The color grading was boring for such a beautiful place; the set design could have been way more creative given the location, the framing was awful, the drone handling and stabilization were not there, and the editing was lazy. At one point, the drone operator decided to bounce up and down with the footage, which looked super amateur. Hayden, I love you. Your music deserves to be handled with more creativity. I wish my crew could've done that shit. Maybe because of the location, you thought it would be best to the micro crew since it's such a specific foreign location, and logistically to get a whole crew down, there would be a nightmare. However, you could still do WAYYY better with this, keeping it lean with a powerful super micro crew. Plus, there's no excuse for post because there was still a lot more that could've been done with the footage that you got in post. I've been listening to this album every day. It makes me feel like those islands, like I am in the Whitesunday islands but this feels like it was shot on a couple DSLRs and amateur cameramen. I am truly not trying to ruffle feathers, I am sure those dudes worked hard but that shouldn't make a difference when it comes to your art and the masterpiece you made. Its watchable because you're in it but I couldn't stand by as a filmmaker and not say something.
