When I hear someone whistling, then everyone whistles very quietly, and I remember Dimas strong whistle with vibrato and I understand that it is very difficult to repeat this.
He´s a entertainer too and uses, of course, his voice also for fun. He found a way to show what he can do with his voice and for the future he will find many other ways to sing and perform differently. He´s still young and in the beginning of his (great) carrier.

Chris, thank you for your appreciative comments. I, too, like the high notes because until Dimash's performances I've never heard anybody sing them. Dimash sings D8 in "Unforgettable Day" (his Gakku concert), a song which he wrote himself at the age of 19. That is the ultimate a human being can hear, and it is beyond the piano keyboard. I suspect that Dimash sang also E8 or even F8 at the same concert of his, but we hear nothing, because D8 is the ultimate we can hear. I hear a one-note whistle also in Dimash's "Le SOS d'un terrien ..." which he sang as the opening piece of the Hunan Television contest, "Singer 2017."

I agree. I don't think listening to a lot of the super high notes and whistles would go well on an album but definitely in a public performance would be lots of fun. When I listen to an album I enjoy listening to the trills the high notes and the staccatos. I've recently heard Dimash do some Mongolian throat-singing and he's very good at that as well. He is a master of movement through low notes to high notes to falsetto to staccato using the baritone tenor alto soprano and high soprano voice. He knows when to use pop voice and when to use Opera voice and he does it so smoothly that the audience isn't even aware that he's made the transitions. I appreciate the vocal reaction and intend to listen to more of your reactions for Dimash and other musicians.

Chris, I like the variety I find in most of D's songs. Of course when he is competing and on a live stage, he is going to bring something different but even I would not want to hear the whistle notes in every song. Dimash has some beautiful ballads that do not have all the high notes..and I love those. If you ever watch any of the many duets Dimash has sung, you will notice how well he always shares the stage and will never see one singer trying to out do the other. All of his duets are just fabulous and his most recent is Swan Goose, a Mongolian folk song, sung with Tengri, a Mongolian singer, with a beautiful but unusual voice. It is very worth you watching.
Not even only live but his album I love like anything. He is my savior because his music retrieved from being too long stuck into rotting feeling. I love his rendition along his whistle so very very much. specially his whistles. Also there are magnificent singers whose voices to me are like finest wine but Dimash's voice for me is the purest and untouched water from Glacier. It is not splendor but raw purity in his voice which makes it so endearing and mesmerizing.

I have found that people who are not stuck in a genre truly love the artistry of Dimash, no matter what their main musical interest is at that given moment.....Imma go head and say it, ‘If you are not Dimash fan, you know nothing about music!’ ...personally, I also quite enjoy the authenticity of his love for his traditional cultural roots and the respect he shows to others’ musical roots in the process.
His high notes sound very natural and powerful for me! The whistle note at Gakku concert sounded like the dolphin's message full of joy and pleasure! I love that Dimash is TOO BIG in his talent and skills ...his singing is about Miracle that is obviously greater than any meaningful though useful speculations on how to sing, if he's gonna be commercially successful or if he's gonna confuse public singing as 5 different people simultaneously (Dave Eringa at World's Best). LET the Miracle happen: the oftener, the better!

Personally for me, I can definitely listen to a whole album of his stuff all day, every day for a while. That's exactly what I've been doing for the last 2 months and the end is nowhere near. When I can't watch the videos, I still play the music so that I can be near to his voice. 😄🤣🤣 Also, not all his pieces are just full of high notes and whistles. I think he bridges the gap between so many genres, with an operatic sound thrown in everywhere...I find it beautiful. But even when he gets up there with those notes, they don't sound like screaming to me. They're smooth and they put me in a trance because they're so controlled. Now, I would love to hear him take an 80s power balled and add even more magic to it, but I'm really just dreaming.

He is every but as talented as Dimashi. He also competed in “I am a singer” but in 2018. He came into the scene when he won the competition “Suoerboy” in 2013. He is an absolute genius in re arranging songs, writing his own. He def is always outside the box. He does it all...listen to his songs fr the contest. His variety will blow your mind. Pure genius. Fr “fake monk” to “child” to his duet w/GEM (get everybody moving) called “Light year away”. His duets w/women r just literally mind blowing. He also did a song called “why nobody fights”. Just those 3 words make up the entire song....for some reason it works, esp if u watch it w/the vid that went w/it. Anyhow. Give him a try. Even if it’s on your own time.
