He is best known for his Academy Award-nominated role for Best Supporting Actor in Bullets over Broadway, the 1993 film A Bronx Tale, based on his play of the same name, Special Agent Dave Kujan in The Usual Suspects, Primo Sidone in Analyze This and his recurring role as Shorty in Modern Family.
Vincent D'Onofrio is the Rock Star of Actors, Love Him!
Vincent D'onofrio is a phenomenal Actor
This man is an underrated legend! 🙌🙌 his an acting god! His range is unbelievable 😍
He's not underrated.
@@dr.barrycohn5461 stop
The Salton Sea 🏆
One of the most underrated actors in Hollywood. From MIB to Daredevil to FMJ dude kills every role he's in
really? I don't know why anyone would cast him. . . .he's a tool . .
@@Semprasectum a lot of great actors are. They're usually quirky or stand-offish
Listen, Hand,s Down Vicent, is one of my generation,s greatest gifts. I'm 57 by the way. Outstanding actor, and a great human being. Thank you Chazz, for having him on your cast!
criminal intent is the best law & order
OMG! Vincent is literally the most beautiful man that ever lived on this planet. His portrayal of Bobby Goren is the only thing that gave me hope about men again after my divorce. BTW, Bobby if you're still out there somewhere, I'm single. lol
Hope things are getting better for you. Not all men are bad.
The ONLY man that gave you hope? Thats cause all men are automatically pieces of shit, like me, can't help it.. was just born a man.. so I'm dog shit.. every woman should keep this mind set. Itll do wonders for them and their emotional behavioral, and wonders for men and our self esteem and is the only true step towards equality
@@MrADjam5 we need to stop explaining "all men aren't bad"... that should be common sense and makes it commonplace for us to need to explain that.. just treat women and men ike with respect and be a morally, karmically good person
Too bad. He is well and truly taken.
He made some good indi, cult movies in the late 80's. He was at his best in Criminal Intent.
I always thought of Bobby Goren as the perfect man. I like his size--his height, his body type, etc. And then his intelligence, his attention to detail. Love him.
LOVE THIS GUEST WOW!!! CHAZZ IS KILLING IT!
Really missed this guy on law and order
Bring back criminal intent
I wish they would bring it back 🤞🏽please 🙏🏽
Two guys whose first major Hollywood film roles were directed by legends. Amazing! 👏🏻
Love Vibcent D'onofrio. My favorite role was Law and Order Criminal Intent
I luv him as an actor myself, but I could never have him question me n cop mode!!!! I would probably break b4 he even ask a question 2 start with!!! I would b like.... Yeah , I did it, not sure y I did it, but I did it!!!! Lol
@@lelet8601 🤣🤣🤣 I hear ya on that one. Just tilting his head in that intense way that he does and I'd be toast!
Det. Bobby Goren is my favorite protagonist in the L&O universe. Great interview, Chazz. Vincent was very good in 'Kill the Irishman ' as John Nardi. All the best to you both. 👍
VINCENT IS THE MAN 👨
Shout out D'Onofrio. Class act.
Vincent D’onofrio is just a LEGEND, and possibly my fave’ actor/character ever on Law and Order, and with the amazing cast they’ve had, that says a LOT 😂
Yes my favorite
I’m just watching Law and Order criminal intent 😳and just saw this This man is a fantastic actor I’ve always had the biggest crush on him his work is absolutely fantastic I’m so happy I’ve watched this great video it’s a keeper 🙏🏽🌹
Great interview Chazz. D'onofrio is the DiNiro of the future. I wish him bouna fortuna.
Not even close DeNiro can only play one type . Vincent can play anyone a way better actor than that punk DeNiro.
Love this actor! Definitely one of my all time favorites!
One of my favorite actors! I saw him at galaxy con in Austin last weekend. I grew up watching him. Me and my brother would stay up all night and watch all the Kubrick movies repeatedly. And I watched Men in Black dozens of times. We loved the cockroach guy and always imitated him. It was so funny. That character creeps me out on another level, but at the same time it is hilarious. It's weird too because I felt connected to his characters, like if you've ever been bullied you know what Gomer Pyle felt like. And the cockroach guy, that's how you feel when you are trying to fit in and you're just an awkward weirdo kid who's not comfortable in their skin. In some weird way as a teenager I related to him...always flubbing stuff up and being so clumsy LOL. Thank you Vincent D'Onofrio!
Great conversation with Vincent Chazz. He has humility and a greatness about him.
The Salton Sea....come on 🔥🔥🔥
Always loving Vincent in anything.
He's got it. 🌟
Poo bear likes that in a young man.
I love him!
So grateful!!
Two of my favorite actors in the same interview! This was brilliant and fun. Thank you, Chazz and Vincent. Props for giving Kate Erbe the praise that she deserves!

I am a fan!!! Especially in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Love your acting Vincent.
Mr Palminteri reminds me of an Italian Johnny Carson, all class and textured who can go in so many directions.
Thanks for the content,
Yah it’s better to be loved❤️
2 fascinating, entertaining gentlemen who seem like the most regular guys ever; THIS IS JUST GREAT👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview, two of my favorite actors of all time!

Love me some. Vincent D'onofrio the best .Been a fan since Law and order .and FMJ. You two are great in Godfather in Harlem I'm hooked .
It thrills me to no end when I get to listen to these kinds of conversations. Not just the information shared but the mutual respect & admiration that they have for one another as coworkers. The entertainment value skyrockets, to me when we get to see the "ooh's & ahh's" in these guys eyes & in the answers to the various questions. Inspiring & appreciative of what it takes to make happen these movies, tv shows, etc.
It's just a fun feeling on this side to be privy to the little unknown details that go into doing "your job." Great stuff here!
Ive been watching Chazz being interviewed by Michael Franzese and came over to see his interviewing skills and knew he would be great and the bonus is Vincent D.!❤
So inspiring! Thanks Chazz and Vincent!
One of my all time favorites
Mornin' Chazz 🤗, thanks, Mr. D'Onofrio is one of my favorite storytellers 💖🥂

Hey Chazz another good one! Vincent is a very talented individual! Keep riding these good horses! Ha ha! Very entertaining!!!
EPIC EPISODE! LOVED IT!
2 of my favorite actors right here ::). Thoroughly enjoying the podcast. Quickly becoming one of my favorites!
I don't really 'follow' actors usually.. but really started to appreciate V.D'O mostly thru regularly watching CI throughout the pandemic and, well, been a fan ever since! A Big person with exceptional eloquence, ability and humility, with his feet on the ground whilst still being a real star, and, as they say, the "Actors actor" ... 🤔 ... Food for thought for all of us who appreciate him perhaps ?! Great interview, pleasure to watch.
One of the most underrated actors
This is my third "Old School" show I've seen and I gotta say, I'm hooked. Your guests are great, your topics are great and the show is very upbeat. The show with Authur Narscano (sp?), from the Sopranos series, was hilarious BTW. Keep up the great work, Chazz. I look forward to seeing them all. (Godfather of Harlem too)
The first time I ever saw Vincent D'Onofrio was around 1980. He was playing guitar for the Cheryl Rixon band. It was at a club in New Rochelle New York
I just found Chazz Palmenteri podcast . My luck Vincent Dofrio was guest . I always loved Chazz Palmenteris movies and Vincent Dofrio is a genius. I have a station on tv that shows 7 episodes of Criminal Intent every day. And I watch every day. If I was ever asked if I could meet actors it would be both Chazz Pamenteri and Vincent DOfrio.
Vincent phenomenal talent 🪅
Hey there Mr Palminteri I just finished watching you speak with Mr Franzese and I commented on the “Is ‘A Bronx Tale A True Story’ Part 2” video and I wanted to share with you what I wrote, because I sincerely believe you just changed something in me for the better…
@11:00 or so…MAN! Hearing and seeing Mr Palminteri describe this process and seeing his success and excitement in his hindsight REALLY motivated me to step up my game with my own creative stuff (music)
Mr Franzese, THIS video here, right here, this video here just changed my life for the better. 100% no doubt.
THANK YOU sir!
So I wanna thank you too Mr Palminteri because I had No idea you were at one point a struggling writer who lost his job and was at that point all of us creative people reach when we say, “alright, f**k it, I’ll write my own stuff”.
It’s great to see two mafia bosses conversing without bullets flying.
nice interview Chazz is getting good at this, at drawing details out of the guests. thanks for the upload God Bless
I love both of these men SO very much!!!! Great interview!!
One of my favorite actors!

Great great interview.
Two brilliant legendary actors!!
And they are both absolutely fantastic in Godfather of Harlem.
So funny they were both bouncers!
I actually used to work at Heartbreak Nightclub at the same time as these guys were at the Limelight.
(The Limelight they worked at was a real Church that was converted into a Dance Club!)
They were two of the hottest clubs in New York City in the 80’s- I bet all of us who went to these clubs at that time probably ran into these guys at the door!
The new Magnificent Seven is a masterpiece, Vince was amazing 👏
Very interesting information on the industry.
Just watched Scarred City.
Great movie, great acting, great delivery by Chaz and all the other actors.
Stephen Baldwin under appreciated actor.
My first movie I saw him im was "Feeling Minnesota with Keanu Reeves, Delroy Lindo and Cameron Diaz. Great movie.

Mr. D'onofrio--you were wearing an Eggar suit in MIB.

These two fellows make an old woman wish for younger days 💋
when chazz raises his voice, he kinda sounds like Kermit the frog🤣

Chazz, can you get another great Italian American actor Steve Buscemi? He I such a great man and actor. A very authentic person. I think he'd be a great guest. He was so young on Mystic Pizza, and excellent.
@Lady Liberty Yeah, of course he's an American.
Or like John Turturro...
@@ppvk2610 Yes, he's another great character actor. Or, Stanley Tucci.
Just watched Mystic Pizza... quite the transformation. What separated Vincent from the other eye candy back in the day was his acting ability. He wasn't just another pretty face. Great interview. Thank you Chazz. :o)
An amazing individual 👏
Such a fantastic actor. He seems like a nice guy-someone you'd love to hang out with.
I love Vincent so much. I watch Law and Order reruns all day, but only the ones with "Bobby".
I loved Criminal Intent. Vincent is a great actor. Excellent interview Chazz! By the way, you too are a good actor. Really liked A Bronx Tale.
This guy is a great actor. The chin. Gigante. Class acting.
Did he play him?
@@texanstry2027 yep
How cool is it that both John Lennon and Billy Joel were humble enough to think that their presence would bother someone else
Excellent show! Hope to see Paul Sorvino on here sometime. Would love to hear his thoughts on his role as the Prime Minister.
This Kid Mr. D' Onofrio is a great actor I guess He ain't a kid no more. He did an Episode of one of my favorite shows " Homicide: Life on the Street" called The Subway, I din't know who he was at the time but people should watch it He was great and I could tell He was going places. Mr. Palminteri is also a great Actor enjoy everything I seen him in. Good Interview.
D'Onofrio is one absolutely great actor. I love the Law & Order-CI he and the talented, gorgeous Kathryn Erbe who I fell in love with.
This was great. People always told me I looked like Vincent.. and his family is from Naples too so we might be related.
I also love Mystic Pizza!
Had no clue he grew up in Hialeah, hometown also came from nyc like him. Remember him in law and order
Two bosses at their game talking shop… this is a real podcast #salute
Two legends .......🙌🙌🙌 Love The movie Newton boys good flick vincent is great ..
Great interview. I wish you had asked him about one of his earlier films called Mr. Wonderful.
Honestly, Chaz, you should've played VINCENT "THE CHIN" GIGANTE. You resemble him. You look like him.
Chazz #1
i thought bobby D put the weight on for al capone 'the untouchables' but 80lbs does seem the record. // props to Vincent //
tom hanks lost all that weight for Philadelphia and won the award for best actor. // adding weight, losing weight takes skill and dedication
Hey Chazz...Do you think you can get and interview Joe Montegna?
