I'm so excited to see your back at teaching us your awesome talent in the kitchen. You are an incredible person in so many aspects. My mom passed away on the 18th & we loved watching your videos together. My mom had dementia & would think you were actually their cook❤❗My dad loved everything we made & he said, that Steve is one Blessed man to have such an awesome lady. He is in rehab in nursing home after having stroke. He still keeps up with every post from Steve. He is doing great & we will watch together, he calls you *THE CANADIAN BLONDE BOMBSHELL* 👏👍😍❤❗
Yes, I’m interested in seeing what you do with the canned tuna! I can think of few ways to use it. I know you’ll make something delicious. Welcome back!
Yay you're back ! Mmmmm canned fish ! I'm working on the "catching" aspect at present. Between picking & canning peas & beans & making dill pickles (old school with the glass top seals & rubber rings) from the garden & am just about filled my quota of Manitoba Goldeye to smoke. Nice typical early morning fishing the Winnipeg river. Sun rises are amazing. To make it extra challenging , I do not go out in a boat. All were caught from the shore/dock with mandatory barbless hooks. The best bait for Goldeye are grass hoppers (also great fun to catch a couple dozen Ha Ha Ha my neighbors must be laughing behind their curtains) Every morning, I spot beaver, muskrats, snapping turtles, osprey & a family of river otters. Its so invigorating to get back out there . The pantry is getting full; great feeling isn't it? I'll be waiting for the new vittles video !
Nice to have you back Sarah. I'm on a fixed monthly income, so I can't really afford the meals you prepare but I still love your channel. Sending ❤ and hugs your way. 🙂
Hello Sarah, glad your able to show your tuna/salmon which ever looks so good Hope you are doing well Goodluck and Godbless you family and of course Steve 😊
Finally the COOK IT EAT IT has come back to life... YES... Thank you it has been a long summer and can not wait to see what you come up with. Thanks again.
Hello Sarah, just a quick note to you for your new puppy and your other doggies as well. Please check out Dr Marty’s Natures Blend. It’s freeze dried raw food, and was the best thing we ever did for our fur babies.Best of luck through puppyhood! Lots of love to y’all❤️👩🌾
Awesome!! I have a great jerky recipe for any kind of ground venison, from deer, antelope, elk, caribou and moose. My late friend from Wyoming shared it with me. He'd make 9 lbs at a time to split between his two hunting sons to take back to college. Each batch calls for 3 lbs of ground meat and is a favorite among family and friends. I love watching both your, and Steve's channels. You give me new ideas and that's really something when I am a trained chef myself!! You two are wonderful people. Thank you both for being such an inspiration!! Looking forward to seeing new posts!!
I love canning! My grandparents always did it. I remember being a child helping them. They passed away before they could pass on the talent and skill of self reliant food preservation. After I had my daughter, I decided to teach myself so that I could pass it down to her and my boys. It’s such a fun tradition for families. I’m super excited you are doing this and sharing it with all. Also glad to see you’re back at it Sarah! ❤️
Yummy.. can't wait Sarah, I made a few dishes from here... the mac and cheese I make often.. Much Love from North Burnaby ❤️😘 Ps, can we request recipes.. lol.. I need help with my pie crust.. I tried many recipes, watched the videos.. but it's an epic fail.. lol. I mean its edible, I'm doing something wrong.. it's not tough, but on the verge of it each time.. I thought maybe you have a trick you would like to share.. Thanks hugs 😘🤗
Can’t wait. I love to can deer and always love watching other things being canned. Wish We had salmon 🍣 in NC somewhere besides Walmart frozen foods. 🤢
This looks so good! You're so busy, it's amazing you take time to put out a channel. Mom used to can venison, which was the best meat I've ever tasted. Our first jar of canned tuna after moving to the Washington coast was heaven, can't imagine what canned salmon is like.
So thrilled to see you back!! My daddy always brought halibut, salmon and elk back, from his Alaskan getaways...it's been great watching you prepare those and takes me back to a time when my dad instilled his love and passion for cooking in me. You're inspiring and appreciated! Anxious to see what's on the menu! Steve is a very blessed man...something shows that he's aware of that.! Lol.
Good! I got a pressure cooker, some quart and pints! Now I gotta get me some salmon 🍣- sometimes locals can buy chinook from tribal members. Well, maybe …Also, my desire is to get my youngest to go fishing with his uncle- serious steelhead! Cant wait to see this episode!!!
Happy new year from kelowna..hope all is well. I miss your recipe's.hope we can see more from you.ps i know you guys are busy as hell with life..no rush.. thank you for showing your tasty badass recipes.Steve is what i wish my dad was like..so cool.👍 lived not far from yur vacation spot.jakarta in the 70s😲🙈shit i jst aged meself.🤙
Steve really does do a great job for you behind the camera Sarah, in my mind I can hear you sigh as he says something like a little to the left...lol. can't wait for more tasty treats.
Hello from Kelowna.🤙 waiting 4 few more recipes for some wild meat thank you for everything you do I'm going to order a hat and hoodie soon.thnks. Ps ther up here too.🤓
is jarring food better then vacuum saving food to put in the freezer ? ive never jarred food someone told me it can be hard to do an even dangerous if done wrong
Hi Sara, so great to see you back, my Mother has canned ever since I was a little girl, I would watch her and now more than ever its so important....she still cans from our garden, and makes jellies and jams from our grape vines, she just got done making homemade applebutter...the current state of things will make canning and preserving essential and its just smart...welcome back Sara💐
Congratulation Sara on your new you tube channel!!! Please don't be shy about talking a little bit you are very talented and i wish you all the luck i have on your new endeavor!!! GBY and Steve Dave.
Sara- would you kindly give this tip to Steve, please? He often says, "Let me know if something is coming up behind me." I think he gets vibes that aren't good when this happens and sometimes I wonder if you are filming him because he doesn't mention if he is with anyone. Either way, He MAY want to attach a Mirror to his camera when he films by himself. I think I would be more comfortable, being able to see what's happening behind me. On another note, I love your videos. Keep 'em coming! Take care.
Maybe you could make a cook book to sell with the howtohunt stuff your ordering. Another cook I watch is cowboy Kent Rollins. I tell you because he gets some funny shorts. So hope you get a chuckle from some.
Hi, I left a link for you to look at but it is gone. Guess tube or maybe you did not like my leaving link. It was because I know from watching Steve's other channels that you have cornish but Bresse get 98% of same size in same time or little bit more. Chefs prefer Bresse due to taste. So thought you would like ingo. It was a comparison on time to butcher, size at butcher, & taste between cornish & Bresse a breed many chefs like. The "living traditions homesteaders" did a great simple comparison. They are another channel I watch & also love "Buffalo country life" because she cooks outside camp style & they own bison ranch so no talking just cooking & bison & the river. I know cooks like to watch other cooks so hope you've seen her also. Love your channel because it is simple & strait forward like hers.

Yaaaaaayyyyyyy 👋👋👋
I've bought a canner ready! Canning isn't very common in the UK. The most people di is make jam or chutney
Sarah please get two dogs this breed so much better with 2. Also protecting your livestock with Saba around will help.
Im not getting any of your recipes. Is it because you are not up loading or is something wrong with the change?
Hi Sarah. I only catch fish. I can't stand the way it tastes! My family used to do that with our salmon and trout.
Sara- would you kindly give this tip to Steve, please? He often says, "Let me know if something is coming up behind me."
