@17PHANTOM17 hey mate same a Souths man to my soul but my old man was a mad bear so spent many an arvo at bear park. we have have an outstanding team song but would have to say this is the best. probably cause i heard it 6 million times in my childhood as the old man being a mad bear played it every 5 secs. cant believe he didnt break the cassette hehehehe. ps. the only merge i couldve ever have comprehended was Souths/Norths but thats a long time ago.

Players should have boycotted playing for Manly instead of playing for this whore. The Bears are the one that created a base in Manly to encourage players from Beaches to have a chance to play in NSWRL. Then in an act of treacherous behaviour they split to form there own Club & in forced Merger destroy any remnants of The Bears. They should have been kicked out of the competition
Manly were better lol if the bears were still in the comp they would come constantly last maybe sometimes they might creep up to 10th at the highest but they would never taste success again

South Sydney in its original form not owned by Tycoons like Russel Crowe would have pushed for the Bears inclusion. Rabbitohs should have stood by the foundation clubs & they all should have exited and then all the supporters would band together to keep the history of Rugby League. Not promote Manly or Melbourne the whores of Rugby League. Manly loved that title they wanted to be the Insular Peninsular for a reason. They did it in spite of other clubs. Rugby League is not Melbourne Storm or Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. The heart and soul of Rugby League in Australia are teams like THE MIGHTY BEARS
That doesn’t matter, it’s a corporate decision made. But we will always be tied in two ways; Foundation 1908 clubs & both exited the competition in 1999.
a lot of the clubs got screw when they were force them to join other clubs but I'm not a bear supporter but i wish they never did that to all the clubs it screwed every thing up in the NRL
Should've tossed out the Manly-Warringah Flappy Birds and kept North Sydney in the comp. North Sydney are a much better team than Manly and they aren't grubs.
