Mr. Frank James #MakingAmerica'sINFJrareagain
Can you type Muhammad the islamic prophet? There are some people who type him Infj is it possible?
ENFP
Dang infj doctor never thought they could become one because of si demon..I guess with se aspirational they can literally obtain anything that they put their mind into.
I also think FJ is an INFP because I don't relate to him at all. I do subscribe to his channel though because he's creative spontaneous interesting and lots of fun, which INFJs are just not (sorry).
INFJs are if they stop being afraid to be
