That purple is stunning! Christian Dior had a quartet of two vivid purples, and two turquoise shadows, back in the 80’s, and I have yet to find a purple quite like it, but this purple reminds me of it. So pretty!💜💙

My motto sometimes for looks too is “shimmers make everything better” 😂. This color scheme reminded me of that mob palette that you used a bit ago with that blue, and brown. Different tones but similar vibe lol. Purple always looks so pretty on you and I loved how it came out! 💜

Great colors!! That Periwinkle Blue you chose looked spot on to the color in the book, but when you applied it, it turned out to look more purple (which looks beautiful on you btw). Crazy how things can change like that huh?!? It’s like you see someone with a beautiful eyeshadow and you get that actual product, and it looks NOTHING like theirs when you put it on yourself😳😂
I’m only 7 minutes into the video, so I haven’t seen the struggles yet, but I just noticed how that blue looked more purple and I loved it!!❤
I thought the same thing - when I looked at it in the pan and swatched it with my finger, it looked blue. But after I applied it to my eyes, it looked super purple...sometimes I feel like my eyes are playing me lol
The look you created came out beautiful! I saw the look Nicola Chapman created and it was beautiful. I couldn't believe she thought blue eyeshadow did not look good on her. The good thing about makeup is that you can always try doing the look again. I agreed with you, the blue was too patchy. I think I have to get that book. It really helps create beautiful looks. Such a shame the formula of the blue shadow didn’t go well but the look still turned out 🔥 ❤ I also love the mug!!
I have to say that the duo chromes saved the look. That periwinkle matte shadow has a terrible formula, and I don’t think you would been able to wear the look more than 3 minutes after you turned off your camera! The shadow wore off more and more during the video!

Such a stunning look this ended up. Love the shimmer as well. I think the mob beauty retro roller rink disco collection would of been perfect for this colour trio you picked.

I bought the book and bought some makeup goodies, but I've been down for the count. With the tetanus shot, my hand and knee stiched up. It's been rough. When I feel better, I'm going to organize my makeup stash and try some new looks.

The look still came out nice. I just recently depotted shimmers from a palette where mattes were terrible.
I just depotted all of the shimmers from the Kaleidos palette and it is so much better, plus it takes up less space :)

That periwinkle shade was so beautiful, but the formula was crap. I really liked the combo of the reddish-brown liner with the periwinkle shadow. It would never occur to me to use those together but it is gorgeous!

The look was really pretty but did not look blue at all on my end it looked completely purple . Very nice though
