crt is still best and it will be as crt technology is simply overall is better in general. actually you can buy 1080p crt. basically colors, black and speed is instant while led will never be instant.
@@arturasnesakysiu1684 OLED is very close to CRT in the categories where CRT is legit superior, but OLED massively superior in other ways too (far deeper blacks, thin/light, features like multiple inputs and better OSD and USB pass-through, higher colour accuracy, no noise, higher refresh rates). CRTs also die over time. And they are all old and ugly designs. Don't get me wrong, if you have a CRT it is a great display to keep around for some uses, no doubt, but I would never choose one as my primary or only display.

Calibrated my little 34 inch Acer Nitro 3 monitor using my handy idisplay Pro Plus colorimeter using DisplayCal, which is an upgrade from a Samsung 1080p monitor. Did a before and after comparison, the difference is night and day, after the automated process of calibrating finished (more than four hours), the result is incredibly good.

@@Sergiuss555 every pixel in the display will get its information from 4 other pixels which will improve quality compared to a standard 1080p image . Also since most image and video formats compress the image somewhat , downsampling from 4k will reduce the effects of compression and any artefacts that show up
@@Sergiuss555 this isn't really about angles , this is more about color information where every color channel for the pixel will on screen will have more info to sample from , thus increasing the quality . While it's not exactly the same thing , it's similar to bitrate , where the image would look higher quality because more colors could be represented accurately .

With an "OLED" you get more than "deep" blacks, more like ABSOLUTE blacks with INFINITE contrast ratio!
