Thank you I really enjoyed your tour it was ease to understand and clearly spoken , I’ve watched quite a few videos about celebrity edge cruise ships and I found your video much better than those I’ve already seen . Thank you.
Sailed on the Edge in January 2020. Experience was quite good and unique with the exception of their "infinite balconys" which i loathe, specifically because the air conditioning for the whole room is turned off if the window is opened. I continue to appreciate Celebrity but I have so far written off the Edge class ships due to their non balconys.
Urgent ❕ We are writing and warming you regarding our recent experience on the Celebrity Edge Cruise to the Great Barrier, dated 22/10/2024. Upon our return home, I was diagnosed with a throat infection and still have it a week later, which my doctor confirmed is likely due to inhaling soot from the ship’s engines while we were on the sun loungers. Additionally, my wife suffered from nausea and dizziness during our time on board detracting significantly from what was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. I also have a video documenting the heavy soot situation, which I can provide upon request. The Captain has been informed of our concerns; however, we feel it is important to formally request a full refund due to the serious health issues we encountered. Considering the circumstances, we believe this is a reasonable resolution. I also have a video documenting the heavy soot situation, which I can provide upon request. Thank you for your understanding, and we eagerly await for you to caution your Viewers. We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response.
I'm a Celebrity fan and so disappointed with this ship . I thought the decor went for the gray/beige trend and lost the deeper colors Celebrity are known for. No modern nostalgia and evocation of classic spaces in this ship (execpt Normandie restaurant perhaps). But that's not the major problem. The two biggest problems I have is the ship within a ship trend that creates a suite class and takes away precious real estate from the majority of passengers. The second, more serious issue, is the deleting of excellent spaces like the forward observation lounge, library, small getaway spaces that the Solstice had, and any of the intimate smaller lounges that previous classes of Celebrity ships had or any real elegant, quieter spaces. The Martini Bar is not an improvement over the other except that it is bigger and needed to be. 3 of the specialty restaurants are located above the Grand Foyer so when the Grand Foyer is active the noise from it is heard clearly in them. The Club is a good space for a nightclub. But it makes for a poor show lounge and is used as one. Eden isn't for me. It's too themed and cutesy. And while it does function well as a quiet area by day, by night it is used as a show lounge and doesn't work that well. I'm not big on staterooms usually choosing an inside or ocean view one but those that like balconies are mixed on the infinite verandahs. overall, this ship could and should have been better. While it has the 4 MDRs that are nice and the high tech theater and lots of specialty restaurant, it lacks so many lounges a ship its size should have. It has very little appeal to some long-time Celebrity fans who stick with the Solstice class and hope Celebrity makes big changes in their next class of ships.
Have you sailed on an Edge Class ship?
Going next month...
Looks great 👍🏽

Glad it was helpful!
Hi love the tour thank you, just wondering if the edge ship has a pantry
Do you mean a buffet restaurant? If so yes it does.
Looks fantastic.

Oh wow this brightened up my day after hearing the terrible P&O news.
