Absolutely gold advertising... one commercial that may by almost 20 years old yet is still etched on your mind since the first time you saw/heard it!!! (Referring to the opening song/commercial)
The Retro Decade Revival Project is gonna start with the 1990s. Our goal is to bring real entertainment, true talents, pure originality and variety, old school, and more back into the public mainstream, starting with the 1990s.
Coca-Cola music that we all love starts at 0:01 end at 0:58 we all wish it comes back on the radio and on TV it's a real Legend to everyone else out there hearing this music Blessed be to Coca-Cola Blessed be to this channel Blessed be to everyone out there too Live longer and prosper throughout these years
That song from the first ad got stuck in my head when I was a kid. I've found myself more than a few times over the years singing it. Good job at brainwashing, coca-cola. Never saw that one of the car stuck in traffic. David Cross is definitely one of the voices.
I remember the first ad playing every time I was in a Blockbuster Video store in the mid-late 90s. Whenever I hear it, I think of the times I spent in those places. Good memories. 😊
I loved the first one, despite how simple it was, still mets the objective of a commercial, maybe because the song is catchy. P.S. I had to watch a commercial before watching these commercials.
Wow, those are great! So high energy! But Douglas--catch the series finale of Mad Men. The first scene features a Coke can, because Don has just walked out of an advertising meeting. The in the middle...the other coke is referenced (by Joan & boyfriend) and at the end, inspiration strikes...and there's Don entering the '70s, dreams that commercial "I'd like to buy the world a Coke." Old dog new tricks dept: My dad stopped smoking at 86 and switched from Pepsi to Coke at 89!
That was a trip down memory lane but I missed one. I've seen it once or twice, a coke commercial where two guys are playing electric guitars in a back yard and a dog comes around and starts to howl along with the wailing sounds those guitars are making. The advert ends with "Always howling, always Coca cola"
There was a really dope coke commercial from the 90s that showed people in a club dancing to the house song "River Ocean" by India, been looking for it forever. If anyone knows where I can find it lmk!
It's a lot more organic and original. Have you seen korean cola commercial? It's not cola commercial anymore. It's celebrity making tool in the nation.
l jh In order to do so, I'm gonna need all the help I can get. I'm planning to put together a Retro Decade Revival Project. Our goal is to bring all the old school and heritage back into the mainstream. The decades will range from the 1980s to the Victorian Era. Of course, the early 1990s will be included as well. If you want to join the project, be my guest.
Technically, there are a couple of Blue Jays ones based on the first one that got excluded, but I guess in America you didn''t see those. Not sure if the Phillies would have got it in the event they won that year.
That's strange. Michael Steven Ovitz is an American businessman, investor, and philanthropist. He was a talent agent who co-founded Creative Artists Agency in 1975 and served as its chairman until 1995. Ovitz later served as President of The Walt Disney Company from October 1995 to January 1997
There’s a chapter on his book that details the relationship between michael and powerful people of Coca Cola and at the time he was asked to help Coca Cola come up with commercials for them since they needed to revitalize their brand since the Pepsi commercials were killing them, therefore Michael used CAA to come up with talented people from the Hollywood to develop the commercials, the end result was these always Coca Cola commercials and the reason they are so good is because they did used big name filmmakers, producers from Hollywood around that time, they made like 30-40 something of them along with the famous polar bears thanks to 3d technology used in films and in the end helped Coca Cola deal from negative revenue to positive to the point even getting into merchandising helped them become who they are today with having Hollywood being advertised with their products, this is why they sell limited edition Coca Cola cans with six flags/or whatever movie is out and about. Ever since Coca Cola has never been the same
Anyone know how I can find a Diet Coke commercial shot in Sydney, Australia in the 90’s ? my son was in it and it ran for a while in cinemas as well. Lost the old VHS Video 😢
That first one is imbeded in my childhood memories from watching when it aired in Aus, to when I rewatched it again before we got rid of the old VHS. Also when I started to noticed adds getting longer, used to count them. Just think about that...the ammount of adds has gotten longer in between shows...at least here in Australia.
It's called Always Coca-Cola and it's sung by Joey Diggs I've actually made a video that features the entire full length version of the song you can watch it here ruclips.net/video/XJqOGAWPJsE/видео.html
I used to watch these adverts when I was brainwashed not anymore completly cured but just had to watch them again to give myself a second opinion reality check and guess what ...same feeling I, m I have the OK! COKE the ultimate mind suppressant
2:37. So creative and addicting to watch. Probably one of my most fave commercials I've ever seen.
Absolutely gold advertising... one commercial that may by almost 20 years old yet is still etched on your mind since the first time you saw/heard it!!! (Referring to the opening song/commercial)
Damn right.
I miss the 90's so bad. It was like the present, but without the internet.

@Rozmalka Vicimoz Yavenmik Sure, as long as they're honest, truthful, faithful, respectful, clean, and 100% authentic.
The internet existed in the 90s tho
It was all destroyed by everything becoming more corporate and ethnically (and sexually) diverse
in that case just get of the internet , genius

I don't call it brainwashing. I see it as a catchy tune that gets you excited in a good way.
I remember the first ad playing every time I was in a Blockbuster Video store in the mid-late 90s. Whenever I hear it, I think of the times I spent in those places. Good memories. 😊
@@Rocket_scientist_88 We'll have Blockbuster Video stores brought back to the mainstream thanks to the Retro Decade Revival Project.

1:34 Coca-Cola predicted Among Us! XD
I was there in the 90s and I'm only now realizing how weird the commercials were. Why were they all experimental films?
It's a long time ago, I think that some on this reel were pitched to the client but never aired!
El de 5:03 es mi favorito 🤩

Sounds very much like the Ava Max song "Kings & Queens". Just coincidence, Ava?
But the slogan "Always Coca-cola" didn't came out in 1993?
I worked for McCann-Erickson the advertising agency that produced these commercials so had the reel before the launch date!
