This video was like an oasis in a desert of really high pressure wedding content on youtube. I have been feeling overwhelmed with my wedding planning. I needed this today.
Everyone keeps telling me to spend, spend, spend 😭 but the average wedding cost is more than the down payment on my house! I wanna have a great day, but I dont want to spend tens of thousands of dollars 😭😭
Oh yes definitely weddings are super expensive! That's the one thing people will encourage you to do is to spend a bunch of money because it's your special day. But I believe you can create a magical day without breaking your pocket.
I feel the same way. I don't want to spend tens of thousands either, but want a great day.
It was really interesting for me to hear that a lot of the regrets were the “small touches” or little accessories! I think this can be so important to remember when you’re getting all swept up in the moment and the emotions! It’s easy to buy things because you feel like you need to! Thank you so much for sharing!
I definitely agree with that :) We tend to loose sight on the important things and then that's when we tend to start spending money on things that we really just don't need.

That’s one thing I haven’t heard in all the wedding planning videos I have watched is hair. Like, I didn’t even think about how your hair falls/gets out of place after dancing and sweating. That is a good tip! Getting a hair style that can either be fixed easily or won’t look weird when it becomes unstyled

Wow you are so pretty… I have to say your wedding robe was worth the $90. It looks beautiful in that photo… Really really pretty it’s so elegant in comparison to all of the white terry cloth robes we see that says bride across the back…. The fabric of yours looks beautiful, soft and silky…

We have a big cake for our wedding in July. It will be served as the dessert after dinner. Should we stock up on take home cake boxes just in case?
Ooh nice ☺️ Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! If you think your guest may not eat the cake, maybe purchasing boxes for your guest to take home would be a great option. Also if you have a layered cake you can always freeze the top layer and eat it for your one year anniversary 😊. I hope that helps!
I listened up when you talked about the hair….that’s the biggest debate in my mind is how I should wear my hair!? Lol thank you for sharing your experience.
Oh yes! I had that same challenge when I was planning my wedding. I knew I wanted to switch it up a little bit and do something different. I would say really take advantage of your hair trial with your stylist. Try some different styles to see what works best for you :)
Amazing video. I so agree with all these points . I told myself I was not going to spend, thousands of dollars on a dress I was going to wear for a few mins. I ended up spending a total of $350 on my dress and got it costume made.
That's amazing! It's so crazy how much wedding dresses cost, my goodness!! But I'm so happy you found a wedding dress that's to your liking, I know it looks stunning!! :)

I’ve been obsessed with weddings all my life too, love those WETV shows 😂 I’ve wanted to be a planner since I was 18, but sometimes I feel like the industry is a bit ridiculous and obnoxious and it clouds my heart’s desires. I still may be a planner one day. But you’re definitely an inspiration. Please don't abandon the idea of being a planner. I loved my planner so much. You can be a good planner and stay under budget while getting the bride most of her heart desires. That's what my planner did for me.

Did you have your nose ring in for your wedding? I have one and my mom is adamant I remove it for the wedding or switch to a stud
I kept my hoop nose ring in lol I honestly forgot to switch it to a stud towards the end. In my wedding pictures I barely notice it though ☺️
@@LovelySoiree which is how I feel as well, it’s usually not that noticeable in photos and whenever It’s time to have kids my kids will think I’m a “cool mom” lol. But thanks for your response!

Your hair looks great! You're the second person who has said not to bother with a guest book as most people don't even sign them or to just buy a cheap one...

Amazon. Just get based on ratings. Got my beautiful one under $20 . Nice quality and very soft.
