Federal Signal STH-10 | Fire Signal | Trexlertown, PA

Filmed on December 19h, 2023.
At 16:11, Lehigh County dispatched Station 56, an Engine from Fogelsville and a Truck from Trexlertown to the CVS. Crew found nothing and went available shortly after. This is the first successful time I've captured Trexlertown's STH-10 doing a full cycle of Fire Signal. I've actually managed to nab the siren tones as well. Unfortunately I got nothing much more to say.

Apparently this thing is connected to a 4th generation AF timer, which is actually the only known 4th generation AX series timer in existence

How many generations are there? Cause I have a picture of another timer with the same generation on a different siren.

@@FireRescue80 there were 4 generations although the 2nd generation timers are very obscure and I’ve not managed to find any documented ones online. The most common are the generation 3s. The main difference from the generation 4s and 3s are that the generation 4s use a different lock mechanism, have a black instead of red nameplate and slightly different labels, “test” is replaced with “manual test”, and “attack” is replaced with “attack warning” the generation 4s also don’t have the yellow power indicator light and aside from that they’re the exact same as the gen 3s

That's actually very interesting. Wescosville has another AF4 Timer. I have pictures of it but not in the greatest quality. The siren is a Fedelcode Model 5. It goes off but consider yourself lucky if you hear it go off because the fire department only sounds it when it wants to. Which is extremely rare.
