Great interviewer - could tell she knew the material, she asked good, pointed questions, was very polite, and let him answer. Could do with more like her nowadays

Amazing isn't it? He talks about being 'the most unknown published author' and look how he ended up. I really miss the Discworld and wonder what people in it are doing now that Sir Terry is gone.

It would be ice to see what Rincewind and the luggage have been doing, but sadly we will never know.

You're really just going to go and make me tear up like this? I never looked at it this way, halfway through the series and now I don't want it to end.

Discworld books are some of the most fun I’ve ever had reading. He makes me laugh out loud with his wit and unexpected turns of phrase.

I miss the excitment of a new Discworld book coming out, but I'm so glad his family decided there would be no more after he left us.
    A true genius.

Yeah I couldn’t imagine anyone make it come to life like Terry he was truly a genius and his writing really does take you into the world

I feel like Rhinana could have had a stab at it. Maybe not carried on anything that existed but published something set in that world. Or written a game set in that world as she is primarily a game script writer.

He became the best philosopher ever. I live the way he thinks...I say 'thinks' not 'thought' ad I must believe he is somewhere in the 'after this life'.

I watched this interview not long after it got uploaded and I really liked how down to Earth Terry Pratchett seemed, so I decided to get into the Discworld books. I'm now reading the fifth book Sourcery after reading the first four multiple times. I've really enjoyed how fun they are, and how rich and vibrant the world of the stories is. They are truly inspiring.

I've been in a really bad reading slump lately, picked up Hogfather from work and I'm already more than halfway through. I've had so much fun and it's really helped with my depression :)

Discworld novels are great for that. Everyone I read makes me laugh and it's so easy to shut out the mundane world with his books!

Remember up until JK Rowling he was britains best selling author and until he got his diagnosis of Alzheimer's you really didn't see much of him anywhere. I've been a fan since about 95 and I had never seen him interviewed until he started to raise awareness. In comparison JK Rowlings every opinion seems to be international news.

The only Pratchett "for children" books I've read were the Bromeliad trilogy. They were easily as good as the Discworld "adult" stuff. I've yet to find anything by him that I didn't love
