speaking of the caution breaks thing to air ads during them... i was at work so i had to listen to the race on the IMS Radio broadcast. it is by far the worst radio broadcast i've ever experienced in any sport, not just racing. They spent at least as much time playing ads as they did commenting on the race, and there was no flow from broadcaster to broadcaster. They'd get confused, lost, etc. and it was impossible to understand what was going on with the race because they didn't communicate how things were changing, especially with pit strategies/pit stops. Reddick had a slow stop and the only way I knew is that they mentioned him in 5th and then the next time I hear his name, he's back in 9th or 10th. That's just one example of countless throughout the race. Thoroughly frustrating

No cautions at stage break! I like that better, especially at the old school races like Daytona 500, Coke 600, etc. If they have cautions at stage breaks, how about having some of them be non-competitive cautions, that way the teams can take a little time to adjust their car if needed.

Chase Elliott winning next week and Harrison Burton winning Daytona to knock Kevin Harvick out of the playoffs in his final season is the funniest possible outcome of the next two weeks and it’s not that unrealistic either. You get the guy who missed 1/3 of the regular season this year who also “stole” Harvick’s 2020 title as well as feuding with him in and taking away a chance at Harvick winning in 2021 in the playoffs and the guy who spun at Phoenix creating the series of events that led to Harvick not getting a storybook final win at the track he dominated at.

Some races the restarts are the most interesting thing about them. As purist I dislike stages but I will admit sometimes a caution keep it more entertaining

Elliott would have caught him if it wasn't for Rockenfeller and Stenhouse holding him up for 8+ laps

I am fine with green flag running but was disappointed strategy had no play today because there was no tire fall off whatsoever. I would not be opposed to alternate tire choices to enhance strategy for road courses.

Wonder if AJ's problem could be he's more worried about his wife and baby than racing.

I am 100% with Jordan on stage break cautions, they don't serve their purpose.

Moving the start line ruined the race. It was a boring race. Barely any yellow flags. Barely any passing.
