Let me say that this model is one of the finest models made....and that because of two reasons ..... The first that this model matches the real plane of course..... The second that the steps of this model are all normal steps and not complicated ... This gives the model a preference .... . Normal folds and amazing results ....... Great job ...... Thanks a lot.
Hi Jayson! I'm planning to fold some of your planes over the coming months and I'm interested to know exactly what papers you use and where you purchase them. I'm sure others may be curious as well. Would you be willing to share that info? Thanks!
This plane is awesome! i folded this now and was a pretty good attempt. This is the hardest plane i have ever folded but managed to fold it. Keep it up!
Finally got my hands on 13" baking paper roll and was able to finish it... shaping this on baking paper is hard though... Thanks for yet another amazing model... Have 3 of your books... one is not yet available in India (it is an import) thus very expensive... will pick it up as soon as it is available!. Always a fan of your work!
This tutorial was great! I made it with a 50cmx50cm sheet of kraft paper, turned out ok. This is the 1st tutorial i followed in your channel. Hope to make the F-22 soon! Cheers
I dunno how to thank you but ye made my most fav jet with paper. When i first folded it my eyes watered up hope your channel hits millions of subs one day
I just want to know how you put in 3 flight control computers to make it fly! (The real one is so unstable it can't be flown by mere humans, or so we are told.)
Amazing tutorial, but imo i think you should fold the nose in and then fold it back out, but not the whole way so that it looks more like the real cockpit
It will intefere with the forward landing strut. There is a way to modify the cockpit section but it is complex and you will lose the color change cockpit.
I have done it,I think this is intermediate model ,and I think your origami plane can practice how to shape the origami plane, because yours origami plane has many detail,it is very nice model, thank you jayson merrill
Second attempt on this jet first attempt, I got to the jet fold but then my paper got very sloppy! Since I'm using 8 an' a half inch square, my cockpit is half a centimeter long but the rest is pretty neat
Hey Jayson, I just got your book for christmass. I love it. I just wanted to ask which way is the best of folding this plane, from book or this video, because it is a bit different?
Very hard...i dont understand very parts of the origami because you are very fast! But your work is amazing. I would like of the to learn your origamis 😢. I am brazilian! Thanks for to share!
I see the challenge in designing these. Jayson, you have 2 personalities when designing these beautiful creations: artist and engineer. The artist in you is trying to make these as accurate and amazing as possible, but the engineer is there trying to improve these, reducing drag and weight in any way possible. You most likely went through 100-150 revisions trying to make this. The patience that you have is rivaled only by your skill. My favorite planes to research are the A-10 "Warthog" Thunderbolt II (yet to be made by you), F-117 Nighthawk (The video I'm commenting on) and the SR-71 (My next project after I master the Raptor), and you have most of them. Keep up the good work. I have a (fairly) simple JF-17 I've never published. I'll send you a crease pattern on Patreon, as I am terrible at drawing diagrams. Maybe you could check it out for yourself? -Origami Gamer
Jayson Merrill Haha..my 7-year old little guy commented without me knowing. He’s been learning from you for a couple years and is so inspired by what you’re doing that he wants to have his own RUclips channel like you. And he talks about you to everyone like you’re a personal friend. Thanks for responding to his comment. He’s so excited to find out. Also, thanks for making these videos. I like that he’s learning so much from your channel...including talking like an adult with marketing expertise 😜😃
There are thousands of people that draw inspiration from me. Many of which will become engineers or pilots or atheletes. Im glad to be able to add to society in a beneficial manner. Tell him to keep up the good work. He can fold quite well.
Where do you find your large origami paper (especially the foils) - seems like 15 x 15 cm is most common but there aren't really foil options bigger than that?
@@jayson5674I was very surprised to see your paper airplane. I used to make this plane origami, too. But the paper airplane you made was much better than I made the paper airplane. Your jets are are the most detailed and beautiful origami jets on the internet 👌👌 keep it up sir! And also what gsm paper are you using to make this one? Earlier today I made panther fighter jet

I have been doing origami for a long long time. Your models make me feel like a beginner.
True
Very true but I fold this plane first try and then I did it when I try it again I failed
Was it hard

@Antony Lai I work 70 hours a week at my day job in October. It's hard to keep a consistent schedule on RUclips while that's the case.
I think i may have misunderstood you. Will you be making videos or do you just want to fold the planes?

Only trouble I actually had was with the air intakes. I did it though, and it flies like a champ. Planning any more jets based on actual aircraft.
I have seen many origami but not this one, this is the best channel i have seen
Nice work! Aside from Tominaga Kazuhiro's origami F-117, yours is one of the best out there in my opinion, especially since it could actually fly
Tominaga used tape though

i folded it first try:) easy but elegant. good job Jayson
It flew on to my roof on my first throw

This is my fav origami model aside from the f22 btw 70 gsm a3 paper is slightly usable for this plane too but food wrapping paper is still the best
Holy smokes this flew so good !
I made this with an 8.5” sheet of printer paper. it is absolutely tiny, and it was very hard to jet fold.
how? i had to use a 16 to 17 inch sheet for this and that was of thin notebook paper

That is correct the f117 would be unstable without the fly by wire system
Dude its the same case with the f22 and sukhoi and literally every modern jet in existance
