Sob story coming up, but I became a single mum of 2 about 2 years ago, I can't work yet for a handful of reasons but I've basically stopped wearing makeup when I used to be a makeup artist and had a full glam room. I legit think about what $20 AUD can get me as opposed to 1 item of makeup. I'm wearing makeup from 5 years ago and loving vicariously through others coz it means I get to pay off part of my electricity, or gas, or food. So thank you for still showing both sides of finance. And for loving the cheaper stuff even though you can live on the high end stuff. Love you steph, been a sub for many years from down under and you bring me comfort ❤
I tried a LED face mask, not this one, and ended up with melasma on my forehead. Never ever had any pigment spots whatsoever. Now, two years later, it's still there. So there's an easy pass right there staring me in the face.
You are not missing anything ...believe me . They are just gimmicks. Food, sport and not drinking alcohol nor smoking and not burning your skin with sunbathes are the key to have nice skin. And genetics, of course.
The CT matte blushes work WAY better with a brush. I usually love using a sponge for liquid blush but these are like a completely different product with a brush, really nice pigmentation (not too much, not too little)
It was the foundation that caused issues with your base and I'm so happy (in a nice way lol) to see someone else have this issue with it because I thought it was just me. Goes on like a dream. Would sell my family for another bottle. The minute you try to set it down it just hates powder but also would need a bucket load of powder to set enough to put other products over it without lifting...... and don't you dare sweat under it. If you do the beads of sweat (sorry to be gross lol) actually lift the foundation and powder off your face in one goopy mess . It's awful. And I've tried it with numerous powders and moisturisers. I was so disappointed with it if I'm being honest. I can make it work but need to babysit my makeup for the day once it's on so I definitely wouldn't replace it

I love those UOMA cream compact bronzers and blushes. I have the same shade as you bought and it works really well on my face, I’m probably one shade lighter than you. The blush I bought was the dark burgundy/brick brown shade and I love that too. I love the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop translucent compact powder. I use it the same way you used that compact powder, and I absolutely love it. I’m hooked on that powder now. I LOVE that green eye look you did. That olive color looked stunning on you. 😮
I have been using foreo bear for a while now and I'm loving it - this brand obviously does its research and I'm sure that this mask is good. It looks really flexible and the range of features is crazy. I already know it is worth it :) You are so lucky :) How long have you been using it? I guess it doesn't take long to notice the difference

Honest opinion I used to love the hourglass foundation stick but save your money. It’s good but not great for the money. It’s really thick and can be a bit dry on the skin.

Oh and I have the hourglass foundation stick and the new soft focus liquid foundation and I prefer the new one much more than the stick. It is such a great foundation. Super pricey but imo worth every penny! 😊
