In a video that gave a tour of both of Porsha's homes (her first one and this one), it was said that Porsha gifted her mother the first home when she moved in with Simon. I don't know if the first home is in Porsha's name or her mother's but if the first home is now in her mother's name, and Porsha did give that house to mom, that would explain why Porsha doesn't want to leave this house.
