Lana telling the writers to soften regina up is what made people love Regina and as a result made her such a huge star and made the show a success. Jennifer M/Emma was supposed to be the star but Lana's talent was too powerful and she outshined everyone. Rumple/robert c is a close 2nd

Yeah we agree with that. So I can not speak for all members of the channel. But myself (Sam) I liked her character more and more as the series progressed.
