Thanks I really appreciate it! Honestly sword and shield is a relatively easy weapon to learn, the more you play it, more you’ll learn overtime. It’s a highly mobile weapon. I’m bias, but I’d recommended you give it a shot again!
@@gabrielm6393 shoryu timing window isn’t too tight, but you need to time it along side the monsters move. I’m not the best at explaining, but it’s almost like you use it in anticipation of a move, really my best advice is fight something and watch the monsters movement and anticipate what it’ll throw at you, counter. Really, it’s just practice though. As for perfect rush, it’s not as great as it was in ib, so it’s not really ideal to do backstep into pr, or pr in general. There’s occasions where it’s nice, but not ideal. Guard slash parry however is much more effective for making use of the perfect rush. The timing coincides with the flashes you see, you press the button when you see the flashes, don’t spam the button. Hope you get something out of this!
@@gabrielm6393the equipment shown in the video is not a comfort build, so I’d recommend trying to search up good sword and shield starter builds. Once you’ve familiarized yourself with the weapon, you can try to make a similar build like mine, but just so you know when your using a build similar to mine, you’re a glass canon most of the time, if you get hit you’ll most likely get one shot or lose 75% of your health per hit. If you’re looking for comfort or defensive builds, I unfortunately don’t have any.
Wow i dont have words for this gameplay, just fantastic, you revived my wish to learn to play with sword and shield

@@user-lt7pq3sc1r my problems are with the timing ofmetsu shoryugeki counter and the correct timing of perfect rush after the backstep. I Will do it

Do you play in switch?
@@hasagi1511 yes
Nice
Did you intentionally make your character look like Weiss from Rwby or is that just a coincidence?
@@Jackthat1 I just looked it up, coincidence lol
