@@cliffpinto7405 installer never gave us one. Can't find the manual for our specific crappy model online. All I know is that it is DSC 433mhz and it doesn't have the same controls. Tech support for our alarm system said just press * 2 ## but all that does is give use a snooze from the incessant beeping just outside our master bedroom. Middle of the freaking night we haven't slept well and I want to rip the thing out of the wall, but then I'd have to deal with police coming and then have to pay false alarm fee.
Thankyou!!! Have had this problems whenever I visit Mums place for over 2 years. And this video has just silenced the problem and finally let us have a good nights sleep 🙌
System announcements and status beep volume can be adjusted. To adjust the buzzer volume level: Press [*] + [6] + [Master code]. Use the [] keys to scroll to [Buzzer Control]. Select [*] to choose from one of the 21 possible volume levels. if you set it to 0, it will be silent. The trouble light will be there, but there is no beeping.
Our power goes out multiple times throughout the day/night due to scheduled blackouts and we had to silence the date and time reset error beep twice every. damn. time. THANK YOU.
hello, and thank you for your tutorials. I again have a fault 1-3 "general system fault" yet the alarm works correctly, commissioning, shutdown, ... sending to home automation on my app ... it's happened 2 times already and I called an alarm company each time who disconnected the 2 x batteries and cut the main power supply and restarted the DSC, then the fault disappeared. The batteries are less than 1 year old and work very well But apparently during a micro power cut?, the Orange default comes back do you have any idea how to fix this error? thank you
We've had our hard wired system for 15 years and can not stop the "phone failure" beeping and the company that installed it no longer in business, the instructions say I need to get the code of the installer... Is there any way around this???? PLEASE HELP!!!
No. There is no way around it. Installer codes are unique to the company that installed it, and they will not provide it to you for security purposes. Nobody uses a different installer code each time they install a system, therefore they would be giving you the keys to every system they ever installed.
hi, i don't know if you answer question on this 5 years old video but i have a quick question: i just moved in my new house and there's an alarm panel like this but it's not active, we don't pay for it, it was installed by the first owner of the house. my problem is: my Gf for some god knows why reason decided that she wanted to put the right time on the panel and i don't know why the alarm started trough the house, i had to rip out the cord to stop the sound but my panel is still active when i open the door there's a long beeping sound. i just want to silence it and return the system in dormant state, how do i do that ? i don't have codes for the alarm so is there a way to return it the way it was.
What if you cant silence it, because the system is in alarm? The system is not currently armed, its just low battery system trouble and it occurred after main power outage.
Thats an alarm, and you need the code to disarm the system when its in alarm. If you inherited a system and do not know your code, look for a phone number on your security panel (not your keypad) as sometimes the installing company will leave a number there. The phone number on this video is of a *Local Security Company in North Carolina.* They are likely *not* your security company that can help you. The company that installed your system is who you need to contact in order to retrieve a code to disarm the system. Alternatively, contacting a new company would likely require the system being replaced if they cannot default the original installers code.
I’ve lived in my house for 5 years with this thing, randomly tonight I decide to watch this, got it in the first try….. you’re an angel in disguise
So you didn't think to read the user manual? 😂
A lot of people buy homes with these installed and don't have manuals.

Hi, what if my dsc model doesn't have a control panel that indicates functions? I only have the number lights.
Except then you won't hear yourself pressing any buttons either.
Thank you! That was driving me crazy!

You have a device connected on your keybus that is faulty.
Please explain how do you silence the beeps with a touch display instead of that simple panel.
