Assuming the video is not cap, I don't even get why he thinks it's "hard", like he thinks he put in some kind of great effort? Like what did he actually do? Match a woman on a dating app (he doesn't say this but it's glaringly obvious), chat for 2 weeks, and show up to a restaurant with flowers? Bro is talking like he climbed Mt Everest only to get stood up on the summit lol. Dudes used to charge into machine gun nests just to provide for a 5/10 in the past. Now, life is much easier and more comfortable, but dating and the sexual marketplace has become more stratified. It's just what it is. You simply cannot step out into the real world in 2023 with 1923 values and assumptions.
Anyway yeah, you absolutely cannot take flaking personally, even though it's extremely low-quality behaviour. But chalk it up to the game. You can mitigate it, but every man gets flaked on sometimes. Which is why I never lead with a restaurant date anyway. Because restaurants are not for random Tinder girls; they are a reward for consistent good behaviour and good, feminine attitude. Don't even get me started on flowers.
When a woman flakes, all it tells me is that I'm likely not the first or the last guy she's done this to. She is likely what I call a "dating app veteran". She is used to going on lots of restaurant first dates with supreme gentleman/nice guy types, she is used to being wined and dined, and she is used to ghosting and flaking on the ones that represent a lower value compared to other suitors. While those guys are bringing flowers and paying her dinner, some other guy is probably clapping her cheeks, or at least she could easily get a hotter dude to do it if she got bored. This whole female dating game is the bread and butter for lots of broken modern women out there. Their love life consists of fruitless dinner dates with some guys, flaking on their commitment to other guys, and having NSA sex with guys who are hot enough. This is not the kind of woman you want for a long-term commitment anyway, so big boy should be happy he dodged that bullet.
He actually catches on to the truth when he says "It's like nobody cares", yeah welcome to being a man. That's our blessing and curse basically, nobody cares about your feelings except perhaps your mom. If you put this video before 100 girls, half of them would invent some BS excuse ("Maybe her car crashed, maybe she thought you were creepy") and the other half would give him the "Aaaaawwwww, bless you, just be yourself and you'll find someone eventually" treatment, but still not give him any play, not even for pity's sake. So stop getting into your feelings. Feel them, but give them their proper place and don't keep stuck in them. Become more attractive to mitigate the risk of flaking, become the kind of dude that girls don't demand being wined and dined. You can't go through life thinking and talking like this dude, real or fake.
Totally agree on looking the part. One thing that is undeniable is that women put a lot of effort into their appearance. If guys put forth the same effort, I'd bet they would see better results.

The guy in the video does not look attractive, women go for attractive looking men. Just like women are rated from 1-10 on looks so are men. He needs to hit the gym change up his wardrode and focus on falling in love with his self before making some one fall in love with him. The right Looks and self love gets you into anything your heart desires.
